Valina awoke with a start, her head pounding. She is soaked in sweat, her hair sticking to her face.
"What the hell was that all about?" She gasps, trying to catch her breath.
Valina turns to her alarm clock to check the time, 4:00 a.m.
"Shit, only two hours of sleep left."
Valina lies on her stomach and tries to fall back to sleep.
"It was only a dream," She says to herself. She doesn't have time for nightmares; tomorrow is one of the most important days of her life.
After all, being crowned Queen of the Ettore Coven is definitely no walk in the park.
