It wasn't until after Jax told me that his mum had cancer that we began forming a proper close friendship. Not even his best friend knew why Jax had been upset but that's only because he didn't want people knowing. He didn't want everyone to give him the sympathy treatment.
I kinda understand. I tried to keep to myself and acted like I was doing ok when Cassidy died.
I had to tell Bailey why Jax wasn't himself because Jax isn't a very open person when it comes to anything involving his home life. I don't know why though. He has a happy family from what he's told me.
His parents have been happily married since they were 22 and he has two happy little sisters. One sister is 10, the other 7 and they're both blondes unlike Jax whose hair is quite a dark shade of brown.
I've been seeing a new side of Jax this month. He's been confiding in me alot. I guess because he's seen what I've done to help Bailey. It's all just a project to keep me busy and somewhat social really.
I'm thinking maybe one day I might start an actual foundation that helps people when they're down in the dumps. Its just an idea though. I'm not sure how I'd even start a foundation and its not like I could do it all on my own either.
Perhaps I could ask Anna from my Math class last year to help. She's kind and caring. She love volunteering for charity and she always used to supply me with notes whenever I missed a day of school.
I'm not sure though. I'd have to think about it more. I'd rather have some sort of plan before I just went barging into the whole situation. I have to keep my goals focused on helping Jax right now.
Jax's mum is having her first round of chemotherapy next week. I promised Jax that Bailey and I would go up to the hospital with him. I hope everything ends up ok.
