“Italy?” I asked peering around a corner.
“Italy?” I called again as I skipped down the hallway looking into every room I passed.
“In here!” I heard a familiar Italian accent shout. Following the voice I found myself in a kitchen filled with a pleasant aroma. I sniffed the air and smiled before making my way over to where the cute nation stood wearing a cooking apron.
“What’cha up to?” I asked leaning over his shoulder to see what he was doing.
“I’m making pasta,” He said cheerfully. “Would you like some bello?”
I giggled. It was always so adorable when he spoke in Italian. “Sure.” I chimed, spinning in circles around the kitchen, letting my skirt dance around me. “Now where are the plates-“ I began to say when suddenly I was cut off by hot lips pressed against mine. I tried to pull back in shock but all too quickly fell into the kiss. It just felt so good. When he finally pulled back I found a grinning Italy looking down at me. My cheeks turned as red as tomato sauce and my heart beat sped up about a thousand times faster having had time to realize what had just happened.
“I-Italy,” I stuttered looking at the ground. “What was-“ A slender finger was placed on my lips to silence me.
“Because ti amo bella.” Italy whispered still smiling. Gulping I glanced up at him, that’s the moment I realized something.
“So do I.”
