"Someone else's new experience is another's deja vu"

We're sitting in this car, that was actually matte green. Green. Out of all the colors,green. Not that it was a bright neon green, but it didn't have to be this much. I check the time that shows up on the sleek layout, it was only 10 minutes since we had met up with one another and I already feel nervous and confused.
We were currently heading to somewhere 'private' in order to figure everything out and if I can be honest, I was not feeling it at all. I'm tired from the intriguing drive with Yuko and I still had my homework to finish by Wednesday but we ended up going to a japanese restaurant that looked pretty high class to me. But then again, all japanese restaurants looked high class to me. I walked ahead into the restaurant while Robin just stood outside, looking like he was trying to breath in and out heavily.
I walk back outside, "Is everything alright?"
He just kept breathing in deep through his nose and out through his mouth with his hard thinking face on acting as if I wasn't even there. After a couple of minutes, he finally moved from his side of the car to the door and marched with new found energy. He consulted with the waiter that led us to a private dining room and we sat down with the waiter on stand by.
"Get whatever you want," he said while taking a sip of the tea.
I wasn't hungry. I really wasn't. But who could turn down free food? Therefore without hesitation, I went with my first thought.
"I'll have the Unagi Don."
That was definitely my favorite japanese food and it will always be so. Robin looked at me funny right after the words left my mouth. He had a small smile that looked sad but filled with meaning. I waited for the waiter to leave after taking his order as well to start conversing with him.
"So where do we start? You have the approximate location of where she is right?" I went on and on about different ways we could approach her and create the happily ever after that he was probably desiring.
"Aspen... "
"Or we could like get everyone to find her new phone number and then text her and..."
"Aspen..."
" Or or we could drive to her complex and surprise her with all these meaningful messages from you guys and..."
"Aspen..."
"I got it! We could send her letters everyday until she finally understand that she misses you gu-"
"Knight?" Robin says as he pokes my hand.
"I don't think she will ever come back with the actual intention of coming back, we're going to have to bring her back without the reason being we need her back."
"Like what?"
"Emily and Asher are getting married soon, we could invite her, I'm sure she wouldn't miss their wedding."
I was seriously thinking about this. What was the point of all of this if we weren't going to be straight up?
"Are you going to be okay with seeing her?" I looked up from my lap, home of the fingers that are fiddling with each other, "I mean, do you want to see her? You've tried for so long."
"I'll probably go M.I.A while you guys go out to see her," he raised his eyebrows hinting for me to go on, so I did, " I don't think I would be in the best shape if I do meet her. If I ever see her later on in my life, I'll act as if I don't know her and let her live her life the way she originally planned...without me."
"No matter how I look at it, she just doesn't seem to be the person to abandon someone like you," he was rubbing the spot between his eyebrows which somehow made me pity his stress right now, " the Alexandra I know would never let her little sister go out into the world like that."
"Well the Alexandra you thought you knew also left you to mourn on your own."
That shut him up.
The food came and we ate in silence. I didn't finish and Robin only scratched the surface of his meal. As the waiters took our unfinished dishes out of out presence, Robin finally became serious.
"As I was saying, Alex would never miss Emily's wedding. I have to take a business trip soon and the others will also be in the area in preparation for the wedding. I was planning on staying in the same complex as Alex while I stay in that side of town,"
"Smart, make things look like everything was unplanned and coincidental. "
"Well, why am I even here, it seems like you have it all planned out," I smile mischievously, " my only concern is that everyone will be there at the same time, it will look weird."
"That's not important right now."
It was my turn to raise my eyebrow for him to continue.
"Aspen, I need you to accompany me on this business trip," he said it so sternly. I was shocked. Does he even realize what would happen the moment she sees me? The chances of her attending the wedding turn so slim and everything would be ruined. Is he in his right mind?
"You're crazy and stupid. You're crazy stupid. That just ruins the plan. What are we? Middle schoolers ? We can't make a mistake that stupid. There can't be any spur of the moment decisions in this plan. You know what, actually make the stupid mistakes, she will drop all of you guys even lower than she already has."
"Look, I think if she realizes that you are successful and aren't a burden, she wouldn't see you as the little sister that would drag her down. I mean, that is the reason she left right?"
"How am I supposed to know? I can't read her mind!"
"Just think about it, it makes perfect sense. You're a doctor! You probably make more money than she does..."
"Robin..."
"You're not the little kid anymore. You aren't immature or anything..."
"Robin..."
"She isn't that cold hearted, I mean, yeah it would take a bit to convince her but..."
"ROBIN."
He looked into my eyes quickly.
"She already knows everything about me, she knows I'm a doctor, she knows I've grown up, she knows everything already."
"What? I don't think I'm comprehending what you're saying right now."
"Robin...she just doesn't want me."
She's done with me and my bullshit...
I don't blame her, but then again, is there even a reason she should blame me?
Maybe...

Hey guys
So... It's been a while. I'll be honest, I don't think I can deliver at the speed I used to. The juices aren't coming as fast but fear not, they are definitely still coming in. I had to take a while to get things in order and focus on some other aspects. I've decided to make the rest of the story a lot more serious after this chapter to really catch the meaning behind the story. My ending is still intact as it always has been and this book has about 5-10 more chapters until the final chapter.
For those who are loyal, reoccuring readers that are always the first to read my chapters, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. And for the new readers, welcome! I hope you enjoyed the last few chapters so far.
I've really wanted to shout out to all the supporters that keep reading the book despite the slow updates. Sorry for the shitty update this time.
