I was once alone inside of the dark. Usually I cry, but slowly I'm dying. People usually ask me if I will cry. Darkness has once held a sword above me. I've seen the light, and it lets me be free. Deep inside me, I know the truth. I'm as old as time, I'm not true youth. I've been broken over and over again yes. Nothing can stop me, and I don't plan too. I'd admit I've been over the top blue. And finally I'm going to be me. Let it all go, be free, to be me... Si!
This poem I also written in 7th grade (2016). It's so true it's hard to be alone, but if you want to get out of it, you are going to try hard, really hard. I've learned from experience that people come and go, some things you are going to have to do yourself and that's ok. There are going to be times in life when no ones going to be holding your hand, or telling you what to do.
