I woke up with the sunlight hitting my face and a body laying on top of me. Groaning, I moved my hair out of my face and rubbed my tired eyes. I was sleeping in an uncomfortably position with my back against the armrest. The smaller body on top of me started grumbling. I had to force myself to stand up because the opened curtains were really bothering me. But when I was just about to remove Camila's body from mine, she started groaning and peered up at me with a confused expression on her face.

When she tried to move, her face contorted into a grimace. All of a sudden, the sunlight didn't bother me much anymore. I sighed and massaged her head for her. This resulted in a sigh and a moan afterwards. She sighed, burrowing her face into the crook of my neck. And as I felt her hot breath against the side of my neck, Camila said, "My head feels like it's been hit by a hammer and then got ran over by a truck."

I scoffed, rolling my eyes at her exaggeration, "You're not the only one who's hangover you know." I kept my hand on her waist before she raised her head and pecked my forehead several times. I watched in amusement as she attacked my face with affection, "I'm sorry. Is that better now?" I smiled absentmindedly, "Much, much better." I sighed and closed my eyes.

We both lay down on the couch in a still quite uncomfortable position for a few minutes before she let out another annoyed groan. "Seriously though, my headache is killing me right now." I pursed my lips and picked up Camila to lay her down on the couch comfortably. I've gotten used to hangovers and they don't bother me much anymore but Camila rarely drinks. I walked towards the kitchen and spotted a glass of water and ibuprofen on the counter. I mentally thanked whoever was kind enough to do this.

I noticed there was a note beside it so I picked it up in my hands and read it.

Heyo! You guys are probably hammered right now and you might need this. If you don't remember what happened last night, you were both completely wasted and I had to drive you guys all the way here. Ally's probably gonna get a killer hangover too and it might have been partially my fault. But anyways, when you get your asses ready, be sure to repay me cause none of this service is free.

Sincerely,

Beyonce (A.K.A. Dinah)

P.S. I totally don't have pictures that can serve as blackmail in my phone by the way.

I stared blankly at the note for a moment before throwing it to the nearby trashcan. It's too early for this shit. I take the glass of water in my hands and popped the ibuprofen in my mouth. I refilled the glass and walked back towards the living room with the medicine and water in my hands. When I saw Camila, she was laying comfortably on the couch with one hand hanging by the side of the couch and one hand covering her eyes.

I giggled underneath my breath, nudging her with my knee. Camila groaned, peeking from her hand. "I regret drinking that much alcohol." She said and hoisted herself up to an upright position. I smirked, sitting down on the couch beside her. I handed her the glass of water and ibuprofen. I watched as she swallowed the ibuprofen and finished the glass of water.

I took it from her hands and put them down on the coffee table.

Camila then cuddled up to me, resting her head against my chest and closing her eyes. She began humming the familiar tune of 'Somewhere Only We Know' and I had to bite my lip to prevent myself from smiling like an idiot. I ran my hand up and down her arm in a relaxing way. After a few minutes, wriggled out of my tight hold and stood up grumpily.

"I'm just going to take a short shower 'cause I feel really icky right now." Scrunching up her nose adorably, she smiled. I pecked her lips before letting her go inside the bathroom. "Okay, I'm just going to give Dinah a call." I said and she nodded her head, discarding her clothes on the way in. I grabbed my phone on the coffee table and dialed Dinah's number. After a few seconds, she answered and all I heard was a loud groan. "Allycat, you really shouldn't drank that much." The Polynesian's loud voice said through the phone, making me lift my eyebrows in amusement when I heard a loud slap afterwards. "You made me drink all of that because of a stupid bet, Dinah."

"Well you should have at least refused." Dinah retorted. "You would have made me do something much worse if I backed out." Ally hissed at the younger girl and i snorted. "Oh shit, hey Laur. How's the hangover going?" I couldn't help but smile as I hear Ally shouting at Dinah. "Horrible, but a little better now. Camz is in the shower right now and she's probably going to the library again. I'm thinking of going with her to study, what about you guys?" I propped my feet up on the armrest.

I heard rustling from the other line before Dinah said, "Sure, I'll call Mani and we'll come by in two hours. Those textbooks intimidate me and I'll probably need help from two geniuses like you and Camila." Dinah laughed. "Well, bye see you later. Ally has been scolding me for half an hour now." Dinah said. I said goodbye and then hang up. Soon, I heard the bathroom door open and my girlfriend went out with only a towel wrapped around her body. I smirked, standing up to face her.

"You're going to the library, right?" I asked, circling my arms around her waist and hugging her to my chest. The girl laughed, trying to wriggle out of my hold. "Mhm, why are you asking?" She peered up at me with a small smile. "Well, why don't I come with you. You don't want to tutor the girls alone do you?" I smirked, squeezing her tighter. She squealed. "Seriously? They're actually considering studying?" Camila looked baffled.

"Let's go get ready before they actually change their minds." I playfully smacked her butt and watched as Camila glared at me jokingly while heading inside our bedroom to change into her clothes.

After getting ready, I drove us to the library and we spent the whole way bantering playfully and nudging each other. We took a seat in the far corner of the library so there wont be anybody that will disturb us. It didn't take long for the girls to arrive and we spent the whole day actually studying for the finals and messing with the old librarian.

"What? You're actually going to host a graduation party? In my apartment?!" I asked Normani who just shrugged. "In our apartment." I heard Camila correct. Normani looked at me pleadingly and I crossed my arm. "Nuh uh. Ain't happening." I shook my head with my arms still crossed. "Why not?" Dinah groaned with a pout. Ally gave her a scolding look, silently telling her not to cause a fuss in the library.

"Well one reason is that I've learned that when you guys host a party, the place always ends up completely trashed." Normani and Dinah simultaneously rolled their eyes at my reasoning. "If that's the case, then we're just going to help you guys clean up your apartment. That won't be a problem now, would it?" Normani bribed with an eager look on her face. "If you don't want us to use your apartment then we can just-"

"Shhh, shut up Smallz. Let the professionals talk." Dinah covered Ally's mouth with her hand. "Professionals, huh?" I raised an eyebrow in a challenging way. "Well, the two of us throws the best parties here in NYU after all." The Polynesian puffed out her chest in a playfully arrogant manner. I told them the rules that they should follow if they're going to throw a part at Camila and I's apartment. And one of them is, to never go inside our bedroom.

"I'd rather not go to the party though." Camila said, her eyes still focused on the textbooks in front of her. "Yeah, honestly. If you guys are going to use our apartment, then you will clean our apartment yourselves. Without. Us." I said the last words deeply, with my teeth gritted. But then when Camila finally paid attention to our conversation, her head snapped up and her eyes narrowed at the three of them. "I swear if one of my instruments break because of you guys..." Her voice was menacing, terrifying even. And I learned the hard way to never mess with her instruments.

Dinah, Ally and Normani exchanged unsure look before gulping and nodding furiously. "We'll be sure to lock your bedroom door so that no one will get in. Nobody wants to find out whatever freaky stuff you guys have in there." Dinah shivered, making me scoff at her ridiculousness. "Yeah, yeah whatever." I threw a small textbook towards her, to which she just swatted away with her hand. Dinah stuck her tongue out at me.

"You guys are such children." Camila muttered, shaking her head mockingly at us.

_

"I can't believe we're about to graduate in a few hours!" Camila squeals excitedly while jumping around shamelessly in her underwear. I couldn't help but chuckle and lean my shoulder against the wall as I watch her in amusement. "You're ridiculous." I said, playfully shaking my head. Camila abruptly stopped jumping around before turning around to me. She raised an eyebrow, "I expected you to be more turned on but apparently not. I see how it is."

I snorted, walking towards her slowly. "Well, I mean, the sight is definitely nice. It's just the sight of you squealing while jumping around the room in your underwear without shame is what dampens my mood." I clarified, earning a gasp and shove from her. I smiled and wrapped my arms around her bare waist, pulling her closer to my chest. She had her hands laying on my chest. "Stop being so mean to me. It's graduation day and you're treating me like this? After I played with your body like one of my instruments last night and made music with-"

My face turned red like a tomato. I was shocked my her vulgar words Before she could finish what she was saying, I covered her mouth with my hand. "I was just kidding, geez..." I sighed out. The corners of my girlfriend's eyes crinkled in happiness, which was the only indication that she was smiling behind my hand.

I removed my hand seconds later. Chuckling, she laid her head against my chest. I sighed happily, nuzzling my cheeks against her hair. "I know. I'm just teasing you. But on a more serious note, I'm just really happy." I hummed in acknowledgement and nuzzled deeper. A comfortable silence engulfed the two of us. I've always loved how silence was never awkward with the two of us. We've known each other for years, and we don't need words to express how much we appreciate and love each other. We can spend an hour around each other without speaking and I'll still enjoy it because I know that she's right there beside me always and she doesn't need to say a word for me to know.

And these years we've spent together was just pure bliss. From petty fights to making up, I can't help but love every second that we spent together, even the time we weren't together yet. It just reminds me that she never gave up, that we both never gave up on each other. It was a wild ride but it was worth it with Camila beside me, because we both know that our medicine were each other. We were both broken but we're each other's light. We guide each other through the darkness.

"What're you thinkin' about, Lo?" She hummed against my chest, making my heart flutter at her close proximity. "Nothing, just reminiscing." I said. Camila raised her head up to look at me and flashed me a radiant smile that left me breathless. With my mouth agape, I pulled her closer and placed small kisses on her bare shoulders. "You're so breathtaking." I muttered against her smooth skin, nipping at it occasionally and soothing it with my tongue.

I heard a strangled moan come from her mouth, and I grinned against her skin. Her hands tugged on my hair. I pecked her reddening skin before raising my head once again. I was met with the sight of Camila breathing raggedly. "Jesus Christ, don't do that. You're going to give me a heart attack." Putting a hand against where her heart lays, she breathed out. I grinned devilishly, "I don't think that's what you were thinking."

Camila giggled and rolled her eyes. "Seriously though, we need to get ready now." She stood on her tip toes and pecked my forehead. I smiled, brushing away the bangs covering her pretty face. "Okay then, I can't wait to see you in your black dress." I detached myself from her. "I can't wait to see you in your dress too babe." She says.

After an hour or so, I finished getting ready. The girls were about to arrive in our apartment and Camila is just in the bathroom trying on her dress now. I already had my dress on and my purple graduation gowns were just laying on the bed. I started humming as I waited for Camila to come out from the bathroom. As I was waiting, I examined myself once more in the mirror. I only wore minimal makeup and red lipstick. Then seconds later, the door opened and I was completely blown away.

I stood there with my eyes roaming her body clad in her black dress while she stood there bashfully, with her hands together behind her back. Her cheeks were flaming red as she avoided my roaming gaze. And like everytime, I was completely taken aback by her beauty without her even trying and just standing there. I walked over to her and pulled her for a slow, passionate kiss. She softly gasped then reciprocated the gesture, softly massaging my bottom lip with hers.

The lack of oxygen forced us to separate. Biting my lip, I caressed her face with the pad of my thumb. Camila gazed back at me with so much intimacy. "What was that for?" She asks, catching her breath. "You were just too beautiful, I couldn't help myself." I breathed out, my voice cracking at the end. We were just about to lean in to kiss once again when another booming voice shouted.

"We can just go if we're interrupting your moment." Normani shouted teasingly at us to catch our attention. Camila and I whipped our head to the direction of the voice and there stood Ally, Dinah and Normani in their gowns. They wore their dresses underneath the purple graduation gowns. I coughed awkwardly and straightened out my dress before walking towards our bed and getting Camila and I's gowns. I handed hers to her and we both put it on.

I pecked her forehead once more and walked towards our friends who wouldn't stop teasing us about the steamy moment we had together. Camila was blushing like crazy while smacking Dinah on her shoulders repeatedly. Normani and Ally laughed hysterically as they watched. I couldn't help but appreciate them for being here. It's always nice having friends there to support you and make you laugh, you know?

"What time does the ceremony start?" Ally questioned. Normani opened her phone and said, "Not until an hour." Ally turned towards us, smiling brightly like the sunshine she is, "What do you guys wanna do to kill time until the ceremony starts?" Ally said. I shrugged, "Let's just talk for a bit. I don't think we ever talked about what we think is gonna happen after we graduate."

"You're a genius, babe." Camila praised, clapping her hands. We all agreed and sat in a small circle in the center of the room. I had Camila's hand intertwined with mine as I ran my thumb over her knuckles soothingly. "So who's gonna start?" Dinah asked as she adjusted her gown. "Ooh! Ooh! I wanna start." Ally said excitedly and raised her hand like a child. This caused all of us to laugh in amusement.

"Go on Smallz."

"Well, as you guys may know, I love cooking and I wanna be a chef. I think I might want to start working at a restaurant somewhere, I don't know where yet, but somewhere where I can express my love for cooking. With that job, I'm going to start saving up my own money to start my own restaurant." Ally voiced out as if she was dreaming of the future. We were about to comment something when Ally said something unexpected, "And maybe also settle down..." It was so quiet we barely even heard it.

This caught the four of us surprised and we couldn't stop teasing the small girl. "Hmm, if that happens some time in the future, he has to go through me first before he dates you." Dinah teased, putting the smaller girl in a playful headlock. Ally groaned and shoved her away, laughing. "He needs our approval first, of course." I said, earning a small laugh from the girl.

"Stop it guys." She groaned, hiding her face away in her hands. Normani and Camila high-fived each other as they laughed. "Seriously though Ally, we know you can reach your dream." Dinah encouraged the smaller girl. "Before things get out of hand, who wants to go next?" Ally cuts off our teasing. Normani made a thinking face before raising her hand, "Me!"

"Go on, Manibear." Ally pretended to pass on the mic to Mani who gratefully took it. The dancer cleared her throat and said, "I wanna start my own dance studio. A dance studio where anybody is welcome. I wanna meet other dancers that share the same passion as me. I want to start a dance studio where anybody can tell their own story through their dance."

"That's great, Mani." Camila praised her. They gave each other fist bumps and made an explosion noise after. I chuckled at their antics. Such children, I swear. "Aye, Manibear!" Ally and Dinah gave her a high-give. "We hope you the best, Mani." I say, smiling brightly at the older girl. Normani raised thumbs up, grinning widely.

"I'm going next." Dinah says, flashing us a dopey smile. Ally and Normani was beside Dinah so they leaned against her, sandwiching the Polynesian between them. I glanced at the smaller brunette beside me with an adoring smile. Camila was smiling so happily as she listened to the girls bicker, that her dimples were showing. Just seeing her like that made me want to kiss her adorable cheeks, so I did. She turned her head to me, surprised. I just shrugged with a smirk before averting my attention to Dinah.

"You guys know how much I love musicals and Broadway. After we graduate, I'm going to start going to auditions. And ya'll probably see me soon getting my first Tony Award so..." She sassily flipped her hair, causing it to smack against Ally's face. The smaller girl gasped and got the hair out of her mouth. "Dinah!" Ally shrieked. "If you and Mila need help with choreography, call me." Normani winked, making a call sign with her hand. "Hell yeah we're gonna call you." Camila said.

"Good luck, DJ." I grinned at the tall girl. "So I guess I'm next." I laughed, scratching the back of my neck sheepishly. I looked down at Camila and I's hands that were intertwined together before looking up at her and smiling. "My aunt has a workshop around in California so I'll probably going to start working there. We're close and she's one of the reasons that I wanted to pursue this career. I'm grateful towards her." I say, playing with the carpet underneath me mindlessly. "Oh and I'll dabble into art here and there."

"I'm so proud of you, baby." Camila praises, leaning to peck my temples. I grin, taking her bottom lip between mine for a few seconds before separating. "You'll do great, Lo." Ally sent me an encouraging smile. "I'm so happy you've gone this far, Lo. Even if I haven't known you for that long, I'm so proud of you." Normani leaned over and gave me a tight hug. I giggled, burrowing my face between her neck. "Thanks for being there, Mani." Normani pecked my forehead before separating. "Love you."

"I love you too, Mani."

"I'm next!" Camila giggled happily. "Simon gave me a chance, which I'm grateful for. I'm going to call him after I take a break and after we all enjoy our time together. I'm ready and I'm not going to waste this chance anymore. And just remember Cheechee, before you can even win a Tony Award, I probably would have won a Grammy by then." I heard Dinah let out an offended gasp. "Excuse me? We'll see then." They sent each other challenging smirks.

"Okay, enough." Ally pulled them apart, laughing.

"We're all going to be so busy in the future and we wont have the time to hang out all the time. We'll probably travel all the time so let's promise each other one thing, let's keep in touch and once we have time to spend together, let's not think twice to call each other up." Ally says as she wiped the tears that were about to fall from her eyes. I sent her a sympathetic smile as I rubbed her back comfortingly. Gratefully, Ally hugged me tightly.

"Hey, Ally, don't cry. We promise to keep in touch with each other." Camila assures the girl and hugged her from behind. She nuzzled Ally. "Honestly, Smallz, you know we can't avoid each other for that long. It's like the five of us are attached to the hips." Dinah pointed out. She leaned towards Ally, giving her a hug also. "Dinah's right." Normani laughs and joins the hug.

After that emotional moment, we consoled each other and talked about the most random things but then we only had thirty minutes left before the ceremony starts. We took one last look at the mirror to see our appearance and then we walked outside. Ally's car was outside ready for us. The five of us went inside the car while Ally sat in the front, driving us.

"Let's go and do our thing!" Dinah whooped.

"Dinah, it's a graduation ceremony, not a party." Ally reprimanded.

_

After the ceremony ended, I promised my family that I'll go visit them at their hotel because I was 'tired'. I might have been lying when I told them that I was tired. The girls were just getting ready for the party they were going to have here. So here I am, inside Camila and I's room, contemplating about this serious decision. Camila was outside, talking to Ally while Normani and Dinah got the place ready.

I walked towards the bookshelf and got my favorite book. Behind it, I hid the small velvet box so I would be able to remember where I hid it. I blew a nervous breath and ran a hand through my hair. I've been thinking about it this whole month, contemplating if we were both ready enough to do this. I, for myself, am sure that I'm ready to take this step. What if she says no? I don't think I can handle that. I sat down on the bed with the box in my hands, playing around with it.

The girls still don't know that I bought this ring but I had a close friend of mine help me with it. Opening my phone, I dialed Ashley's number with shaking nervous hands. The phone's ringing was the only sound that can be heard in the room besides my heavy breathing. In didn't take long for my friend Ashley to answer the call. "Hey, Laur. What's got you so nervous? I can literally hear your breathing from here." She says, laughing.

I rolled my eyes, "I swear to god if I have a panic attack I'm going to blame you. I'm about to pass out while you're having the time of your life there. I hope you know that you're the one who persuaded me to do this when I told you that I wanted to propose." After I said, that I swear I could see her smirk from here, "Aha, so it's about wifey huh? Seriously, what's got your panties in a twist? You're just proposing. The girl adores you so much. She looks at you like you put the stars in the sky. Do you really think she would say no?"

"I mean, if she says no, I don't know what's going to happen after and I don't even want to think about it. I've been hurt enough and I don't think I can handle it anymore." I gazed at the velvet box with uncertainty. I heard Ashley sigh, then shuffling, "Lo, calm down. You guys are basically a married couple already. Don't you think it's the right time to make it official already? You've been together for almost four years. I'm not trying to persuade you to propose to her or anything, my opinions doesn't really matter. If you think the both of you are ready then go for it." Sighing, I opened the red velvet box and gazed at the beautiful silver ring.

As I gazed down at the ring, a small smile started to appear on my lips. Just the thought of us getting married one day makes me ecstatic and I haven't even proposed yet. I was broken out of my thoughts when somebody knocked on the door. I immediately closed the box and hid it in my pocket. "Lo? Are you okay in there?" I heard my girlfriend's familiar voice say through the wooden door.

"It's Camila." I whispered to Ashley.

"I'm fine! I'll be outside in a minute!" I shouted for her to hear. Then I heard two muffled voices talking behind the door that I wasn't able to hear before Camila answered back, "Well, okay then. I'm just here talking to the girls about the consequences if they fuck up." I muffled a chuckle with my hand. Then more hushed whispers. "Okay then, babe. Don't worry about me!" I answered. I waited for a response but no response came, instead I heard footsteps slowly getting quieter. After she was gone, I exhaled a breath I didn't notice I was holding.

"I'm glad I locked the door for once." I joked, brushing strands of hair away from my face. I crossed my legs and mindlessly gazed outside the window. "Your ass got lucky. She was one step away from finding out so you better make up your mind now. You've got a date with her tonight." I rolled my eyes at her response, "Yeah, yeah I know. But seriously, I'm really grateful towards you. You helped me pick out the ring and made me think hard about it. So thank you, really."

"Stop flattering me. I just want you happy after all the shit you've been through. I'm positive you're not going to fuck things up. I believe in you." I chuckled. Ashley chuckled too. "Well, at least you're supportive. Anyways, I gotta go. Camila's waiting for me. You better visit here before the girls and I start acting like grown ups."

Then I heard loud laughter from the other line. "Grown ups? When have all of you ever acted like grown ups? But yeah, I promise I'm going to visit. Talk to ya later, Lo."

"Bye, Ashley." I hung up and tucked my phone in my pocket before standing up. Smiling blissfully, I put my hand inside the pocket of my hoodie, feeling the velvet box. I let my excitement out by squealing like an excited little girl. I calmed myself down and then opened the door and went outside. There was a whole lot of booze in the kitchen and junk foods laying around the room. The couch and other furniture was pushed to the side to create a makeshift dance floor. And somewhat, there were lights everywhere.

The speaker was blaring with soft music and the girls were just laying around the couch. Camila sat on the floor under Normani because there was no more room in the couch. Grinning, I walked towards them and crouched in front of Camila. I pushed her cheeks together with my two hands, making her look like a fish. "Come on, we got a date tonight. Let's leave them be." I said. As I said those words, the girl's eyes lit up, "Really? Where?" She asks, brushing her thumb against on my hands on her cheeks.

"That's a secret." I winked. She pouted before relenting. "Fine. After all, your surprises are quite pleasant." Giggling, she nuzzled her nose against my palm. I chuckled. I pinched her nose softly and stood up, extending my hand towards her. She took it and stood up beside me. "Well, girls. Camila and I are going out for a bit. Just remember to clean it up after." I reminded them. I took Camila's hands in mine and walked to the door. "Roger that!" Dinah and Normani saluted mockingly. shaking my head, I lead my girlfriend outside our apartment.

I opened the door for her before jogging to the other side and starting up the car. It was nighttime already. The roads were still busy but it was dark outside. Streetlamps were on and it illuminated the road. Camila didn't know where I was taking her so I'm surprised she isn't asking me about it now. She was quietly smiling to herself as she looked outside the window, humming to herself. "Why aren't you asking about where I'm taking you?" I briefly turned to look at her before snapping my head back to the road. She giggled to herself, "I like to be surprised. Unless you're kidnapping me then..."

I shook my head, chuckling. I smiled and rested my hand on her thigh and gave it a squeeze, "Of course not. I'm taking you somewhere familiar." My hand stayed there for the rest of the ride. And at one point, Camila slid her hand together with mine.

It didn't take long until we reached the destination. The abandoned building was dark. I heard Camila gasp before turning to me with an excited grin, "You're taking me here again? It's honestly so beautiful up there at night. I can't wait to stargaze with you." She leaned over the console and kissed me. Sighing, I lifted a hand up, caressing her cheek with my hand. My girlfriend's hand were planted against my cheeks, stroking it carefully. Soon, I felt her tongue probe my lip, making me give her entrance.

Our tongues met each other in a familiar dance, enjoying the intimacy. She explored the familiar taste of my mouth as I did with hers. Slowly, one of her hand moved to my chin, taking control of the intimate kiss. I couldn't help but let out a suppressed moan against her mouth. My hands moved to her hips, lifting her up over the console and onto my lap. After that, she encircled my neck with her arms, softly playing with my baby hairs as we kissed.

Camila moaned as my lips descended to her neck, and suckled, bit and licked it until multiple hickeys formed. She was basically grinding on my thigh by now but I have to stop it before it can go too far. I have a date planned for her. "Babe, we gotta stop." I breathed against her lip with our forehead against each other. Slowly, she opened her eyes and gazed into mine intimately. Camila was breathing heavily as she spoke, "I don't want to." It was such a quiet whisper but enough to be heard.

I chuckled and nuzzled my face against her neck, kissing the hickeys that I made. I caressed her hips with my thumb. "Honestly, I don't want to as well but I have a date planned for us." Sighing, Camila removed her arms around my neck and moved them to my hands that were now on her thighs. "Fine." She pouted adorably. Giggling, I pecked her nose and then opened the door for her.

She got off my lap and got out of the car. Then she held out a hand for me to which I gratefully took and stepped out of the car. I kissed her hand but didn't let go. I locked the car doors and tugged her to the building. "The security guards don't usually work at this day, only at certain days. So I figured this would be perfect since nobody is there to interrupt us." I grinned.

"Adorable." She whispered as if she was in daze but I didn't hear it. "Did you say something?" I asked and swung our hands between us as we walked the stairs. "Nothing. Just thinking about how lucky I am." Camila says, making me blush profusely. I looked down at my feet bashfully. "I'm the lucky one." I mumbled to myself with a pout. "What was that?"

"Hehe, nothin'."

I opened the metal door for her and pulled her to walk to the picnic I had set out for us. The two of us couldn't help but revel at the beauty of the night sky at this high. The stars were twinkling quite brightly and the city was still bustling at this hour. The buildings illuminated the areas with beautiful lights. We could also see the Manhattan Bridge from up here.

"Come on," I tugged her hand, pulling her to the blanket and sitting us down. She straightened up her skirt before sitting down while I was already sitting on it. I set up colorful lights around us and most of them were hanging on the metal railings. There was a picnic basket full of food beside us and even wine. There was also a speaker set out for us but no music playing. "So what do you think?" I questioned excitedly as Camila was still admiring the beauty and simplicity of it all. "It's perfect." She sighed, looking towards me with admiration.

"Really? I'm so happy." Tilting my head to the side with a small smile. Camila blushed and ducked her head down, hiding her blush. Silently, I took her hands in mine, stroking them with my hand. "Are you happy?" I shyly asked, looking up at her through my eyelashes. Camila was taken aback by my sudden question but she didn't hesitate to answer. "So, so happy." Her eyes showed certainty and she wasn't lying.

"That's good." I grinned brightly and removed my hands just to open the basket to show her the food I got for us. There was only dessert here. "I got them ready for us. I also have a little surprise for you." Camila tilted her head to the side like a confused puppy with a small smile. There was supposed to be a large pizza box under the blanket, also under the basket. I lifted the basket and flipped the blanket to get the pizza box.

Camila gasped, her hand flying to her mouth in surprise. "You know me so well." she laughed, excitedly holding her hand out for a piece. I laughed at her adorableness and got a paper plate for her with pizza. I handed it to her and she immediately dug in, moaning at the taste. "This is the best." The brunette muttered with a mouthful of pizza. Laughing, I lifted a hand up and swiped the cheese at the corner of her mouth.

"Well, I try my best." I shrugged with a smirk. Camila lifted a hand up to cover her mouth as she swallowed. "Thank you, then." With one hand steadying her, she leaned and kissed my cheek loudly. Grinning, I leaned against the railing and motioned for her to sit between my legs. She put the the plate and crawled towards my lap. The brunette turned her back to my front and leaned against me. She immediately found my hands, making me wrap them around her waist securely. As she sighed, she nuzzled the crook of my neck.

I rubbed my cheek against her head. "Hey," Camila whispered, joining our hand together while they were still around her waist. "Hmm?" I hummed as I opened my eyes to look her in the eyes. "What do you think is gonna happen to us in the future?" Her voice was quiet, almost inaudible. "What's going to happen in the future, huh?" I mused in a sing-song voice, looking up the sky.

"Well, I'd like to think that one day, we adopt our very own puppy. I've always wanted a puppy." I uttered distractedly, eliciting a small laugh from the woman in my arms. "You're already a puppy though." She commented, kissing my neck softly. Pouting, I cradled her head in my arms, keeping her close to my chest. "Whatever." I rolled my eyes.

"And we're both successful, working our dream jobs. I'm a successful photographer and painter while you're a Grammy winning artist. And we would buy our own house and-" I ran a nervous hand through my hair, as my voice became shaken up. "And?" Camila encouraged, running a soothing hand through my hair as she looked up at me. "And we're married. In the future, we'll have our own beautiful children that we will love and take care of." Camila's face brightened up with a vibrant smile.

"And- and I think it's time that we take that step now."

"Have children?" Camila joked as she tilted her head to the side. "No!" I laughed, slapping her shoulder softly. "Maybe in the future but one step at a time." I got the box in my hoodie's pocket and showed it towards her. She was sitting on my lap, facing me by now with her arms around my neck as she gasped in surprise. I snaked one hand up around her waist, pulling her closer as I showed her the ring inside the box.

"I- I don't think I can imagine myself being with somebody else other than you because you're the only person meant for me. The only person I think of every second of the day. You're my everything and I don't know what I would do without you. Thank you so much for loving me, for being patient with me, for forgiving me and for just being there for me. My life took a better turn when I met you again, and I cherished every second that I spent with you." I took a deep breath and looked up to see her reaction. Her hand were covering her mouth in shock, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.

I swiped a tear that escaped her eyes with a giggle and let my hand just caress her cheeks lovingly after. "I'm positive that I want to spend every second of my life with you. Just like you said, you're the sun to my moon. You're my light, we're each other's light. So what do you say? Marry me?" I asked timidly. At some point in my speech, my eyes started to glisten up with tears too.

"Oh my God..." The brunette giggled as tears started to fall freely from her eyes. She hid her face from me with her hands as she cried. "Look at me, crying like a little child." Sniffling, Camila whispered. "Don't hid your face, I'm crying too." I giggled. I pulled her hands away from her face to admire her beauty. My future fiancée's nose and cheeks were red from crying but she still had a gigantic smile on her face.

"So, what do you say, beautiful?" I grinned brightly at her. Before I can even comprehend what's happening, she through her arms around me and latched our lips together in a passionate kiss. "Yes, yes, yes!" She kept muttering against my lips as we kissed. I let out a hearty laugh when she covered my face with kisses.

"I love you so much." I muttered against her head as we embraced each other like our life depended on it. "I love you too, so much." My shirt was wet from her tears.

"Thank you for giving me this chance, Camz."

THE END

A/N: Well, would ya look at that? I actually finished it! I honestly didn't know where I would take this story from the start but hey, I think I ended this pretty good. I'd probably edit the first chapters of the story in the future but I'm working on a new book for now. At first, I originally planned for the story to only have 12 chapters. I am happy that I got this far though. Thank you for reading this story and I hoped you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing this book! I hope you'll read my other books in the future once I start working on it! Bye-bye for now!
