Recap:
“It wasn’t your fault.” He firmly said. “It wasn’t." And all I could do was sit there crying because although I knew his words were right I couldn’t help but blame myself for everything that happened.
“Blake,” I said lifting up my head. “I-I love you.”
He smiled and grinned, standing up and swinging me around, laughing in happiness but quickly set me down when he heard me moan in pain. He cupped my face and leaned down. But before he kissed me, he breath fanning over my lips causing them to tingle he said. “I love you too.”
Then placing his lips on mine.
Chapter 21:
“Stop looking at me like that!” I snapped at Blake, crossing my arms with a huff. Looking sheepish as he rubbed the back of his neck with his hands. I noticed he did that a lot when he was nervous. “Looking at you like what?”
“Like I’m going to hate you and run away.” I retorted. “B-But- it’s just so hard to believe you’re okay with it and you’re not going to hate me.” He wondered. “I don’t think I could bear it. Life without you isn’t a life at all.”
“Don’t say stuff like that.” I chided. “Nothing will happen to me, I’m not going to let it. Blake, I love you for who you are, not what you are.”
He smiled, “I love you too.” He was about to give me a kiss when I shouted, “look at the road, idiot!” He rolled his eyes. “It’ll be fine. Remember, werewolves have better senses.”
“Well not everyone has super powers.” I grumbled. He chuckled before swiftly giving me a quick kiss causing a blush to form before I started shouting profanities at him to keep his eyes on the road.

I shoved him, stalking away muttering to myself. He laughed catching up to me pouting. “Aw sweetheart, don’t be mad.” He wrapped his arms around me and while I struggled I couldn’t help but give in, as I relaxed against his hold.
He turned me around to face him and placed his lips on mine. His tongue seeking for entrance making my melt into him and heat to pool between my thighs.
I ran my hand through hair, tugging at it lightly causing a growl. He placed kissed on my jaw before trailing kisses down my neck, and sucking on it.
A moan spilled out and I could hear him growl at the sound. He gave me one last peck before inspecting my neck. “What?” I asked touching my neck. “Mine!” He growled. Realization came as I’d realised he’d given me a hickey!
I buried my head in his chest, blushing furiously as I realized all the people watching. He growled and glared at everyone, clutching me closer to him and I couldn’t help but feel the tight muscles under his shirt.
Everyone’s eyes slid to the ground as he took hold of my hand and dragged me towards the office. But after hearing me groan slightly in pain, he lifted me up causing my legs to wrap around his waist and my arms around his neck.
A yelp escaped me as he did that and started walking. I sighed in content as I relaxed against him, tightening my legs causing a groan. He let me down gently when we got to the office.
“What are we doing here?” I asked, confused. “I’m changing my schedule to fit yours.” He grinned.
I grinned hugely jumping up and hugging him. Now I wouldn’t have to be alone! We headed towards class when I realized I’d forgotten something! “I left something at my lockers, you stay here!” I demanded.
I quickly got my books and rushed towards where he was when suddenly I heart two voices in a heated discussion. I backed up against the wall and looked around the corner. I could see a slut, with brown hair and blue eyes plastered against Blake.
I gasped and clamped a hand over my mouth. He wouldn’t do this to me right? I watched as she leaned in and he didn’t do anything. I watched as my deepest fear came true, that I wasn’t good enough, that he didn’t deserve someone like me.
I could feel myself preparing for pain. I bitterly laughed to myself, did I really think I could get a happily ever after? I close my eyes, leaning against the wall. Waiting.
“Get off me!” My eyes popped wide open in surprise. “I have a mate that’s kind, beautiful and the most amazing person in the world!” He shouted. W-What did he just say?
I peeked around the corner in time to see the slut glare at him before stomping away. I let out a squeak as I saw Blake turn and stare at me. I quickly hid again but I was too late. “Sweetheart,” He called out. “Come out.”
I sheepishly shuffled towards him. He pulled me in his arms before tipping my chin upwards. “What’s wrong?” He asked.
I guess he could still see some of my remaining fear. “I-I thought you would go with the slut.” I muttered. I hesitantly looked up at him and I saw his eyes filled with hurt. I could literally feel tears start to build up when I knew I had caused him pain.
I moved closer, wrapping my arms around him. “I’m sorry.” I whispered, resting my cheek against his chest. “It’s okay,” He sighed. “I understand. I was such a man whore before I met you. If I could I would go back and change my ways. But why would you think I’d leave with her, you’re so much better.”
I stared at him. “I-It’s just, I’m nothing compared to them.” I heard him growl, but I continued. “I mean look at them, they’re beautiful. But me, I’m just plain and boring.”
He growled, “Look at me! You’re the most beautiful person in the whole universe, and you better not think otherwise!” I smiled, it felt nice to hear him say that even if it wasn’t true.
“Okay,” I shrugged. “Whatever you say.” Before he could argue, the bell rang and I realised we had missed first period.
So I dragged him to class, ignoring his protest. We quickly sat down next to each other but he dragged my table closer to his, which made me blush. The teacher called for our attention, and I focused on him.
I couldn’t help but moan slightly as I felt Blake’s hand on my thigh. His hand tightened and he let out a growl, which made me even hotter.
I grabbed his hand and smiled. “We have a new student today!” I looked up, he had dirty blonde hair and blue eyes, muscular. I saw him staring at me and I frowned.
Wait, I thought. He wasn’t staring at me but more at beside me. I looked to my left and saw Alexis. Her eyes were wide, and she let out a gasp.
They looked at each other like they were the only people in the world, like when I met Blake. I gasped figuring it out.
Were they mates?
