Look at me happy as can be
Look again what do you see
My outgoing happy self isn't true
But if I acted differently you wouldn't know what to do
You see the cracks you see my flaws
But my feelings are complicated just like a jigsaw
I feel terrible and sad inside yet I always try to hide
And when I don't you set me aside
Look at me smart as can be
Look again what do you see
A girl that fights for her peers approval
Studies so that she faces no disapproval
Wakes up every day to the same routine
But she feels like doing nothing in between
Everyday is a war in my mind
Good thing for you I keep my thoughts confined

A scared girl that doesn't want to face society
Faces each day despite her anxiety
Yes I am broken yes I am flawed
Yet if I act like it you call me a fraud
