I woke up and rubbed my eyes.
Where am I? .. Oh yeah
I looked at the time 6:38AM.
I sighed quietly.
Crap. We have school today and I forgot my backpack at home.
I went to brush my teeth and brush my hair with Luke's hair brush.
I went back to his room and shook him.
"LUKE." I whispered loudly.
He was still sleeping.
I shook him harder.
He's still sleeping.
I stood on the bed and started jumping.
Still.
I got down and started slapping his arms.
Still sleeping.
Oh my god, Luke. Are you serious?
I grabbed a sticky note on his desk and wrote:
Luke,
I'm going back to my house. Thank you and your mom for letting me sleepover! Thank you :*
(P.S. You're a heavy sleeper)

I stuck it on his forehead. It might fall off. I grabbed duck tape on his desk (yes he has a lot of tools and supplies on his desk) and made it into a donut. I took the sticky note off and put the duck tape on it. I stuff it on his forehead again.
I went out the door and walked home.
I unlocked my front door and quickly closed it and went in.
I took off my shoes quietly.
I tiptoed (like Dora for fun) to my room. I closed the door. I changed into my comfy pajamas. I lied on my comfy cozy bed. I only had an hour to sleep and my alarm clock is on. Time to sleep!

My alarm..
I took my alarm and turned it off. I sighed. 7:20AM. I changed into a blue plaid shirt with some skinny jeans. I went to the bathroom and straightened my hair.
Then, I noticed a huge pimple on my chin.
I applied some acne cream on that huge red creature.
Then I went to the kitchen.
"Good morning Jewel!" Mom said cheerfully.
Ignored her and made cereal.
I sat down and ate.
Brock came over and said, "Cheer up!" And started jumping.
I glared at the little toddler.
Brock frowned and ran away.
I turned my head back and stared at a crumb on the table.
I finished my cereal and left the bowl on the table.
I grabbed my backpack and swung it on my shoulder.
I put on my brown coat and put on my combat boots.
"Jewel! Wash your bowl or else I'm not going to give you a ride to school!" Mom shouted.
I rolled my eyes and left the house. I walked to the bus stop and Luke and I went to school.

I barely paid attention at school. Many teachers yelled at me to pay attention. One strict teacher, Ms. Clarkson, my social studies teacher, whacked my head with a ruler. Boy, did that hurt.
At lunch, I ignored all the fans that wanted my autograph. I ignored everything and everybody around me. I thought of what every adopted child thinks.
Why did my real parents leave me?

I didn't go home. I went to Luke's house. His mom allowed me to stay over. Luke's mom made some tater tots which were really greasy and crispy.
We went to Luke's room and we did homework. Then we were finished.
"Hey," I said to Luke.
"Hi!" Luke said cheerfully.
"No," I chuckled.
"I mean hey," I got serious, "thanks for being a great friend and being there for me. You are awesome."
"Thank you, Jewel. I appreciate it." Luke nodded. I smiled and looked at the floor.
"You know, I liked you before I liked guys."
I quickly looked up. "Oh my gosh, when?!"
Luke threw his head back and laughed. His perfect soft hair flew back.
OMG I really wanted to know what shampoo he uses!! Curse you, dry hair!
"It was when you had a crush on Marcus Simmons!"
"Oh my gosh!!" We both cracked up.
I remembered Marcus. I liked him when we were 7 years old. I only liked him because he looked attractive.
I stopped liking him when he peed his pants because Luke scared him by tapping his shoulder.
"I knew you had a thing for me." I have him a creepy smile and nudged him with my elbow.
Luke laughed.
"Let's do something, Luke. I'm bored."
"Do you want to go somewhere?"
"Where do you want it go?"
"I want you to be happy today. Menchies?"
I grinned. "Yes please!" I stood up and raised my arms in victory.

We took a bus to Menchies. We went in. I smiled.
I looked at Luke like I was mental. "TIME FOR SAMPLES!!!"
I ran to get the little sample cups.
I heard Luke mutter, "Oh. I'm scared now."
I went to get as many samples as I can. I took around 15 minutes to get samples. Until an employee told me to stop and buy something already.
I grabbed the bigger cup and got red velvet and root beer. I put a lot of marshmallows on top. I paid for it and grabbed a lot of Menchies tattoos and stickers. Like I mean A LOT!
I sat down next to Luke who was quietly eating his frozen yogurt.
I ate mine and I felt like I was in heaven. 😇
"Let's go!" I grabbed Luke's arm and pulled him off the chair.
"What are you doing? You didn't finish yet!"
"Do I have to finish it? Come on! Lets go!"
"Where are we going?"
"Dollar store!"

We took a bus to dollar store and went in.
"What are we buying?"
"Temporary tattoos!"
We went to the craft section.
I got some Dora, My Little Pony, and Hello Kitty tattoos.
"Why?"
I spun and looked at Luke.
"You wanted to make me happy?"
"Well, yeah-"
"Then we are going to buy this!"
I skipped to other sections like a little kid.
Then, I accidentally bumped into someone. Their things fell out of their hands.
"Oh I'm so sorry! Let me help you pick it up!"
I grabbed their stuff and handed it to them.
I looked up. It was a blond woman in her late 30's. She was very beautiful and had the same coloured eyes as me.
Her eyes widened when she looked at me. "Sorry," she muttered. She quickly ran away. I stood there frozen like a statue.
Luke ran over. "Did something happen? I heard some stuff fall."
I shook my head. "No, I just bumped into a lady."
I was thinking of many questions. 1 major question was why does she looked a bit like me but older. She had my eyes and mouth.
No no it's crazy. It's not true.
I pushed my thoughts away.
I was here to have fun and be happy!
I stopped thinking about everything.
"Okay let's buy these tattoos." I smiled.

We went back to Luke's house. We went to the bathroom with the tattoos.
"Can I put all these tattoos on your arm to show your manliness?"
"Can I wash it off tomorrow?"
"No. Do not wash it. Let it fade away and poison your skin."
I threw my head back and did my professional evil laugh.
Luke pouted. "Fine."
First, I chose a My Little Pony tattoo. I think the name was Rainbow Dash? I put it on the weirdest place. I put it on my elbow. It dried and it felt weird bending my elbow.
I put the rest of the tattoos on Luke's biceps.
"When you go to the gym and wear a tank top, you can show everyone your beautiful thought bad boy tattoos!!"
Luke rolled his eyes and smiled.
Ding! Ding!
I got a text. I walked to the side while Luke flexed his muscles in the mirror.
I grinned.
I looked at the text I got.
Daddy: Please come home, Jewel. We all miss you. Dinner's ready. We made your favourite! BBQ Ribs and corn!
Dang it. I love mom's barbecue ribs and corn. I don't know if I should.
I sat on the toilet seat with the cover on. I sighed and hit my head with my hand.
"What?" Luke look at me in the mirror.
I told him what my dad says.
"Oh." Luke knows how much I love the ribs and corn. "It's up to you."
"What are you guys having your dinner?"
"Some udon noodles? I tasted it with my friend who took me at a Japanese restaurant. So tasty."
"I'll stay."
Luke nodded and went back to flexing his puny muscles.
I texted back my dad.
JumpyJewel: No.

At the dinner table, it was very quiet and lonely. I slurped my udon noodles. It was really good. Luke was right.
It was only Luke, Me, and Luke's mom sitting at the table.
Luke's dad was working in Germany. Luke's sister has a husband and is pregnant. So Mrs. Ames is pretty lonely.
I think she likes it when I'm over. Maybe. Hehe....
"Mrs. Ames? Is it okay if I stay over again? I have problems with my family at home."
"Yes. You may, Jewel. Luke told me everything. I hope you and your family makes up." She gave me a friendly smile.
I smiled back. "Thank you."

It was 10PM. I was on the floor again. Luke was on the bed. We were both on Vine.
I was watching most on Nash Grier's vines. I'm in love with his blue eyes. 😍
"Nash is so cute and adorbs!" I squealed.
"Shhh.." Luke reminded me to be quiet.
"Sorry," I whispered.
"You will meet him one day."
"Yeah right! You are crazy. That will never happen."
"Your dad."
I sighed.
"Let's go to sleep."
We both turned off the lights.
15 seconds later, we turn our phones back on.
