It's 5:30 in the morning
And I'm staring out my window
Watching sunset orange smoke
Rise above the towering trees
Because I can't bring myself to stare
At the moon or the stars
Because I know thats what you are doing right now
Just like we always did on these sleepless winter nights
Dreaming of our lives while we were still awake
