Who is this me?
Am I a lover,
who cares for you,
and only thee.
Am I a player,
who "plays" emotions;
a game of one,
trying to fiddle with others;
hope of forgetting you.
Am I a smoker,
who smokes away,
and burns down images of thee,
encrypted in mine eyes,
my brain, my flowery thoughts.
Am I an addict,
who drinks, injects, smells;
just foreign liquids, substances, odors...
With a glimpse of perpetual longing,
and oblivion.
Am I a poet?
A wannabe?
A lover?
A fighter?
...
I am me,
and who is me,
Is for thou to see.
