Everything is black. I can't feel anything, why is that?
I hear distant sirens and muffled voices and yells, as if I'm underneath a pile of blankets.
I open my eyes only a little, but everything is blurry and distorted.
I can't move either, like my body is numb or something. I stare up only to see 7 body figures hovering above me, staring down at me.
If I were any other normal person, I would've wanted to get away from them and run to safety.
But I'm not any normal person. Instead I feel safe, comfort. I want to hug them, cry on each of their shoulders, I want to feel their presence close to me. I feel like if they left me or disappear from my sight, I would breakdown.
I close my eyes again and wonder,
Why do I need them here?
Why do I feel like they're important?
Those thoughts keep running through my head as my eyelids begin to feel heavy.
No, I can't fall asleep yet! Please, let me spare a glance at their faces!
My body was more powerful than my mind. I couldn't do anything, so I let it be. At the last moment before I pass out, I realize.............
