i am triggered by the title
RANT
[sorry that this has to be the second chapter in my new book but i just really need to rant about this rn and get it out there.]
i feel like my "best friend" isn't treating me like best friends should treat each other. she makes me really upset sometimes and she just doesn't listen. she asks me for help with almost everything but doesn't answer when i ask her for help.
at my school we don't have assigned lunch tables or anything so we (the people who i sit with) always rush from our 4th period classes to the lunch table and try to get a seat in good spot, or sitting next to someone who you want to talk to. well, a few days ago my "best friend" and i were on our way to the lunch room and she decided to go to the bathroom with my other friend before going to the lunch room. so i went to the lunch room and sat down next to my other best friend bc i wanted to talk to her about band and stuff. plus i like never sit on that side of the table, i normally sit at the opposite end. then my "best friend" comes in and gives me this horrible glare and walks over and starts telling me to "get out of her seat" and to "go sit with my friends". first of all, like i said, we don't have assigned seats, second of all "my friends" that she wanted me to go sit with are the friends that i made in 7th grade that are pretty cool and stuff but i literally always sit over there with them. also, we all finish eating at different times so like 5 people leave after 15 minutes and the rest of us (it's normally "my friend and i) say for a while longer. so she kept telling my to "get up" and stuff and i was trying to argue back that we don't have assigned seats and that it doesn't matter but she just wouldn't stop. so i gave up and moved over to the opposite side of the table and i was just so angry and upset and she made me want to cry and it didn't help that the other people kept asking me if i was okay and stuff and that just makes it worse. she just made me so angry but i couldn't really avoid her bc we have most of our classes together ):

so (i'm saying so way too much but oh well) there's this singer idk if any of you will know who he is, alec benjamin. and i've started to like him ever since i heard some musically to "water fountain" and i bought some of his songs and stuff. i got a notification that he was live on instagram so i joined it right away and all these people were commenting stuff and there were like 800 people on it so i asked him when more songs would be out on iTunes...
and HE ANSWERED AND I WAS SO HAPPY (he said "hopefully soon") so i went to go tell my "best friend" and started to explain (on snapchat) who he was and stuff and she just starts typing and talking about this boy who posted something weird on his snap and how it was really funny and stuff. so i kept explaining who he was and she was still trying to talk about the boy but started responding "yeah" so then i sent her the pic of my question and told her that he answered and started just typing random uppercase letter bc i was so happy and all she says is "cool dude" and then started talking about the boy again. it just made me so mad.
like i always care when she's really happy about something or needs help but apparently it's not the same both ways )):
sorry about this rant peoples, ik it's really early in this book to already be ranting but i really had to just type it all out for someone to read. and wow this is more words than i normally even put in a fanfic chapter wow (780 words). i probably won't go back and fix any mistakes cause this is just a rant in some random book so idc. if you read all of that bless you. tysm for reading!
