All the words, every sentence is screaming in pain,
As the ink dots the paper, my thoughts go insane
Every tear that streams down is a work of art,
A crystal of divinity, as they're shed it breaks my heart
Singing to myself silently to keep my head held high,
When all I really want to do is sit in a corner and cry
Rocking back and forth, repeating over and over is one phrase,
"Don't be afraid to express yourself, noone cares what the people say."
Pondering over it silently, as the tears continue to fall,
No way would I be able to accept myself, let alone be strong and stand tall
There was no use pretending I truly didn't care,
For after all the blow hit home and there was no heart left to tear
There I was limp on the floor, my emotions washed away
Even though you'd told me not to care what the people say
All the words, every sentence, screaming in pain,
All because you'd left me, with my colours drained.
