(A/N: This scenario is requested by thegabbysaurus. First time writing this and I wasn't sure if this is how it will turn out to be because I writing this was pretty challenging but I hope this would go well. As always, I hope you guys enjoy this scenario and happy reading! ^^)
Today is yet another day that work has to be done with a bit of scolding coming from one of the higher ups when some of our rookie cadets, who somehow managed to join our regimen, were slacking off during clean up duty and Monday morning exercises.
Since Levi didn't like it not one bit, they punished those who were slacking off by having them clean the female and male restrooms for a week.
Sigh, classic Levi.
But that's not all that I've noticed because apparently, I was able to discover a new side of the twins though I wasn't sure if I was correct and it happened a few hours ago while I was on break from cleaning duty and lunch time.
--------
Cleaning duty was quite hectic especially with everyone's assigned schedule. The time right now is about 10 in the morning and it looks like it's my turn to clean today with a couple of my friends from the 104th cadet corp.
"Aghh, cleaning duty again and-Ah! And I'm hungry!", said Sasha as she held her stomach.
"Shh! You don't want the higher ups to hear you, right? Otherwise you might end cleaning the female and male bathrooms within a week if you keep that up and you know what's worse? You might not have a chance to eat too!", said Connie as he warned the potato girl.
"A-AH, you're right, Connie!", Sasha exclaimed as she grabbed a nearby broom and started cleaning.
I slightly laughed at the two of them and suddenly, my eyes widened when I totally forgot to bring my handkerchief with me.
"Oh no. Connie, I'll be right back! I think I forgot my handkerchief inside the office", I said as I ran off quickly.
Connie seemed to hear and just yelled at a far distance, "Okay! Make sure to come back before Sasha starts snatching food in the mess hall-Oh wait, did I said that our loud? Dammit!".
--------
I finally arrived at the office but what I didn't expect is that Commander Erwin, Levi and other higher ups were having a meeting and it looks like I came here in the wrong time.
"O-Oh, uh, I'm sorry for intruding-"
"Don't worry, (Y/N)".
Erwin spoke calmly and smiled at me saying, "The meeting is over. We're about to take our leave so please do excuse us, Cadet Ackerman".
I blushed when Erwin said my last name and for some reason, I can't help but feel good whenever someone calls me that last name.
"S-Sure, whatever you say, Commander!", I said and saluted.
The higher ups went out first and before Commander Erwin will leave the office, the door of the bedroom was opened and it revealed to be one of the twins-oh wait, it's both.
Their eyes brighten and when Commander Erwin noticed their presence, he smiled and crouched down to their level saying, "Oh, hello there, Isabelle and Leon. Both of you are growing so far and I'm sure Levi taught you somethings I believe-"
"Commander Eyebrows!"
The room went silent like there's death in the air and the three of us (Erwin, Levi and I) went silent when we heard Erwin's very own nickname that Levi mutters when he's not around.
Wait a second.
"C-Commander Eyebrows?", said Erwin and his smile apparently seemed to stay there but it looks like he's forcing it to stay as it is.
The twins laughed and ran to him just to give him a big hug. Erwin hugged them back and patted their backs awkwardly from what just happened.
My eyes shifted to Levi and apparently, when our eyes met, he startled and fiddled with his cravat while making a fake cough.
--------
It's been a few hours since I heard the twins called Erwin, Commander Eyebrows.
To be honest, it was a bit funny but Levi was quite embarrassed when he saw his own children calling him that right in front of him especially when we're around.
Whatever made them say that might've been when they either heard Levi saying it out of the blue whenever he's mumbling to himself while doing paperwork or maybe they're just like him.
I sighed and for some reason, I was curious on what they're going to do next.
I get the feeling they'll say something that is pretty much what Levi would say but I don't want to assume it because otherwise it might come true.
I finally finished my duties and it looks like it's lunch break. Finally, better meet up with Levi and the twins!
I ran across the headquarters trying to find where my own family is and for some reason, it's like I couldn't find them.
Just when I was about to check Levi's office, I felt two arms wrapped around my body and two more pairs of arms were wrapped around my legs.
I squealed and when I turned around, Levi and the twins were hugging me from behind.
"A-Ah!! There you are!", I exclaimed and laugh.
Levi gently kissed my neck tenderly before letting go while the twins let go of the hug.
"Yeah, sorry about that. I had a word with the twins, (Y/N)", he said as he looked at them.
The twins were smiling but for some reason, I could've have sworn I saw guilt in their eyes.
Uh oh, could it be about what happened earlier?
The four us went inside the mess hall and each of us held the hand of the one of the twins.
"I told them to have some manners whenever they speak in front of the Commander but don't worry, they swore that they won't do it again and good thing, I wasn't that mad when I spoke to them. Sigh, this is the first time I ever witness this sort of behavior from the twins. I wish I could've taught them better", Levi whispered to my ear while walking towards our table.
"I understand but that's good to hear at least. I hope nothing weird is gonna happened next-Oh, wait. Best not to say anything about it, haha", I reassured him as I squeezed his hand.
Levi gave me a quick smile before we settle ourselves down on our own table.
"Hmm. I wonder what's on the menu today", said Levi as he looked at the menu from the distance, "Hey precious, I'll be right back. Watch over the twins for me, okay?".
I smiled with a nod and Levi kissed my cheek before approaching the assigned cook for this week.
Before I was about to gaze at the twins and speak to them, Hanji was strolling in the middle of the hallway with Erwin and Mike following her behind.
Just when I was about to greet Hanji, the twins automatically stood up from their seat and what they said next made my jaw drop.
"Good morning, auntie four eyes!"
My life is done. So done that I could've sworn I saw Levi twitching from the distance which I may assume that he must've heard it from there.
"Twins, what are you saying!? Remember what your father said?", I muttered as I tried to get them back in their seats.
Hanji heard their calling and for some reason when she heard that nickname, she was rather unsure whether to think this is something cute or rather a weird dream.
Before I could tell them not to call her that in front of people, Hanji was able to approach us and her smile was a bit wide which is a bit forced.
"Good morning! My, the twins are really little Levis, no? I guess my prediction was true", said Hanji as she tilted her glasses.
"B-But, I'm really sorry for their uncertain behavior! You must've been surprised too", I retorted and lowered my head.
"Huh? It's pretty much okay with me and they even added "Auntie" before that nickname which I find it quite adorable!", she said.
Haha, at least that's a plus, right? Right?
I tried to calm myself down and before I could at least get a cup of tea or something to calm myself down, Levi finally came back and he was frowning slightly.
"A-Ah, I must go back to my table. Erwin might be looking for me so bye for now, (Y/N)!", Hanji said before Levi could catch her or spotted her.
Levi sat beside me and placed down the tray of our breakfast with a sigh while the twins are pretty much looking at the food with curiosity.
"Twins", said Levi as he tried to stay calm and his eyebrow was twitching.
Oh no, I guess I should've prepared myself for this.
"I never knew you had the guts to say that in front of her"
Wait, what?
My mouth was opened and Levi ruffled both of the twins heads with his warm hands.
"What do you mean? You're not mad at them for calling Hanji with that kind of nickname?", I asked with confusion.
He looked at me with a hint of curiosity in his bluish gray eyes and said, "Not really at first. I thought it would be pretty amusing since I call her that everyday but half of me thinks that I shouldn't have let them call her that".
The twins were eating their food while I, on the other hand, was just staring at Levi for a few seconds and before I know it, Levi turned to them with a bit of seriousness.
"Okay, I might've been a bit embarrassed or a bit surprised but at a young age, you shouldn't call her that especially Erwin and imitate whatever comes out of my mouth so please keep this to yourself and both of you need a proper childhood. Don't end up like me", he said as he patted their heads.
The twins looked down for a moment and said, "Yes, dad. We understand".
Levi, surprisingly, smiled at them and kissed their heads.
"Good. Now, let's forget this and enjoy our family breakfast. I don't want any of you saying these silly nicknames that I come up with, alright?", he said and grabbed his tea.
"Okay!!", both of the twins said at the same time.
I sighed with relief and I'm already hoping that the rest of the day would be normal. Same old cadet duties, same old cleaning duties and same old family bonding with Levi and the twins.
I'm pretty sure it's over, right?
I ate my toast and before I could munch on it continuously, my eyes widened when I saw the twins drink their glasses of milk, the way they hold it is how Levi drinks his tea.
Seriously?
Can't I just have one Levi in my family?
Oh well, best not to dwell on it.
