You took a sip of your coffee as you hummed in delight. The sunlight poured through the windows, covering you in a blanket of warmth as you sighed happily. Leaving this spot was almost like a sin, it was heaven in this ray of light which shone through. Placing your cup of coffee back down on the table, you went back to reading your book.
"(Y/N)!" you heard a voice say happily as you looked up, adjusting your glasses. "Ah, Kaneki. Hello," you said calmly before giving him a close-eyed smile. He blushed a bit before smiling. "H-hello, do you want me to get you another coffee?" he asked, scratching his cheek in embarrassment as you couldn't help but blush slightly at his adorableness.
"Anything from you dear," you said before crossing your legs. Kaneki nodded before rushing off to get you another cup. You couldn't help but chuckle as the ghoul rushed around to make you a cup of coffee. You went back to read your book, sighing in content at the somewhat silence in the cafe.
A cup was placed on your table as Kaneki smiled. "Here's your cup of coffee," he said cheerfully as you chuckled. You poked his forehead before smiling. "Tell me when your shift is over okay? I'll take you out on a date," you said before Kaneki bloomed into a red. "D-d-date?" he said, flustering about as you chuckled.
"Mhm, I'll take you to the bookstore if you'd like," you continued before he smiled bashfully. "If you don't mind," he said, fiddling with the hem of his sleeve. "Like I said before dear, anything for you, and from you," you said before giving him a close-eyed smile. He rushed off, not before saying thank you as he went to work.
~Timeskip~
Time flew by as his shift was over. You looked up to see Kaneki changed into his regular clothes as he walked over. "My shift is over for now," he said as you smiled. "Okay then, ready to go?" you asked as he nodded, allowing you to have some time as you put on your jacket and scarf. "Let's go," you said smiling as Kaneki's eyes sparkled in delight and excitement.

Once you got there, Kaneki somewhat rushed over to a shelf with books on it as he examined it. "There's this book that came out from one of my favourite authors and I heard it's really good," Kaneki said as he skimmed through the books on the shelf. Once finding it, he realized he was too short and tried to reach for it as a (S/C) hand reached up and grabbed it for him. "Here you go," you said as you adjusted your glasses.
Kaneki blushed, thanking you before looking at it. "(Y/N)." "Hmm?" "Have you read this before? It's really good. It's by (L/N), he's a really amazing author." Your eyes widened slightly before you smiled. "I wish I could meet him someday. He's awesome!" "You're awesome too," you said, Kaneki nodded before realizing what you said. "Wait..." he started before his eyes widened. "(L/N)!!" he shouted before covering his mouth in embarrassment.
You chuckled before petting his head. "Mhm, the one and only," you said, giving him a close-eyed smile as he blushed at you. The person he admired so dearly was someone he knew so well and yet he didn't know. "I-I-I..." he stuttered as you smiled, heading to the counter to pay for the book as you left the Kaneki there to daze off.
"C-c-can you...sign the b-book?" he finished as you handed it back to him, the cashier heading to the back to organize books. You nodded before doing so, Kaneki squealing as he hugged it tightly to him. You both ended up sitting at a nearby table as Kaneki read your book.
Smiling, you thought of an idea. "Kaneki, can you look at me for a bit?" you asked as he hummed looking up to have lips press onto his. The tender kiss lasted for awhile as it took awhile for him to comprehend what was happening. Once it ended, he exploded into a flustered cherry as you chuckled.
Hearing him mumble, you asked him to speak up again. "C-can...can you k-k-kiss me...a-again?" he asked, fumbling with his sweater as you blushed slightly. "Of course dear," you said as you leaned in for another passionate kiss.

[A/N Deemo]: I felt bad for not updating in like a week so I decided to update. I think I enjoyed writing this, not that I didn't for the others. This was a fun one to do since the plot was okay. I don't know what to write because I'm exhausted like I always am but y'know. Hope you guys enjoyed this though. I think I'll close requests for a bit since I have like 27-28 requests to do. I'm sowyy~ I just can't keep up with the imaginative brains out there ;3 Anyways, that's all for today and thanks for reading. I'm heading off to bed! 030
