Happy birthday to this amazing album!
Here are some fun facts:
1) The album came out on March 18, 2011, so it's been 6 years since its release.
2) In the video "The Ballad of Mona Lisa" there's tribute to the videos "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" and "Nine in the Afternoon." The video begins with dusty pews, which were in the Sins video and all the clocks are set to nine.
3) The masked figure in the back on the album cover is Dallon Weekes. This is what is says on Wikipedia, but I figure that this accurate enough by any chance: "Although Weekes did not perform on the upcoming album, he was responsible for the conceptualization of the cover art of the album and was also featured on the album cover, masked and standing in the background behind Smith and Urie."
4)Both "Ready to Go (Get Me Out Of My Mind)" and "Thnks Fr Th Mmrs" share a line:
"I'm ready to go, ooohh (Get me out of my mind Get me out of my mind)" and
"Get me out of my mind
Gets you out of those clothes
I'm a liner away from
Getting you into the mood."
5) "The Calendar" was originally supposed to be about a guy and a girl, but it ended up turning into a song about Panic's! breakup
6) Brendon wrote "Sarah Smiles" as a love song to Sarah, and they're now married
7) There's a verse in "Nearly Witches" where Brendon sings it in a mocking way, which leads people to believe he's making fun of Ryan Ross
8) The outro of "Nearly Witches" references back to the album's first song, "The Ballad Of Mona Lisa"
9) "Stall Me" is considered a Ryden song by some fans
These are things I just found, so if something doesn't make much sense, it's probably because I worded it differently than how I found it.
