I think it's strange how a persons action can have such a devastating affect on the world. The way I see it, there's no such thing as a God, or fate, or destiny; just coincidence. It's like how the first World War started. I'm sure the guys who assassinated that Austrian archduke and his family were just expecting to go to prison or something, and they probably felt pretty guilty to figure out they were the at the core of the greatest massacre we know of (apart from maybe World War II). When John F Kennedy was assassinated, that caused some havoc, but no war. I think that's how the universe works, coincidence. That the right (sometimes wrong) thing happening at the right (sometimes wrong) time determines the future. I don't think there were any reasons for those people to do what they did, they just did it, and the consequences were pretty severe. So basically, what I'm saying is that I don't believe a greater cause for any of the things we do because there is none. You can touch and save as many lives as you want, you can be remembered for hundreds of year to come. But at some point our hearts stop beating and out brains stop thinking and we all end up as equals in the same eternal death. So I don't need to know about how the assassination of one man lead to the deaths of hundreds (mainly because I'm a pacifist) and frankly, I don't care, because I don't like to live in the past tense, but because I have my own story to tell. Present tense.
