ALMA'S POV-
My eyes fluttered open and I looked around the room. I tried to sit up but something around my waist held me down. I looked down and saw an arm draped, I followed the arm and saw Niall. I smiled replaying yesterday's events.
I knew I couldn't stay here forever, but even a short while seems wonderful. I slowly try to pry his arm from around me, but he only tightened his grip.
"I have to pee" I mumbled quietly trying again
"Can't you hold it, I'm comfortable" he sighed pulling me closer to him
"I guess" I pout
I frown when I hear him softly snore, meaning I had to wait. After a while I couldn't hold it anymore. I tried to get out of his grip but he wouldn't let go.
"Stop it" he whined
"I can't hold it anymore, please" I begged still prying at his hands
"Alright" he gave in and let go and I rushed to the bathroom closing the door. Doing my business before walking back out. When I walked back into the room he was sat on his bed rubbing his eyes.
"Good morning" I smiled sitting next to him
"Morning" he yawned
"Still tired" I asked
"A little but that's okay" he weakly smiled at me
"I'm gonna use the restroom" he got up and walked out of the room. I grabbed my phone from my back pocket and saw I had many missed calls from my parents. I had some from my brother, and two from my cousin. As well as plenty of text messages

Where are you
This isn't funny
Why aren't you in your room
When did you even leave
You're in so much trouble
We are worried please call or something

One minute you were in your room and when we went to get you for dinner you weren't there?
Are you okay
We didn't even hear you leave
Your window was closed and locked so the only way was for you to get through was the front door
How did you get by so quietly
Why did you leave
Are you ignoring us
Come home mom and dad are crying
They haven't slept all night
At least let us know you're alright
Mom's gonna call the police if you don't contact soon

I sighed after reading them. I decided it would be best to just send a quick message and get on with the day
To: Mom, Dad, Xavier
I'm fine. Not sure when I'll be home. I'm safe just with a friend
I closed my phone and set it on the side table next to me just as Niall walked in.
"What happened you look upset? Are you okay" he questioned
"Uh, nothing, I'm fine" I shook my head and then my phone vibrated. I didn't touch it but Niall did and read whatever was on there
"Your family is texting you" he explained
"I know but I don't want to talk to them. I told them I was fine and that I wasn't sure when I would be home" I replied
"They said you're in a lot of trouble" he frowned
"I don't really care. I usually always am for something" I shrugged
"It's gonna be okay" he squatted in front of me
"Yea, I hope so" I sighed
"Come on let's go get breakfast" he got up and headed towards the door
"What about your parents and siblings I don't want to just go down there" I shook my head
"No one's here till 3ish" he admitted
"Are you sure" I hesitated
"Yes, positive" he nodded
"Okay" I agreed and we walked down to the kitchen
"What do you like to eat" he asked
"Anything, it really doesn't matter"
"How about french toast" he held up the bread
"Sounds good do you want me to help, I can make some bacon and eggs while you do that" I offered walking towards him
"Alright sounds good"

We sat in his room watching some movies when we heard someone knock on the door
"Wait here" he mumbled to me and got up off the bed and walked to his door opening it slightly so that only his body could be seen "yea"
"We're gonna go to the movies with Aunt Ginny. Do you want to come" a voice spoke from the other side. It was a girl and it sounded older, I'm assuming it was his mom
"Not tonight, I have homework I want to finish" he lied to her
"Aright hun, we'll bring back some food. Let us know if you have friends over or something" she agreed
"Uh, can one of them come over" he suddenly asked
"Yea, that's fine. We have to go, the movie starts soon. Love you" the women sounded like she was getting farther away and he shut the door
"I'm sorry" I sighed looking over at him "if you want to go to the movies, I can go home"
"What, no, no you aren't going back" he shook his head frantically "not for a while. Until this whole thing is worked out"
"I- but, the movies you can go if I'm not here" I explained moving to get off the bed
"I don't care about a stupid movie" he stated and moved his hands to push me back to where I was "I don't mind staying here with you if it means that you're safe"
I stared at him like he was crazy, like what he was doing was stupid. No one has ever really thought about me, no ones really cared enough for me. I didn't matter to other people, I was always just kind of there. I didn't realize tears were running down my cheeks till his face changed and he wiped them away
"Why are you crying" he panicked hugging me close to him
"Thank you" I sobbed into him as I wrapped my arms around him "so much"
