"Mom" I kept calling her but she didn't hear me, maybe I should try and say it louder.
"MOM!" she slightly jumped from her seat then turned her head with an annoyed look on her face and asked, "What happened? What do you want Daniel?"
"Are we there yet?" I ask her, we are going somewhere but they don't wanna tell me where and I'm dying to know, I can't help my curiosity.
"No, calm down and sit down son, there's still a lot to go through and with this traffic I doubt we are gonna be there soon, it's better if you take a nap, it's a long road" she said, as if that was going to keep me from wondering where are they taking me.
I felt the car swerve and speed a little, I ignored it and went back to my book, suddenly I jumped at the bolt, I saw my dad trying to get out, when he finally did we were all smiling and thanking God for helping us get out of there. As we were thinking, my dad adjusted the mirror and gave me his one million dollar smile.
If I only knew that was the last time I was going to ever see that smile again.
