Ambra's POV
I woke up and put on:
I put my hair in a bun and put on mascara and lipgloss.
I walked out and yawned.
"I'm never going to sleep again."
"How're you gonna stay awake?" Nash asked.
"Coffee, energy bars, monsters, red bulls, more and more" I sighed.
I sat down and ate an apple.
"I need something to do" I stated, bored.
"Oh, I thought you were miss popular, always had shit to do" Matt joked.
"Shut the eff up" I laughed.
"Well....today might get a little more interesting" Matt said, slowly, as he looked at his phone.
"What happened?" I said as the guys listened.
"Apparently.....Dad called me....at 4 AM" Matt said slowly, looking at me.
I didn't show any emotion.
Even if my mind was going crazy.
"What'd he say?" I said, picking my nails.
"He left a voicemail. Can I play it?"
"Why should I care?" I let out a breathe as I put my cup in the sink.
"Ok, I guess" he said and played it.
"Hey Matt. I was gonna call Ambra but I know she has my on block. I wanted to let you know....I know your mom just left a few days ago on business, I'm gonna come watch you guys. Get to see what I've missed, and I've bin doing really good. Your mom doesn't know, it's not a big deal since I do own part of the property. Please let Ambra know so I'm not ambushing her. I hope you listen to this. I'll be there tomorrow. Please call me back. See you soon."
I froze at the sink, and everyone looked at me.
"Are you ok?" Matt asked.
I didn't move.
"Ambra, you good?" Hayes asked.
Hayes came over and put his hand on my shoulder.
Without thinking, I turned and shoved him on the ground.
"Oh shit, sorry" I said, coming back to reality.
"Uh....it's fine" he said as they helped him back up.
"So....Dad's coming back for a bit. And he'll probley wanna stay around after mom comes back too. Is that good?" Matt asked.
"Um......yea. I'm fine. Whatever. I'm going out."
"Ambra, we need to talk about this"
I held onto my phone hard, trying to not chuck it.
"No, I wanna go out"
"Ambra-"
"I'm leaving"
"But Dad-"
I chucked my phone at the wall, smashing it.
"Fuck-bye." I snapped, walking out the door and slamming it.
Yup. It's coming.
It's going down.
