"Ion give a fuck!" Savage yelled, pacing around the room "Them niggas got another thing comin"
We all now were in the basement, the whole shootout ended about 45 minutes ago, and I was still shooken up. I clung onto my mom as she stroked my hair. Whatever they did to make them leave, I was happy. Somehow more men from Walter's business showed up and helped, I was thankful
August sat there with his head in his hands "If they know about Destiny, then they damn sho' know about Mercedes"
My head shot up "What?"
"There ain't no time for questions baby girl, just know you can't go back to your dorm tonight" Walter said
"....Or ever" Savage said
"I-I have curfew I can't miss that-"
"You wanna be safe or not?" Savage asked as I nodded "We need a plan, y'all can't be here anymore, it's too risky"
"Hey Porsha" Walter said
"Yes honey" My mom answered
"Remember that land we bought a few years back?" My mom nodded "That house has seven bedrooms, we can go there"
"How far is that?" August asked
"About two- Three hours away" Walter answered as August sighed "Pack your things, we're not gonna be back for a while" he finished
"Mom?" I asked
"Yes baby?"
"What about my school?"
"You can go for classes,but you can't be in those dorms. At all" she said as I nodded
"I still need my clothes" I said back
"I'll take you, come on so we can get back in time" Savage said as I stood up slowly
The walk to his car was dead silent as we got in. It stayed silent as we drove off to campus.
"...You okay?" Savage said breaking the silence as he parked by the dorm
I sighed "I'm scared"
"Whatchu scared for? Nobody gone do shit, you saw how we ran dem niggas off, You good, trust me" Savage explained
"I don't know, what if they come after me, August basically said they would, and I have Competition tomorrow" I said checking the time, seeing it was 12:26 am
"Imma tell you this, they most likely do know about you but you ain't got to be scared, nobody gone hurt you, i promise. I won't let anybody hurt you. That's why you goin away for a while. And as far as yo competitions, you can go but you just can't stay at school overnight, it ain't safe"
I nodded "....Okay" I agreed as I got out and savage closely behind me

I walked into the bosses office as he sat behind his desk waiting for me
"Did you complete the request?"
I in fact did not. Once we got to the Sporino Household there were more people that expected.
"No" I told truthfully with my head down
"...Why not?" He asked with a little base in his voice now
"They had more people than expected"
"Give one reason why I shouldn't blow your head off?" He asked cutting me off
"Um well for one, porsha's daughter"
"She has a daughter" he asked now smirking
I sighed "Yes," I said taking the file from a co worker next to me "I did research on her last night, she's going on 23 and supposedly Savage's new love interest"
Boss continued to look through her file "Okay, get her or you're dead, you have three days"
I nodded before he motioned for us to leave his office

I scrolled through Snapchat, bored out of my mind. I had Mandatory Practice today, because the first competition is tomorrow. And Savage had to take me everywhere I needed to go because it wasn't safe for me to go anywhere by myself. So here I was waiting for Savage.
I heard a knock on the door "Come in"
That's when Walter and my mom walked in.
I sat up in the bed "What's going on?"
My mom sighed "Nothing honey, we just wanted to check up on you"
I nodded "Okay"
"...So how are you feeling, after you know" Walter asked breaking the silence
"Um Okay I guess" I said truthfully, I really didn't know how to feel at the moment
"I guess this is the time to tell her" Walter said to my mom as she nodded
I sat up
"Honey, as you know Walter is a real estate agent" My mom started "But he has another business on the side, you probably figured out by now but it's a dangerous business"
"A drug business" I blurted out
Walter nodded "Ill take it from here" he told my mom "You see, Mercedes it's complicated, this whole 'business' started from my great great great grandfather down in Italy" he said as he sat on the edge of the bed "And all the men down the line had to take over, the eldest one of course" he chuckled "We have businesses everywhere-"
"I take from this that the whole real estate thing is a whole cover up" I said
Walter nodded "Smart girl,-" he laughed "Have you heard of a McDonald's or a Costco being caught for a drug bust?"
I shook my head
"Good, and we like to keep it that way" he answered "But" he sighed "We just came in here to tell you that last night might've scared you but, I can assure you, you're safe, with your mother and I" he said, patting my back "And I'm sure Shayaa will keep you even safer" he laughed
"Oh yeah" my mom butted in "I've been meaning to ask, what's going on between you two?, y'all are all touchy touchy"
"Porsha" Walter warned
"I'm just asking a question" my mom said back
"Don't worry Mercedes, I'll get the ole lady off your back, come on, let them kids be" Walter said pushing my mom out the door
"We're not done with this conversation!" I heard my mom yell from a distance
I look up to see Savage leaning on the doorway "What was that about?" He asked pointing toward my mom and Walter
I shook my head "I don't know" I said as I stood up and grabbing my practice bag
"Are you still not talkin to me?" He asked me as I pushed past him
Oh yeah did I mention that we got into an argument because he wanted me to quit cheer because it might not be safe after what happened, yeah I was not having it. At all.
"At least I'm still takin yo ungrateful ass!" He called from behind me
The whole car ride was silent. I was too deep in my thoughts to be worried about Savage at this point. I was pulled out of my thoughts when I felt the car stop
"Why did you stop?" I asked, highly annoyed
He just looked at me "...because we here now"
I looked around to see that he parked by the entrance of the big gym. I tried to get out but the door wasn't opening. Child lock.
"Let me out" I said through gritted teeth
He started laughing
I turned and punched him in his bony shoulder and he stopped almost immediately
"....Really?" He asked
"Yes really I'm gonna be late open the fucking door"
He shook his head "Nah"
"Why not" I said, my arms folded
"Because you actin like a damn six year old" he said
"Okay so locking me in a car with you is gonna make it better?" I asked, ready to snap at this moment
He turned his head "Gimme kiss"
I leaned back "No let me out I'm almost five minutes late"
"Okay I guess we bout ta be posted then" he said and leaned back in his seat
I sat there waiting for him to just unlock the door but he didn't. I hate the fact that we're both so stubborn
"...Okay fine" I said
"Okay fine what?" He asked
"If I have to kiss you to go and practice then fine" I said as I leaned in and pecked his lips "Can I go now?"
He unlocked the door. And I ran inside the gym, I don't know why but it didn't help the fact that I was an hour late. Of course Aimee made me run extra and gave me a hard time. And I got questioned by Miracle and India on why I haven't been in the dorms, considering the fact that I kinda had to, in order to be a cheerleader, you had to live on campus. Practice ended at about 10pm. And we all had to check in at 6:45 to get on the but to travel down to where we were competing at. Savage was waiting for me as I walked out the gym, leaning on my Mercedes.
"Are you serious all those cars you got and you drive mine" I said as I put my bag in the car
"Aye you lucky I'm drivin you anywhere" he retorted as we got in

7:32 AM.
I slipped my sunglasses on as we took off from campus, being that this was gonna be a two hour ride and I was still incredibly tired, I decided to sleep the whole way there. As I was drifting off in a nice sleep, I felt my sunglasses being ripped off.
"Girl I know yo ass ain't sleep" Kassandra said as Tiffany and Andrea was Snapchating me
"Oh my god please, let me be" I said slipping my hood over my head only to have it ripped off by Heidy
"Wake yo ass up! Might as well stay up" she said laughing
I groaned, sitting up, having no chance of sleeping now, I got my phone out and started looking through Instagram. The ride was slow and miserable, being that I was still sleepless and tired. We arrived at the arena and got out, taking in the huge place, I looked around to see other teams getting off their busses and gathering their items as well. It feels good to be back.
