"Good morning you two" Janae came in the building smiling
"What's wrong with her?" Felix whispered to me
I lightly chuckled, nudging him "Good morning" I said to Janae
She went in her office and closed her door
"What's gotten into her?" Felix asked
"You mean who's gotten into her" I smirked
"...I'm confused. You fucked her?" he laughed
"No, nut" I pushed him "I set her up with Christopher"
"You the nut. Why would you do that?"
"He wanted to fuck her and she wanted to be fucked" I shrugged
"He was for you." He face palmed himself "Y'all were supposed to get together"
I smacked my lips "Me and Chris are just friends"
"Could've been more" he mumbled as I walked to the other side of the store
"I heard that" I called out to him since nobody was in the store right now

"Yo. You ready?" I asked Sean as we waited at an abandoned pier to do a transaction
"Yeah. Got yo gun?" He asked me
"Nigga you know it" I chuckled "I don't trust them niggas"
"Kevin cool wit' em though"
"Kevin ass cool wit' everybody. That nigga don't know no better"
"You got a point there. Tell me why he tried to get me to be cool wit' Nick and his folks the other day"
"Nick? That nigga from South Park?" Kevin knows we don't hang with them niggas
"Yup"
"I'ma have to talk to Kevin"
"Yeah, he getting friendly wit' rivals and shit." Sean added
"There they go." I said as a black Benz pulled up
* few hours later
"What you want? I'm at work" Eden answered the phone
"Damn, you rude." I chuckled
"Boy" she smacked her lips "Where you at?"
"Work, but me and Sean hitting up this club tonight, you wanna go?"
"No thanks. Clubs aren't my thing"
"You go out with Felix all the time"
"I've been to the club with Felix like 3 times, plus I'm doing something tonight" she said
"What you doing tonight?" I asked
"Minding my business, Christopher"
I smacked my teeth "Bye lil girl"
"Bye" she hung up
"Don't see why you don't just fuck with her" Sean shrugged
"Nigga she just my friend"
"Yeahhh" he said sarcastically
"Come on man." I chuckled "I gotta go check on these workers"
Eden
"I can't take you" Felix shook his head
"What you mean?"
"You not doing shit tonight but sleeping" he laughed
"And that's something, correct?"
"Make me sick" he shook his head "You just don't wanna get attached to him because you know you want him"
"Fe" I straight faced him
"You can't deny it" He hung some clothes on the rack
"Yes I can. Deny deny deny" I stuck my tongue out at him
"Eden, can you stay late tonight? I'm supposed to be going on with Chris to this club" Janae came from the back
Oh wow.
"Yeah, sure" I smiled
"Ok" she went back in her office
"See" Felix said "Missed your chance"
"Shut up" I squinted at him
* 12:36am
I walked up the stairs to my apartment with a few groceries. I had to stay until 12 to do some paperwork. These heels are killing me, my head is banging, and I think I'm catching a cold. I just want to go in this apartment, drink some tea, take a warm shower, and go to bed.
I jumped after opening the door "What are you doing in here?"
"Well, I know you normally get off around 10, sometimes 11, and you hadn't came home yet, so I waited for you." Chris got off the couch "Let me help you with the bags"
"I got it" I said
"Girl gimme the bags" he smacked his teeth
I let him take some and I kept some
"Thanks for making sure I was good" I said as we went into the kitchen
"No problem. Why you getting home so late?"
"Not that it's any of your business, but Janae needed me to work over so she could go to the club with you" I started putting the food up "Speaking of, shouldn't you be there?" I chuckled
"Eh, I ain't really feel like going out tonight" he shrugged, helping me
"I'm surprised"
"Why? You act like I go somewhere every night"
"Uh" I chuckled "You do"
He smacked his teeth "Whateva' big head"
"Shut-" I was cut off by a sneeze
"Bless you"
"Thanks." I put the last food item away "Christopher, how'd you get into my apartment?"
"With my handy dandy screwdriver"
"Face ass" I chuckled
"You so wack" he squinted
I began boiling my water for my tea "Want some?"
"Nah, I'm cool."
"Can you watch it for me? I'm about to go take a shower"
"I got you" he nodded

After my shower, I slipped on my sweats and a t- shirt. I took my contacts out, so I now have on my glasses.
"I found a good movie on Netflix. You tryna watch it?" He was back on the couch
"Yeah. Gimme a second" I made my tea, got some strawberries, and headed back into the living room
"What's it called?" I sat crisscrossed on the couch and put my tea and bowl of strawberries on the coffee table
"Hostel"
"Three unwary students travel to Slovakia looking for a hostel said to be brimming with wanton women, only to become objects of unimaginable torture" I read the description of the movie "Nope, find a new movie"
"Why?"
"Two words, unimaginable torture" I said
"So?" He chuckled
"Chris"
"Eden" he mocked my tone
"Turn"
"No"
"Yes"
He pressed play "Too late it's already started"
"I'm going to bed"
"No you not, you watching it wit' me"
"Tuh" I got up and was pulled right back down by my shirt
"Stop playing man. If you get scared, I'm right here. You can hold onto me all you want" he licked his lips and smirked
"Boy" I smacked my lips "Fine I'll watch it"
"I know you will" he said in a smart tone

20 minutes into the movie and I had screamed at least 7 or 8 times. Chris found it funny that I was scared. 😒
"He's about to kill her!" I nibbled on a strawberry
"Stop screaming yo" he laughed "Gimme some" he opened his moth, referring to the strawberries
"Here" I handed him the bowl
"Feed it to me, my eyes on the movie"
I picked one up and placed it between his lips. He took a bite out of it and chewed, the juice from the strawberry was dripping from his lip, but I gently wiped it away.
"Thanks" he said
"Mhm" I watched him
He is kinda cute...
