*The next day*
I knocked on Sandman's door and Benzedrine opened it.
"Did you want Sandman?" He asked
"Yea I wanted to tell him that I think I'm ready to go home. Not now but as so as I can" I told Benzedrine
He bit his lip "Well his bad side is out right now which means he needs sometime alone. I think he would like to take you back himself and it probably wouldn't be best for him to take you now"
"I totally understand I can wait"
"I know what Sandman showed you. He told me"
"Yea that was a lot to take in"
"You aren't staying?" He asked
"No I can't. I really like it here but I miss home"
Benzedrine hugged me "Come back when ever you want"
"I promise I will" I hugged him back
"He is going to miss you the most" Benzedrine added
"I will miss him too"
We stopped hugging "I'm going to go back in and see if he is OK" He said walking back into the room. When he opened the door I saw Sandman for a slit second. He was on his bed with his hand in his head with black eyes. He looked like he was insane.
I decided to go down to the living room to see what everybody was doing
"Hey Jess your friends are really awesome" Horse Shoe Crab laughed when I got down there
"Yea they are" I laughed back and sat next to Pete
Sandman and Benzedrine came into the front room. Sandman had his hand on his head and his eyes were closed tightly as he walked into the kitchen. He must get headaches from his bad side
"It is getting real bad again" Benzedrine whispered
"What is?" Patrick asked
"It's a long story" Benzedrine explained
Sandman can back in. He looked a lot better then he did earlier and his dark brown eyes were back. In some ways he kind of reminds me of Pete. Honestly Benzedrine, Horse Shoe Crab and Donnie also remind me of Patrick, Joe and Andy.
"You ok Sandman?" I asked as he sat on the other side of me
"Yea I'm fine" He answered
"Um Jess I told Sandman that you are really to go home" Benzedrine said
Sandman looked over at me and I nodded "Yea I am ready"
He sighed and looked upset "When?"
"When ever we can"
"I'll take you guys back at noon" Sandman said
I decided that was a good time and we headed into the kitchen to eat
The whole time we ate Sandman keep his head down and just played with his food. He didn't eat at all. Benzedrine looked upset about his friend and sighed.
"So what happened while I was gone?" I asked breaking the silence
"Nothing much. Same old boring work" Andy laughed
After we finished eating Sandman took me to his room. When I walked in their he ran over to his dresser
"Close your eyes" He smiled
I did as he said and felt him put something around my neck. I opened my eyes and looked down at what he had put on me. It was a necklace in the shape of a heart. I hugged Sandman
"Thank you" I smiled
"I want you to always remember me"
"I will how could I forget you"
He kissed me and I kissed him back. I put my hand on the back of his head and played with his hair as we kissed
"I love you Jess" Sandman smiled
"I love you too Sandman" I blushed
