I was dizzy and my throat, nose and lungs hurts. It was blurry at first but when I finally saw the anxious face of my husband, my heart and soul sank.
" Thank God...you — uu.."
Jhiro...he's crying.
I thought it was the sea water but it was his tears and snot combining. Hindi ko alam kung matatawa ba ako o maaawa because of the uncharacteristic display of Jhiros emotion but when he hugged me and cried out loud kahit sobrang daming mga tao at lifeguards sa paligid I felt guilty and sad. I hugged him too. I thought matetegi na talaga ako—kami!?
" S-shin! "
I shouted. But when I saw Mr. and Mrs. Lee hugging the small kid na naka wrapped sa isang blanket at matamang nakatitig saamin I was relieved. He's safe. I'm glad.
" You—have the guts to worry about others.." I heard Jhiro muttered. He stopped crying and for some reason pakiramdam ko nag eemit siya nang super dark aura.
He's Mad.

Niluwagan niya ang pagkakayakap saakin at inabot ang isang blanket na hawak nang isang lifeguard. He wrapped it around me at bumaling sa gawi ni Mr. and Mrs. Lee. He stared down at the motionless kid.

I called him out sounding anxious.
" YOU LITTLE BRAT! how can you jump in to the water just like that!? Are you trying to kill your self!? If that's the case then don't drag my Wife with you! Think about the people around you! Didn't you think about how your grandparents were worried sick for you? It's not your fault that your Mother died but you have to think about those people who love and worried about you now! You ungrateful Brat! "

And we're all dumbfounded for a second, even Mr. and Mrs. Lee was so shocked about Jhiros outburst. Sobrang na tahimik ang buong lugar. Tanging ang malakas na hangin at kampay lamang nang alon ang maririnig hanggang umatungal ang napakalakas na iyak ni Shin. Hindi tulad nang iyak nito noon. It was a month or a year worth of tears I guess. He was crying so loud pakiramdam ko maiiyak din ako. Until the two old people hugged him and cried too. He was sobbing when he said.
" I-I'm sorry.. Nai Nai, YéYé— *hic* waaahhh-! " Iyak ni Shin habang niyayakap ang dalawang matanda. It was heart breaking yet my heart felt warm for a reason. As expected, Jhiro — you're amazing.

Awkward silence.
Ito ngayon ang bumabalot saamin ni Jhiro. I'm on bed wrapped in a warm comforter and forced to wear Jhiros Big yet comfy Pjs. He was sitting beside the bed. He was looking down motionless without looking at me. He's so quiet na pakiramdam ko mabibingi ako sa tunog nang air conditioner. I was nervous to speak. Should I say.. I'm sorry? Thanks?

" J-Jhiro...galit ka? " I said instead.
Shunga ka talaga minsan Chiyo! Malamang galit na galit! Itatanong mo pa talaga kita mo na ngang hindi na nagsasalita?
He didn't answered me. Nanatili lamang itong nakayuko. His face was covered with his long, unkept and damp fringe. *gulp* He must be quite Mad. Well—sino namang hindi matatakot at magagalit sa sitwasyong iyon. If Jhiro didn't made it on time malamang nalunod at nategi na talaga kami ni Shin kanina. Thank goodness hindi nangyari iyon.

Nakakatawang isipin na ang taong bato noon na hindi man lang alam ang salitang ngiti, awa o tuwa at umiiyak ngayon sa harap ko. I'm really blessed. This person in my arms..didn't said anything but ' I'm scared ' means a lot. His smile, his laughter and his tears...it's making my heart full. And I'm glad I fell in love with you, Jhiro.

After nang araw na iyon Mr and Mrs. Lee invited us for Breakfast. It's quite awkward at first dahil hindi masyadong kumikibo si Jhiro. But when the little fella pulled my sleeve and handed me a flower, napangiti agad ako.
" Ate.. thank you. " He said shyly.
I took the flower in his little hand and hugged him. Aww, ganito siguro ang feeling nang isang proud Mommy.
I was smiling and glanced at Jhiro. Nakangiti din ito habang pinagmamasdan kami. After that he trotted at Jhiros side at tumingin sa kaniya. Eye to eye.
" Someday, I'll be someone like you. And I'll Marry Ate! " Sigaw niya. Napataas naman ang isang kilay ni Jhiro. Hindi maipinta ang mukhang nag smirk ito. " Try if you can. Brat. " he said provoking him. Grabe ka talaga Jhiro, kahit bata hindi mo pinapalampas. Napapailing na lang ako sa staring at glaring contest nilang dalawa hanggang sa tumawa nang malakas si Mr. Lee, even Mrs. Lee was smiling from ear to ear. Napakibit balikat naman ako.
" Mr. Mijares " Pagkuway seryosong baling nang matanda.
" Yes Mr. Lee " Seryoso ding baling ni Jhiro.

Napataas naman ako nang tingin.

After that ay kumain na kami. My husband just made an important business deal pero parang wala lang. We bid goodbyes but Mrs. Lee was crying and didn't want to let go. She can't speak English but instead she was hugging and thanking me none stop. I heard shin called out. Maiiyak na rin ito pero halatang nagpipigil. He really was serious na talunin at gayahin si Jhiro. Jusko, Shin. Huwag ka sanang maging taong bato pag laki mo. Please, iba na lang ang gawin mong idol. Baka ano pa maging future mo pag laki.
Syempre sa loob loob ko lang iyon.
Tahimik lamang akong nakatingin sa labas habang sakay kami nang limousine pabalik, sinundo na kasi kami ni Emma at ang mga MIB. Jhiro was holding my hand. I can feel his stares kaya naman nag salita ako.
" Jhiro. "
" hmm? "
Humarap ako sa kaniya. We stared at each other.
" Thank you for saving me. " I said truthfully. He smiled this time at itinaas ang kamay ko na hawak niya. He placed his lips on it and gently kissed my knuckles.
" No need to thank me. I'll do it even you don't want to. Because the thought of you leaving... makes me go crazy. Don't do that again please. Baka sa susunod atakihin na ako sa puso. " He joked. Napatawa naman ako.
" Opo " I answered. Hinilig ko ang ulo ko sa balikat niya.
I'm so lucky to have him. Kahit taong bato talaga siya minsan. At kahit pinagmumura ni yung mga staff at mga life guard bago kami umuwi. Love ko pa rin itong snowman na ito. He's scary at times but he'll influence you to do your best. Like what he said to Shin. He was harsh, yes. But he can manage to knocked the sense out of you. He's arrogant yet charming. And he's my Husband.
