I got out of Lydia's car i borrowed and went into the woods knowing Derek was there, i walked towards the hale house knowing he was there, when i made it in front of the Hale house i watched him sit on the ground across from the Hale house, i walked over towards him. He turned around glancing at me before looking back. I sat down beside him, neither of us spoke up. We just sat there in comfortable silents staring at the house.
"Have you ever gotten this feeling that you just felt like a monster?" Derek broke the silence making me turn my head towards him. "I feel that everyday." He went on making my heart break.
"Derek, you're not a monster." I told him grabbing onto his forearms that was crossed around his knee.
He chuckled shaking his head. "You don't know me well, Layla." He said, turning his head looking at me with a whole lot of emotions build up. "I killed someone." I tensed at what he said. "That's why i had blue eyes instead of yellow." His face was written in pain.
I kept myself quiet waiting for him to go on. "I didn't mean to kill her." His voice cracked, tears formed into his eyes, i looked at him with wide eyes. "I d-didn't know she would die." All the pain he felt, it hurt me too.
I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him into a hug. "Shh." I shushed him as i rubbed his back up and down.
He broke the hug, still staring at my face. "She was so innocent." He told me. "I met her when she was practicing her music, her name was Paige, we were sixteen when we met and me being a jock with my friends decided to practice basketball in the hallway." I chuckled at the thought of a cocky Derek.
"She came out of the classroom and started telling us to leave so she could practice." He wrapped his arms around me pulling me towards his chest, i grabbed his free hand and interlocked it. "Me being stubborn like now decided to not go until i made a deal with her telling her if she catches the ball i would leave." I laughed.
"You sounded like an asshole." I said looking up at him.
He kissed my head. "I was, i decided to you know do my amazing moves, dribbling the ball between my legs not letting her catch it, she got so annoyed that she turned around and went towards the music room door, but i stopped her so i could apologize, i promised her that if she told me her name i would leave her alone but she told me that the only way she would tell me her name is if i play on instrument." He said.
I looked up at him with my head still on his chest. "What instrument did you two play?" I asked feeling interested by the story.
He looked down at me squeezing my arm comfortingly. "I played the triangle, she played the cello." He answered before going on with his past. "She hated me so much but after a while of hanging out everyday, we got closer each time and when i asked her out she said yes and that's when we started dating." He sucked in a breath.
"Before the alpha pack was made up, they each had their own packs until they killed them all, Ennis had lost a pack member, they wouldn't even let him see the body, and you know what it feels like? It feel like losing someone so close to you. Peter once got into my head telling me to do something and i listened to him."
"Peter asked Ennis to give Paige the bite." Derek said, making me inhale sharply. "It didn't turn her." I removed my head from Derek's chest not knowing what to feel. "She always knew about werewolves." His eyes started tearing up. "She had begged me to take her pain away." I looked away from his sad eyes. "She asked me to end her life, and you know what i did?" I looked back up at him. "I did it and she died right there in my arms." Tears floating down his face uncontrollably.
"Derek." I let out a shaky breath.
He shook his head. "I'm a monster, Layla!" He shouted, making my heart break. "How do you love a monster!?" He cried-yelled.
I pulled him into my arms. "Derek stop!" I cried, we broke the embrace. "You're not a monster! Peter was the one that got into your head! Stop blaming yourself! Do you know how much it hurts when i have to witness the guy that i love hurt himself!? You're not only hurting yourself Derek! You're hurting me too." I told him.
He looked at me raising his hand wiping away the tears from my face. "I'm sorry." He whispered, shaking his head.
"You know i met your mom once." I told him, he looked at me curiously wondering how i met his mother. "When i was little probably the age of twelve i ran away from home because my dad had came back drunk and almost hit me but Scott stopped it in time, i ran upstairs and all i could hear was my mom, Scott and dad arguing." Tears slipped out from the memories.
FlashBack:
(Twelve year old Layla)
I ran upstairs to my room holding myself crying my eyes out, i hate my dad so much. I still don't get why he hurts me, what have i done to him? The yelling between the three got louder making me clutch onto my ears not wanting to hear anymore of it.
I stood up knowing i wouldn't be able to block them out, i walked towards my window opening it, i crawled out holding onto the ladder on my balcony climbing down, once i made it to the ground. The first thing that came to my mind was run and i did, i ran as far as i could. Running into the woods not knowing it was a bad idea.
I ran into the woods, as far as i could. All of a sudden i tripped over a stick falling to my knees in front of a beautiful mansion. Tears poured out of my eyes, i put my head on my knees closing my eyes rocking back and forth, hoping just some how the pain will go away.
I felt a cold wind fly by me, i picked my head up wiping my tears from my eyes to see a big looking creature with red eyes in front of me, i was too scared to move or scream, the creature came towards me, and when i tried to get up and run the creature had attacked me, i struggled from the creatures grip, the thing tried biting me.
I screamed as loud as i could hoping someone would hear me, all of a sudden the creature flew off of me, by a big black wolf. This is not real! This can't be real! I'm going crazy, the wolf and the creature started fighting.
Until the creature ran off, as the wolf who saved me turned around and with a blink of an eye it turned into a woman, i gasped backing up not believe my eyes, how is that possible? This can't be real! The woman grabbed her dress slipping it on before making her way towards me, with fear i backed up not wanting the woman to be near me.
She crouched down to my level. "There is no need to be scared, i won't hurt you i promise." The fear in my heart kind of calmed down but was still there. After what i witnessed i don't know what to think. I could see her eyes shining bright with happiness filling her face, i looked at her confused of why she is so happy. "Derek's mate." She whispered, Mate?
She slowly reached up touching my forehead, i felt sparks go threw my wrist and once she pulled away i looked down at my wrist to see a mark, it was a very tiny star.
My heart sped up when i looked at the woman. "Wh-what a-are y-you?" I stuttered feeling scared.
She smiled at me. "Soon you'll find out my dear." She said.
When a car door caught our attention, i looked up to see a boy, i didn't get to see his face well but the only thing i could see well was his brown eyes.
I don't want to be around these people, they scare me. "Thank y-you for s-saving me but i need to get home." I thanked her before standing up and running off to hear her yelling out for me, i ignored running out of the woods and towards my house.
I'm going crazy.
Flashback End:
Derek just stared at my face, with mixed emotions, i raised my wrist up pointing at the little star next to the Hale. "This is the mark your mom left me." I told Derek.
He didn't bother looking at he just stared my face. "That boy was me." Derek said, i looked up at him nodding.
I put my hair behind my ear staring at the hale house. "We are both broken, Derek." I said, looking back at him.
"And the two broken people have fixed each other." Derek said. I nodded. "I love you." He said.
"I love you too." I replied, we both leaned in giving each other a kiss on the lips, i wrapped my arms around his neck as he laid me down on the grass with him hovering over me, he squeezed my butt making me gasp, which caused him to slip his tongue in my mouth.
I moaned against his lips as we kissed, i rolled over, hovering on top of Derek. Kissing him with so much love, so he can know that he is loved and i will never let him go.
He quickly turned us over again hovering over me as his hands traveled everywhere around my body, i pulled away breathlessly as Derek decided it wasn't over, he trailed his kisses to my jaw up to my earlobe, then down to my neck and towards my sweet spot, i closed my eyes moaning as he sucked on my sweet spot. "Derek, i think we should stop." I told him as he kissed down my chest.
"No. one. is. around. here." He said between the kisses, i bit my lip holding a moan.
"I know, Derek but in the woods?" I asked trying my best to hold back a moan.
He looked up at me. "Sex in the woods is fun, lighten up a little." He winked making me blush, i slapped him in the chest. "So what do you say? Let's turn this horrible day to a good day." He winked making me laugh.
I looked around the dark woods. "This is going to be the first and la-" I was cut off by his mouth smashing against mine.
He slid off my cardigan as he took off my top leaving me in my bra, me feeling paranoid since this is the woods and anyone or anything could see this, i turned making sure no one was here. "No one is here and if they are we'll smell their scent." I nodded as i slipped his shirt off.
We both stripped off each others clothes until we were completely bare and that's when it started, and let's just hope no one from outside the woods heard me.
No matter how amazing it was, this was going to be the last time i will have sex in the woods again.

Derek collapsed beside me breathing heavily. "We have to do this again." He said breathlessly, i slapped him in the chest.
"This is going to be the last time." I told him grabbed my bra slipping it on, as i was still breathing heavily from what happened, i grabbed my clothes slipping them on and so did Derek.
Once we were fully dressed, Derek turned me around grabbing me by the waist. "I'm sure you wouldn't want to do it again." He smirked.
"I don't." I lied, okay it was fun okay! Don't judge! I'm almost a eighteen year old girl and i'm already living life and plus no one was around i hope.
Derek rolled his eyes at me. "Your heart skipped a beat." He smirked.
I sighed. "Whatever Derek." I walked out of the woods with him by my side.
"What do you say we do it in the lake?" He asked making me look at his smirking face and slap him in the arm blushing. "I'll take that as a yes, i mean you didn't say no." Before i could argue back and tell him no, he ran in the car.
I sighed getting into the driver seat. "I have to return this car to Lydia." I told him, he nodded.
I started the car then drove off to Lydia's, these past few days were horrible, let's just hope tomorrow won't be like that.
Derek leaned in kissing my cheek before looking out the window.
