Kenzie's P.O.V
We ended up getting Nandos for dinner because Niall had burnt the food, apparently this was such a typical occurrence with Niall. As we sat waiting for Liam and Zayn to bring the food back Louis and Niall were playing a very intense game of Call of Duty.
"Ha! Winner!" Niall cheered pumping his fist in the air and doing a little happy dance.
"Aww!" Louis whined, "It's not fair, You think your so MLG Niall!" He folded his arms and his lips turned into an unmistakable pout, it was such a cute expression and completely irresistible it gave me the urge to run over and pull him into a massive hug.
"Your just jealous of my skills." Niall said immaturely sticking his tongue out at Louis.
Louis frowned, "Your just lucky." He muttered.
"Well I am Irish." Niall stated.
I heard Harry burst into laughter from the other sofa, I looked over to see him biting his lip trying to contain his giggling. His eyes were lit up with amusement as muffled chuckles escaped, too cute. "That was a good one Niall."
"Are you high? How was that funny?" Louis asked incredulously "Anyway rematch!"He declared his eyes glinting with determination.
"Your on!" Niall cried snatching the controller and putting his "game face" on.
I had been here an hour and was already more entertained than I had been in a while.
As Niall and Louis battled it out in Team death match I snuck a glance at Harry who was browsing through his phone. I couldn't help but think he was cute sitting there in his beanie some stray curls falling in front of his amazing eyes. He was adorable. He looked up and caught me staring; great he probably thinks I'm some stalker freak now. He smiled and beckoned for me to come sit next to him. Slowly I pulled myself up off the sofa and trudged over to sit next to him, "Hey." He said cheerfully as I collapsed down next to him.
"Whatcha doing?" I asked leaning over to sneak a glance at his phone.
"Tweeting." He replied, "Keeping the fans updated on Louis and Niall's battle."
At the mention of them I looked up to see Niall once again slaughtering Louis, Louis looked extremely flustered, "Go, go!" He cried his eyebrows furrowed in concentration and his tongue poking out slightly from being overly attentive, such a cutie.
"Face it Louis, you cannot beat me!" Niall laughed triumphantly as he got another headshot.
"I can do this!" Louis cried aiming his gun but he shot to early and completely missed the final kill opportunity . "For fucks sake!" He cried stamping his foot.
"Face it Lou, Niall owned you." Harry laughed slinging his hand over the back of the couch.
"I won again!" Niall cried taking down his opponent and scoring himself the kill cam. "I told you Louis!"
Louis put his remote down, "M-My dreams, they're crushed!" He exaggerated pretending to wipe away a fake tear. "At least Kenzie is here for me!" He cried pulling me off the couch and into a massive bear hug pretending to sob into my shoulder. I was growing to love Louis hugs, they were so warm and calming.
"Don't worry Lou." I soothed patting his back.
"Aww yeah, I'm the raining Call of Duty champion!" Niall praised pumping his fists in the air and jumping on the spot, adorable.
"You wait until next time Nialler!" Louis warned lifting his head off my shoulder, "You wait!" He repeated jabbing a finger at him.
The door opened, "We come bearing food!" Zayn shouted holding take-out boxes.
"FOOD!" Niall and Louis cried grins exploding onto their faces as they ran off into the kitchen.
Oh boy, this was going to be crazy.
I looked over at Harry who was chuckling, he stuck his phone in his pocket before turning to me, "You coming?" He asked shooting me a breathtaking smile.
"Uh- Y-yes." I stammered before following him into the kitchen.
I grabbed the seat next to Liam and across from Louis, "Everything alright Kenz?" Liam asked me with a smile as he grabbed a fork.
"It's great, highly amusing actually." I laughed brushing my hair out of my eyes and piling some food onto my plate.
Zayn leaned over and whispered in my ear, "It gets way more amusing than this."
I couldn't help but blush as his breath tickled my skin, "I believe that." I whispered causing Zayn to chuckle and sit back in his chair.
"Niall beat me at Cod." Louis announced to Zayn and Liam.
Zayn and Liam's mouths fell open, "No way!" They cried.
"Mmhm!" Niall said with a mouthful of food.
"That's a first." Zayn said looking genuinely shocked.
"Shut the hell up." Louis muttered folding his arms and staring blankly at his food.
I chuckled along with the rest of the boys who found it amusing to joke around with Louis even more.
"So Kenzie." Louis said suddenly turning to face me and placing his hands on the table, "Are you a fan?"
"Yeah, kind of." I replied.
"So your not one of the crazy ones?" Zayn asked staring at me his beautiful brown eyes glimmering in the fading sunlight.
"Nope." I replied popping the p.
"Hun, after spending a week with us you will be." Louis stated, "Y'know cause were awesome."
I laughed shaking my head, "Well you guys are amusing that's for sure."
We finished eating and maybe, just maybe I thought, it wont be as bad as I thought living with the worlds favourite boy band. As long as my past doesn't catch up with me... I sat there thinking about it, how could I have been so stupid? How could I have done those things? It was such a big mistake, awful, completely unforgiveable. I could feel more tears forming but I blinked them back, no more crying I told myself for the millionth time.
"Kenzie?" A voice said snapping me out of my thoughts.
I looked up to see Louis looking down at me his eyes big and concerned, it seems Lou would always catch me before I broke down into hysterical sobs, he would always make the tears go away. "You ok?" He asked, I nodded weakly but I could tell he didn't believe me. "Come on, the lads are watching a movie." He said with a smile holding his hand out. I accepted his offer for the second time today and he hauled me out of my chair and he never let go until we were siting safely on the sofa.
I looked around the room to see One Direction sprawled out on the sofas and floor. Liam and Niall were sitting on the beanbag in front of the TV having a cute Niam cuddly moment. Zayn was laying awkwardly across the armchair his eyes focused intently on the opening credits of the show, Harry was lounged across the other sofa looking extremely tired and then there was me and Louis stretched out across the final sofa, Louis leaned back and flipped the lights off before snuggling into the blanket, "You cold?" He whispered.
"A little." I replied honestly.
He nodded his head as if to say 'scoot over' I slid down the couch until Louis and I's shoulders were touching. He put the blanket over me and instantly I was filled with warmth. The movie picked was Abduction, I'd seen it before but it had Taylor Lautner in it so I wasn't complaining. Halfway through the movie I felt a hand snake it's way around my waist, I looked up to find Louis still focusing attentively on the movie. It seemed he had grabbed my waist without even realising it, but once again I wasn't complaining.
Forty minutes later the final credits appeared on the screen and everyone started stretching and yawning. Louis looked down and blushed when he saw where his arm was, "Sorry." He mumbled awkwardly moving.
"It's alright." I smiled.
"Well I'm off to bed." Liam stated getting up, I ran over to him and gave him a hug thanking him again for being there for me. "It's alright Kenz." He smiled ruffling my hair before exiting the room.
"Yea, I'm off to bed to." Zayn announced waving to us all before walking out.
Niall gave me a hug before walking into the kitchen stating he needed food before a good nights rest.
"Hehehe." I heard Louis giggling, I turned around to find him snapping pictures of Hazza as he slept peacefully on the sofa.
"Louis, Louis, Louis." I chuckled shaking my head at him.
"Doesn't Harry look adorable when he sleeps!" Louis cooed poking Harry's dimples.
"Yeah he does." I couldn't help but say, it was true. He was a cutie when he slept. His curls falling in front of his motionless face as his chest rose and fell in a steady rhythm and especially with that beanie on, adorable!
"So, you going to bed now?" Louis asked putting his camera on the table.
In response I yawned and nodded sleepily, Louis and I walked down the hallway until we got to my room.
I opened the door and walked inside rummaging through my suitcases until I found my toothbrush I set it on the desk and turned around to find Louis leaning against the doorframe smiling softly at me. "I hope you enjoy your time here Kenzie." He said.
"I'm sure I will." I replied truthfully before walking up to close the door, "Good night." I smiled.
"See ya tomorrow." He said and I began to close the door.
"Kenzie wait!" I heard him cry, I opened the door again and he ran in and wrapped his hands around my waist pulling me close to him. I wound my hands around his broad shoulders. Loving the feeling of his strong arms crushing me to him.
"Thanks for being there for me Louis." I whispered snuggling into his shoulder.
"No problem." He whispered back, "I always will be.!"
"Thank you"
"Goodnight love." He said.
"Night Lou." And with that he walked out closing the door behind him.
I sighed and got ready for bed brushing my teeth and pulling on my pj's, I climbed under the covers and closed my eyes letting sleep take me.
I dreamed of the screaming, the endless blackness that filled my eyes and the never-ending excruciating pain. I heard her voice so disappointed and full of hate, I heard him laughing pleased by me being hit with the torment. I could feel my wrath as I stormed out, I could feel the astonishment at what I had just done, I heard him shrieking, swearing and saw him raising his fist and then the dream went black. My eyes burst open and I was breathing heavily, my hands were shaking and a cold shiver shot down my spine. I couldn't help it this time, the tears spilled down my cheeks the pain would never go away. As my tears turned into hysteria to my dismay I realised Louis wasn't here this time to make the pain go away.
