I woke to someone shaking me.
‘Geroff.” I mumbled sleepily, noticing I was in a bed.
“Liz you need to wake up, now.” I heard Jace growl in my ear.
I growled back.
“You will make a great dog.”
“Uh, thanks? And who the fuck are Duane and Tyler?”
“They own a different part of hell, one is a lycan and the other is a faery.” Mike answered.
“Which was which?” I asked opening my eyes.
Mike pulled me off the bed I was on, and I realized I was in his and Felipe’s room.
“Duane is a lycan, since he has a ‘gift’ and Tyler is a faery, they are not lovers of vampires.”
“Why did Duane want my blood?”
“Is that what he said? Well he could use it for two reasons one, to bind you to him, which any of us can do, or he wants to drink it, and yes werewolves drink blood too.”
“That’s ugh, uh great to know.”
Jace chuckled, and I shot him a glare.
“Well you should be fine, did he mention anything else.” Iven asked me, and it was then that I realized he was in the room along with Kurt and Felipe.
For some reason my gut was telling me to be vague, “Just you know, I‘ll rue the day I was born and a load of bull.”
“Uh-huh”
“Well Liz, do you feel a pull?” Mike asked, wow that was random.
“Uh could you be more specific, a pull towards a pillow possibly, other than that not really, uh why?”
Jace answered in his stead “He kissed your forehead, which werewolves, or ninos de la luna, they all have a gift like vampires do, vampires can make you grow sleepy like werewolves can, but vampires can also control your mind, while werewolves can control your body, which is a lot less effective if I may add.”
“So what doe this have to do wi... oh I get it, so is his mumbo jumbo working on me, and have you guys tried to mind control me, and why don’t mind control him?”
“It only works on humans.”
“So I am an exception?”
“Yes.” Felipe answered
I gave him a smile, and blushed lightly remembering what had happened earlier.
Mike growled lightly, causing me to blush more.
Mike’s POV (Just continuing where we left off with Liz)
I knew she was hiding something about what Duane told her, but I also know she had a good reason behind why she was hiding this. I wonder why we can’t control her mind and Duane can’t control her body that’s interesting and helpful I bet it has something to do with the fact her dad is Kadin. That’s when the image of Felipe hugging her entered her mind.
I growled, I had not seen that earlier, I glanced towards Felipe, and when he saw my face the same memory came up. Okay she is fucking 16 I don’t care if her damn birthday is in a few weeks, I glared at Felipe, and then turned my glare towards Iven, who had just started visualizing himself grinding against her. Okay that is it.
“Liz can you go downstairs really quickly, I need to talk to my dear old friends, and Reed should be down there.”
She nodded giving me a questioning look, I just shook my head. When Felipe and Jace tried to leave after her I growled “Stay!” I waited until Liz was out of hearing distance, and then I began my lecture for the four of them.
