Chris POV
"Come eat!" My mama yelled
I ran around Kynsie and down the stairs with Ro. I sat at the table and put Ro in her high chair
"Well just leave me." Kynsie said coming down the stairs and tucking some of her hair behind her ear
"My bad." I said smiling
She helped my mama make the plates and sat down
"So what's been going on back in LA?" Lytrell asked
"Nothing really. Just the same ole LA." I said shrugging and feeding Ro
"I got a man." My mama blurted out putting her fork down
"A what!?" We all asked
"A what!?" Ro said
"A boyfriend. We've bee-"
"No no no. Mama, what are you thinking." I said shaking my head
"What?"
"Who is this man?" I asked
"His name is Jackson."
"He got a job?"
"No, bu-"
"You can't be with him. I don't care how you feel about it, the answer is no." I said
"Christopher!" My mama said
I just looked at her as if I didn't do anything wrong
"Every time you get a man without a job, you breaking your back for them, and then they turn around and do you wrong. We even had a fallout because you stole money from me to give to Leonardo. So therefore my answer is no." I said looking at her
"Chris, stop. You haven't even met the man." Kynsie whispered to me
"And I'm not." I said
The doorbell rung
"I got it." My mama said getting up
She walked back in holding hands with a man
"Everyone, this is Jacks-"
"Come on Kynsie." I said grabbing Ro and getting up
"But Chr-" Kynsie started
"I said come on." I said
She rolled her eyes and stood up
"I'm so sorry mam-"
"Kynsie." I said sternly
"Oh my gosh." She said with an attitude
She walked passed me and straight out the door. When I walked outside she was already in the car looking forward with her arms crossed
I put Ro in her carseat and got in the front. I started the car and drove
I don't know where we going, but I just needed to get us out of there
I looked in the review mirror at Ro and she was sleep. I looked at Kynsie and she was looking out the window. I sighed and kept driving
Kynsie mumbled something and I looked at her
"What?" I asked
"I don't think you should have done that. It was uncaused for." She said shaking her head
"You can judge once you've witnessed your mama stealing from you."
"And you can talk to me once your mama abandon you. Until then, just don't talk to me." She said looking at me and back out the window
I pulled over and looked at her
"Get out."
"What?" She asked
"Get out. I don't have time for your bullshit."
She laughed and opened the door
"Gladly. Loose my number." She said and closed the door
I was surprised she didn't slam it. I watched as she pulled out her phone and called somebody, I'm assuming a uber
"Why are you still here. You told me to get out. I'm out so leave." She said
"Do you see what part of Virginia we in."
"You don't have time for my bullshit. Right? So leave."
Just then a matte purple Lamborghini pulled in front of me and a man in a tux got out and got in a taxi he flagged down
"Yes. He's an lifesaver." She said to herself and got into the car
She pulled off and I followed behind her to see where she was going.
She pulled up to a fancy hotel and got out. She walked inside and to the front
I looked in the back and Ro was up. I grabbed her and got out. I walked in and Kynsie was about to buy a room
"What are you doing?" I asked
"What the f- why are you still following me?" She asked looking at me
"Just get in the car." I said
"Do you want me in or out. I'm not about to beg you, chase you, nor put up with your bullshit."
"You right." I said turning around about to walk out
"Kynsie." Ro whined reaching for her
"No Ro." I told her
She looked at me with tears in her eyes and said "Kynsie."
"Roy-"
"KYNSIE!" She yelled as she started crying
Kynsie walked over to me and grabbed Ro and whispered something in her ear
"But why?" Ro asked as Kynsie wiped her face
"I don't know. You have to ask your daddy that Princess. I'll FaceTime grandma tonight to talk to you, okay?" Kynsie said
"Okay." Royalty said and wrapped her arms around her neck
Kynsie hugged her, kissed her cheek, and gave her back to me
"I'll be to get my things from your room tonight and I'm leaving first thing in the morning." Kynsie told me as she walked away
I watched her walk to the elevator and I walked out with Ro
"Daddy, why you and Kynsie can't be together yet?" Royalty asked as I was strapping her in
"What you mean yet?" I asked
"I don't know, that's what Kynsie said. She said you and her can't be together yet."
"She's to yo- I don't know Ro." I said and closed the door
I got in the front and started the car, pulling out the hotel and onto the freeway.
"Damn Chris. Why would you tell her too get out? Just stupid." I told myself in my head
I rubbed my hand down my face
"DADDY!" Ro yelled
I looked and a big ass 18 wheeler was in front of me. I swearved out the way and I grabbed Ro as quick as I could and wrapped my arms around her so she wouldn't get hit by anything. Next thing I know is my car going tumbling down a hill
"DADDY!" Ro yelled again
I couldn't answer her, I was dizzy and I felt light headed
"DADDY NO!" Was the last words I heard my daughter say before I blacked out
Kynsie POV
"I don't know, he just told me to get out because he didn't have time for my bullshit." I told Lexii
We were currently on FaceTime and I started telling her what happened
"Damn." Was all she said
"Yeah, what you and Aug up to?" I asked biting into my honey bun I got from the vending machine on my way to my room
"Nothing, we went to a party and it was a big ass fight so we left." She said
"Who wa-" I was cut off my Chris name flashing across the screen
"He's calling." I said
"Who?"
"Chris!"
"Answer bitch!!" She yelled
"Okay I'll call you back." I said then hung up
I answered Chris call and put the phone to my ear
"Hel-"
"KYNSIE!" Royalty yelled, crying
"Ro, baby what's wrong?" I asked sitting up
"DADDY!" She yelled
"What's wrong with daddy?" I asked standing up, sliding into my shoes and grabbing my keys
"We had a wreck and now he no wake up!" She said crying
"Ro where are you!?" I yelled pressing the down button repeatedly on the elevator
"I don't know!" She said
"Did you pass anything?" I asked running down the stairs cause the elevator didn't open
"Uh, Main Event. Daddy, wake up!" Ro yelled
"I'm on my way baby." I said
I hopped into my car and quickly started it up. I flew out of the hotel and making a left. I drove until I seen main event
"Ro, where are yall?" I said
"Down a hill." She said crying
I looked down and sure enough there was Chris G-Wagon turned upside down
"Ro, are you in the car?" I asked pulling over, parking and jumping out my car
"Yes." She said taking deep breaths
"Are you hurt?" I asked as I ran down the hill
"N-no."
I hung up and by luck the passenger door was open. I crawled in and grabbed Ro from Chris a pulling her out
"Stay here." I said placing her by my feet
I crawled back in and checked Chris pulse. Good. Then his breathing. Good.
I grabbed him by his arms and pulled him out. I laid him by Ro and looked at him
"Chris. Come on, wake up." I said rubbing his chest
A tear slipped from my eye and fell on his face and I wiped it off
"Daddy!" Ro said and slapped him
That didn't work. I heard sirens and a couple of police cars and an ambulance pulled behind and in front of my car
"Fuck." I whispered
I didn't want them to show up. They can take Ro away from Chris and I can't say she's with me. How I'm gone get away saying that Chris let me keep his baby for the night. They're probably going to call Nia and she gone be all over Baller Alert, TMZ, The Shade Room and any other gossip site telling them that's she's getting full custody of Ro. Fuck!
"Ma'am, move back." An officer told me
I stood up and grabbed Ro hand stepping back
"Get him to an hospital right away." He said
A couple of paramedics came down, and put him on a stretcher
"Ma'am, can you tell me what happened?" The officer asked
"I don't know. I was at my hotel and I got a phone call. I answered and Ro had the phone. She told me what was going on and I came right away. But as far as the wreck, I don't know." I said shaking my head
"Well, we're going to call her mom, or grandma to come get her." He as I referring to Ro
"Grandma. Please." I said
"Okay, follow us and I'm going to have you call her when we get to the hospital." He said
"She doesn't have a carseat in my car." I said
"Oh, that's fine. She put a seatbelt on her."
He turned around and I scooped up Ro and put her in the passenger side of my car. I buckled her up and went to the driver side and got in buckling myself up. I started my car and followed behind the ambulance
"Is daddy going to be okay?" Ro asked looking at me
"Um, I really don't know Ro, I hope so." I said and pulled into the hospital
"We don't tell mommy." She said
"Smart. I wasn't going to tell her anyways." I said parking
I got out and went to her side getting her. I walked us into the hospital and sat down. I placed Ro in my lap and called Mama Joyce. She answered on the second ring
"Hello." She answered
Gosh why do I have to be the one to tell her
"Mama, Chris and Ro got into a car wreck." I said
"Oh my gosh, are they okay? LYTRELL COME ON!"
"Ro is, but Chris is unconscious." I said
"Oh my gosh my baby." She said and she started crying
"No no no no no, mama. Come on, be strong." I said
"Kynsie? What's going on?" Lytrell asked
"Chris and Ro got into a car wreck." I repeated
