"Alex's P. O. V."
I wake up to the noise of my phone ringing. I lazily check the time and see that it's past midnight, I check my phone and see it's Stiles who's calling me. I groan in somewhat annoyance and answer the call, pressing my phone on my ear and leaving it there so I don't have to hold it due to laying down sideways.
"Alex! Are you up?" I hear Stiles ask over the phone while I have my eyes closed. "Mhm." I hum, being too lazy and tired to even speak actual words. "Good! Can you come over to school?"
"What? No, I'm sleeping, and besides it's midnight."
"Okay, 1.- You're not sleeping, you're awake. 2.- It's not midnight, it's actually 12: 15, meaning that it's past midnight. And 3.- Me, you and Scott are going to set up a prank for coach because-" "I'll be there." I cut him off as soon as I heard about a prank. "Yes!" I hear Stiles whisper on the other line, mostly to himself obviously.
"Okay, but Scott's already here, so if you're not here in five seconds we'll start without you." He says. "Mhm." I hum again while I'm already finishing getting dressed.
"Okay, and I mean five, four, three, two-" "One." I say, scaring him and making him fall. I might have cheated and use my werewolf speed to get here at school in five seconds. "Seriously? Scott did the same to me." Stiles complains while me and Scott help him up. "So why are we pranking coach?" I ask.
"Because for some beautiful coincidence coach's birthday is the same as the day of antics." "So that's why we're playing a prank on him." Exactly." Stiles says, letting me know that I'm right. "But I think we're too old for this." Scott says. "No we're not." I say. "Exactly." Stiles agrees again while checking a locker in the boys locker room.

I start to hit the brakes on my motorcycle and cut the engine once it's parked close to Scott's and also Ethan's and Aiden's. Why are they here? I take my helmet off and give Scott a confused look, asking him with it what's going on only for him to give me the same odd expression.
I get off my bike and me and Scott both walk towards Ethan and Aiden who are already walking towards us. "You came back to school?" Scott asks once we're in front of each other. "Just to talk." Ethan says. "Oh, so that's a change of style for you. Usually you just hurt, dismember, kill." Stiles says while walking in our conversation.
"You both need a pack, and we need an Alpha." Aiden says. "Or in this case two." Ethan says. "Yeah.. Of course not, but it is pretty funny." Stiles says. "You both asked for help and we helped you." Ethan says. "You guys punched Scott until undoing his face, and you both left Alex alone in her house without even saying anything like her dad did." Stiles says.
"Why would we say yes?" Scott asks and Ethan and Aiden look at me. "They both have a point." I say and they look away, being somewhat disappointed. "You'd both have more strength, we'd make you more powerful. There's no reason to say 'no'." Aiden says and Stiles rolls his eyes at him in a really funny way but I stay serious at the situation.
"I have one," Isaac ads himself to the conversation. "You both grabbed Derek's claws while Kali sinked Boyd onto them. Actually I don't know why we shouldn't do the some to them right now." Isaac finishes saying. Aiden instantly growls at him, glowing his eyes at him and showing his canines too.
"You want to try that right now?" He asks. How the hell does nobody see this? We're at school! Isaac barely take a step towards him but me and Scott instantly stop him, Scott holding onto Isaac's wrist and me pressing an arm over his stomach. "Sorry but they don't trust you." Scott says. "And neither do we." I say and we walk away, leaving Ethan and Aiden behind.
Me, Stiles and Scott walk in school and Stiles immediately gets an entire toilet paper thrown at his face. "Hey! That's my face!" Stiles says while I'm laughing at it. "And both of you," Stiles starts to talk to us. "Good decision! Very good Alpha decision." Stiles finishes saying. "I hope so." Scott says while we keep on walking.
"No, you know that, both of you, okay?" Stiles says as we make it to his locker and wait for him to get some stuff out or to put some in. I notice Scott staring at a certain direction and I look in his line of vision to realize he's looking at Kira. She dropped a few stuff on the floor while trying to open her locker.
Soon enough Stiles notices Scott's staring at her too and speaks. "What are you looking?" Stiles asks while putting some stuff in his backpack. "Me?" Scott asks as if he has no idea what he's talking about. "Yes, you." I say. "Are you looking at her?" Stiles asks as he takes out a box of eggs and puts them in his locker.
"Her? Who her?" Scott asks. "Her her. Kira. Do you like her?" Stiles asks Scott. "No. Well uh, yeah. Yeah, she's uh, okay, she's pretty." Scott awkwardly says. "Ask her out." I suggest. "Right now?" Scott asks. "Yes. Right now." Stiles says for me, closing his locker as we start to walk again. "Like right now?" Scott asks again.
"Yes, right now." I repeat. "Look I think you don't understand. You're an Alpha. You're the epitome of predators. Everybody wants you, okay? You're like the hot girl every buy wants." Stiles says. "What?" I ask. "I'm a hot girl?" Scott asks while Isaac walks in our conversation again and looks at Scott with a weird look.
"You are the hottest girl." Stiles says and walks away with his arm around my shoulder and patting on it, obviously in a friendly way. We walk in Coach's classroom and soon enough so does Scott, taking a seat close to us like we did with each other. "Surprise." I hear coach murmur to himself in his office after awhile.
I hear him starting to chuckle with my werewolf hearing and hear the clacks of the nails and screws me, Scott and Stiles left in a present wrapped box in his office. "That's all?" I hear coach asking to himself in a victorious way. "That's all?" I hear him repeat but this time in more of a surprised way, expecting for a prank.
I hear a wire being pulled on and then many stuff falling to the floor. He must've lifted the 'innocent' looking box. The next thing I hear is what I suppose is him sitting on his chair and then falling off of it. "SON OF A-!" Coach starts yelling but stops while a few of us waiting in his class are chuckling as me, Stiles and Scott look at each other with funny faces.
Couch comes out of his office and slams the door shut, entering the classroom. "The night of naughty. The night of the demon. I don't care how you call it! I hate it as much as Halloween! You think it's funny that the night of naughty and Halloween to throw eggs at my house?! Now listen up! The house of a man is supposed to be his castle." He says.
"It's supposed to be." I repeat and a few people chuckle and try to contain their laughs. Coach slams his hands flatly on my desk due to me sitting at the front between Scott and Stiles and then backs away while Stiles has a too victorious look on his face. "My castle looks like an omelet." Coach says.
"And this?" He asks while grabbing a small present box on his desk. We didn't put that there. "Will we do this again? I don't think so." Coach says and let's the box fall on the floor and smashing his foot on it afterwards, braking what was inside. He kneels down and looks at what he broke.
He broke a coffee cup that says '#01 Coach' with coach's face on it. Coach picks up a small paper note that was in the box and reads it. "Happy birthday. Love, Greenberg." Coach says.

"Barron attacked people with glowing eyes?" Isaac asks. Apparently a crazy psychotic person is at school and nobody is going to come in or leaf school until they find him. Scott's mom had to ask Barron a few questions and he had said he attacked and killed the people he did because they had glowing eyes. Melissa was with him because he needed a surgery.
"He used those exact words?" Isaac asks Stiles. "Yeah, and nobody knows how he woke up from the anesthesia. But when they opened him they found a tumor filled with flies alive. Which actually under any other circumstance it would be incredibly awesome." Stiles says. "Did you say flies?" Lydia asks.
She had stopped and stayed about two or three meter behind as me, Stiles, Isaac and Allison stop to look back at her. "Lydia." Allison says, expecting her to confess something. "I've been hearing that sound all day." Lydia says in annoyance. "It's like a buzz." Lydia explains. "Like the buzzes of flies?" Allison asks.
"Exactly, the noise of flies."

"Oh, I'm sorry." Stiles says after almost crashing into a guy due to me following Scott's scent to find him and I kind of left Stiles behind so he had to run. Stiles and me both walk towards Scott. "Man, where have you been?" Stiles asks. "The police is leaving, why are they leaving?" Lydia informs and asks while walking in our conversation.
"The police?" Scott asks. "They must've checked the whole building, it means he's not here." Stiles says. "What? Who are ta-? What's ha-" "He has to be here." Lydia insists, interrupting Scott. "That sound, the buzz I'm hearing, it's getting louder," Lydia says. "How much?" I ask.

"Lydia says he's still here even tho the police already checked everything." Scott explains to Ethan and Aiden. Me, them, Scott and Isaac are in a small dead end at school around a corner. Melissa had brought some clothes of Barron so us werewolves could smell it and try to find him.
"But they don't have something," Scott says and pulls out the cloth that Barron had used at the hospital for the surgery. "Our smell." Scott finishes saying and hands it to me so I can memorize the scent. I bring it to my nose and smell it, instantly regretting it. "Oh my god it smells horrible." I say and give it back to Scott.
"At least try to memorize the scent." Scott says. "Believe me, I'll never forget that scent." I say and Scott rolls his eyes, not believing me and then bringing it up to his nose, smelling it too. "Oh my god, it does smell horrible." He says and quickly passes it to Isaac who smells it too after a few seconds of debating, coughing and slightly gagging after he smelled it.

"So this is how it's going to be now? We trust them?" Isaac asks me and Scott, the three of us being in the school basement. "Us letting them help doesn't mean we trust them." "Exactly." Scott agrees with my establishment. "Yeah well I don't trust them either. I don't even like them." Isaac says while we keep on walking.
"Actually, I hate them and I want them to die." Isaac says. "Well then I guess you're in luck."I say. "Why?" Isaac asks. "Because if Barron is here and has a plan your wish might be granted." Scott answers while me and him walking ahead of Isaac as I turn around to face him and see him smiling to himself.
A few minutes pass of long and boring time and the fire alarm sounds, catching our attention. The three of us look at each other and without a single word we instantly run from where we came from. We quickly make it out of school and meat up with Ethan, Aiden, Stiles and Lydia.
"We didn't find anything." Aiden says. "Not even a smell." I say. "It's already 3:00, school's over. If there was a bomb wouldn't he already made it explode?" Stiles asks. "Does it mean everybody's safe?" Ethan asks. "I don't know. I just... I don't know." Lydia confused and unsurely says.

The noise of my phone ringing gets my thoughts out of my home work. I get off of my bed and walk towards where I have my phone charging. I see the ID caller and answer Stiles' call. "Alex! Where are you?!" He asks. "Hi to you too." I say. "Look, Barron's going to kill Kira and Scott doesn't answer his phone, do you know where he is?"
"Yeah, he's supposed to be at Kira's house, her dad invited Scott to eat." I say while grabbing my helmet and exiting my department. "Wait, Scott told you and didn't tell me?!" "Just drive to Kira's house, I'll text you her address." I say and hangup.

I cut the engine of my motorcycle and get off, taking my helmet off too while Stiles parks his jeep and we notice Scott passed out on the ground, having some blood on his forehead. We waste no time in running towards him to wake him up as I see that Lydia is with Stiles. "Hey Scott! Scott!" Stiles shakes him in attempt to wake him up while he starts to open his eyes.
Scott sits up and looks around. "Barron, he took Kira." Scott says, quickly recovering from his blackout. "We know, it's his target." Stiles says.
"No, nothing, just things in Latin about flies and dead people, just that." I hear Isaac say on the other line of Scott's phone, he had thought about calling Isaac to see if him and Allison had found out something about what's happening.
"Okay, thanks." Scott says and ends the call, walking back to us. "We have to think about something, he's going to kill her." Scott says. "I knew he was here, how did I know that?" Lydia asks somewhat terrified. "Because you heard the flies, right?" Stiles asks. "What do you hear now?" I ask. "Nothing." She answers.
"But I know I can do it. But I don't know what to do. I know it's on the tip of my tongue but I don't know how to active it." Lydia stressfully says. "It just, it literally makes me want to scream." Lydia says, taking a few steps forwards away from us and running her fingers through her hair in stress.
"Then scream Lydia. Scream." Stiles says and she does. Stiles covers his ears while me and Scott slightly look away. She takes in a deep breath and sighs it out as if feeling relieved, she looks above her speaks. "They're not flies," she turns around to face us and we back away. It's not that we're afraid of her, we're just afraid of her scream.
"It's electricity." She finishes saying. "Wait a moment, Barron was an electrical engineer. He use to work at a substation." Stiles says. "What substation?" Scott asks.

Me and Scott park our motorcycles while Stiles parks his jeep, the four of us now being where Barron use to work. Me and Scott immediately take our helmets off after cutting the engines and run inside the substation. We hear a noise coming from certain place of the substation and we make our way towards it.
We walk around a corner and see Kira tied against a metal fence. We instantly run inside the room but Kira tries to stop us from it. "No! Watch out!" She yells and we barely have time to turn around, only to get thrown back against a wall due to Barron touching us with an electrical wire.
Barron walks towards Kira and gets ready to now stab her with the wires sparking with electricity. "No." Scott weakly says. "She's not who you want." I say but he doesn't listen. He kneels down besides Kira and barely even touches her with the wires and instantly gets thrown back, his action provoking too much feedback in the entire room.
All the fences spark in electricity while me and Scott cover our eyes. The light starts to fade away and we uncover our eyes, seeing that Barron is dead and burned on the floor while all the electricity sparks get attracted at one some place. Once the smoke starts to fade away too we see that it's Kira.
She's somehow absorbing the electricity with her hands while seeming surprised by it. She absorbs all of it and looks at us while we look at her with wide eyes in a surprising expression.
