"Cedric?!" Sunod sunod na malalim na paghinga, "Cedric! Lumayo ka!" At sunod sunod ng pagsigaw.
"Hhh...H'wag! Wag please! Wag!" At pag iyak.
Agad akong umupo at inalog ang mga braso nya, "Rose?" Hindi pa rin sya tumitigil sa pagsigaw at pag iyak, "Rose, gising!" Inalog ko ang braso nya ng mas malakas, "Rose!"
Malalim na paghinga ang inilabas nya kasabay ng pag upo nya. Hanggang sa inilabas nya na ang malakas pag iyak. Agad ko naman syang niyakap at hinalikan ang buhok. Niyakap nya rin ako at takot na takot.
"Rose, okay na." Sabi ko at patuloy na hinahaplos ang mga braso nya, "it's just a nightmare. Andito ako, I'm here. Shhh... Stop crying." Pag papatahan ko sakanya. Bumitaw ako ng sandali at hinawi ang buhok nya,
"Wag kanang umiyak, Rose. Cedric is not here," pinunasan ko ang mga luha nya, "he can't hurt you anymore. Because I'm here," Sabi ko sakanya na hindi pa rin tumitigil sa pag iyak, "I'm here, Rose." Niyakap ko ulit sya at patuloy na pinakalma.
Nang mas tumagal unti-unti ng nawawala ang pag iyak nya. Patuloy pa rin ako sa paghaplos ng buhok at mga braso nya. I was topless and she was naked and just covered herself using the blanket. What happened last night should be a good thing for US. But I think it was just for me. And for her, I think it was not. She's still have a trauma. And what happened last night, make her remember all the thing that person did to her.
Why I felt like it was my fault?
Something inside of me was angry. Not because of her, but to myself. And also to that guy who raped her.
I never stopped hugging her until she calmed down, "Rose..." I murmured. I buried my face on her neck and I can smell her hair.
"Hm?" She breathe out. Hugging me tight, still scared.
"If that guy who raped you were here..." I gritted my teeth in angriness, "I'm going to fucking cut his happiness."
She snorted. I can feel she bit her lip. Because she always do that when she's fighting herself to laugh.
Binitaw ko muna ang pagkayap namin sa isat isa at hinawi ang buhok nya. She was almost laughing from what I'd said.
I chuckled, "funny, but that was true." I said grinning.
She wrinkled her eyebrows. And finally the laugh burst out. Sunod sunod nya na pagtawa. Para naman akong tanga na nakangiti at nakatitig sakanya. I really want her seeing her like that. I cupped her cheeks and rub it using my thumbs, she's just staring at me. Pinunasan ko ang luha na tumulo sa mukha nya kanina.
"Rose..." I moved my face closer to her, and let our foreheads touch,"don't let him scare you all over and over again," I rub my nose to her nose, "because he won't, and can not do that anymore, " she bit her lower lip, staring at me, "because I'm here. I will always be here, Rose. At hindi na ako papayag na gawin pa nya ulit 'yon sayo." I sincerely said.
She sighed and gently hold my cheek, "thank you, Henry," she kissed the other side of my cheek, "thank you." She repeated.
Ngumiti ako sakanya at pinunasan ang mga natitirang luha sa mukha nya.
Pagkatapos nun ay bumaba na ako para tignan kung may umagahan na bang nakahanda. At bago iyon ay nagshower muna s Rose pagkatapos ko.
Nang makababa naman ako ay nakita ko na may umagahan ng nakahain. Umupo ako sa upuan na madalas kong inuupuan. Sabi naman ni Yaya Amy ay lumabas daw si Yaya Jean para mamalengke.
Kaya nagsimula na akong kumain. Di naman nagtagal ay sumunod na si Rose sa hapag-kainan. Umupo sya harapan ko at naghanda na para kumain. Tahimik lang kaming kumain dalawa.
Habang kumakain, hindi ko maiwasang hindi mapatitig sa mga galaw nya. It made me remember what happened last night. Kumuha ako ng pandesal at pinalamanan ko iyon. As I bite it, I didn't stop staring at her intensely. Like she's the one I'm biting. I eat it slowly.
Dahan dahan nya namang ibinaling ang atensyon nya sa akin. Nakita nya ang pamamaraan ko ng pagkain sa pandesal. When she stared at me emotionlessly, I gave her my sexy smirk. She grinned and rolled her eyes.
And bit her lip. Asfck.
"Stop doing that." I warned.
She wrinkled her eyebrows in curiosity, "doing what?"
I cleared my throat, "biting your lip."
"Oh," acting like she was shocked, "sorry." She grinned.
After that, she bit her lip once again.
Naughty girl.
I sighed and played my tongue inside my mouth. I putted down my spoons, and walked towards her as fast as I could. And seated beside her, holding her cheek and moved very close to her. She just put her hands on her lap, looking at me, and froze.
God she's freaking adorable.
I smirked, "I already warned you."
I didn't wait for her permission or response. I kissed her without hesitation. I moved my lip upside down and she did the opposite. I bit her lower lip and pulled her back more close to me. She hold my chest, and breathing sharply. God. I love her.
Nang bumitaw kaming dalawa, hinayaan kong magkadikit ang mga noo namim. And let us breathe.
Until someone clears her throat. Easily got our attention.
Shit.
Humiwalay kaming dalawa sa isa't isa ng mabilis, at inaasahan na sana wala syang nakita. Pero halata namang meron.
Nang maghiwalay kaming dalawa ay nakita namin si Yaya Amy. Grinning. I stood up and went back to my seat. Acting like nothing happened.
Nagpatuloy kaming kumain ni Rose ng parang walang nangyari. We're completely embarrassed. I cleared my throat,
"What is it, Yaya Amy?" I asked looking at her while eating.
"Um... May tumawag po kasi kanina sa telepono. Hindi ko nalang po kayo tinawag para sagutin kasi mukhang tulog pa po kayo. Pero sabi po sa akin, may meeting daw po kayo mamayang 1:30pm. Kung pwede daw po h'wag ma late." Sunod sunod na sabi ni Yaya Amy," atsaka tumawag daw po sya sainyo kanina, sumagot naman daw po kayo, kaso lang ibinaba nyo daw po bigla."
I wiped my mouth using tissue, and stared at Rose for a second. I don't want to leave her yet. I just want to stay with her. But as what Yaya Amy said, I really have to go.
"I didn't received any of her calls." I said wrinkling my eyebrows.
"Eh..." Kinunot nya din ang noo nya sa pagtatakal, "yun po yung sabi eh."
I rubbed my chin in curiosity, "Nevermind."
I sighed and looked at my food again, "Pakihanda nalang po yung susuotin ko Yaya Amy. Please."
Tumungo lang si Yaya Amy at umalis na para sundin ang ini-utos ko sakanya. Pagtingin ko naman kay Rose ay halata ang pagkalungkot nito sa mukha.
"Aalis ka?" She asked lowering her head and chasing her food.
Isinubo ko ulit ang pagkain sa harapan ko at mabilis na inilunok iyon,
"Uh-hm. I'll be back at 10:00pm." I was sad when I said that. I want to go home more early. But I don't think I can.
Dati kasi ay maaga pa ako nakakauwi galing sa trabaho. Pero sa sinabi na aa akin iyon dati na matagagalan talaga dahil sa mga importanteng pag uusapan.
I heard her sighed, and looked at me. Paused.
"10:00pm?" She calmly asked.
Ibinaling ko ang atensyon ko sakanya at ibinaba ang kutsara at tinidor na hawak ko. Sumandal ako sa upuan and teasingly crossed my arms,
"Yep," I said, teasing and grinning, "missed me already?" I asked raising my eyebrows.
She smiled at me. And frowned.
Nawala din ang ngiti ko sa mukha nang makita ko syang malungkot.
"What's wrong, Rose?" I curiously asked.
She gulped and sighed, "I..." Closing her eyes deeply and opened it, "I..."
"I..??" I impatiently asked.
Please just say it.
"I really want to go with you." She said biting her lip.
What!?
What am I going to do!? Hindi ko sya pwedeng isama doon dahil pwedeng ma-bored sya anytime. Atsaka ano nalang iisipin ng mga tao or employees ko doon kapag nakita nilang kasama ko si Rose? God. I've never been brought a girl at my office or what. This could be really embarrassing. And she also might be my distraction. Dahil pwede ko syang isipin ng isipin habang nagme-meeting. Pero at the same time. I also want her to go with me. Pero hindi pwede. Hindi talaga.
I sighed and walked towards her. Sitting beside her, holding her cheek and hand, squeezing it.
"Rose..." I smiled, "I know that you really want to go with me, but... What if-"
"You don't want me to go with you. Is that it?" She interrupted me.
I moved a bit more close to her and rubbing her cheeks using my thumb, "n-no! Of course not. Gusto kitang kasama. Palagi. Pero, Rose... Hindi ka rin mag eenjoy doon... mabobored ka lang."
"Sabihin mo nalang kung ayaw mo kong isama, Henry" tumayo sya, binitawan ang pagkakahawak ko sakanya, at iniiwas ang tingin sa akin,
Agad rin naman akong tumayo at pilit na hinawakan ulit ang mga kamay nya. She's not looking at me anymore. Pero hinayaan ko nalang sya at nagpatuloy sa pag e-explain.
I sighed, "Rose...please..." I cupped her cheeks and forced it to look at me,
"I really want to spend my whole day and night with you... And I also want you to go with me. Pero ano nalang sasabihin ng mga employees ko sayo kapag nakita ka nila na kasama ako?-"
"Kinahihiya mo ba ako?" She asked. And now she was completely mad. She madly removed my hands on her face.
Kinahihiya ko nga ba sya?
God. All this time I wasn't thinking.
Bakit ko nga ba iniisip ang sasabihin ng iba?
Stupid Henry.
You're dumb as hell.
I was froze from what she said and tried to gather my thoughts and thinking how am I going to explain to her in the way that she wouldn't misinterpreted it. I bit my lip and sighed, and holding her hands again.
"No! Of course not, Rose."
"Then let me go with you... I want to be with you," she cupped my cheeks using her soft hands, "I'm scared without you, Henry. Nakita mo naman kanina na takot ako. Natatakot akong wala ka sa tabi ko Henry. Hindi ako sanay... Just please let me go with you, and I promise... I will not do things wrong or something that may ruin anything..." She said. I can see in her eyes that she's really scared.
She's right. She still in trauma. Still scared. And I'm the one who helped her and promised myself to do anything and everything just for her. And now, she just want to be with me. Because she's scared of something that bad things might happened to her again. Or someone might hurt her. And this time, I felt like a hero again. And this beautiful woman is asking for my protection. And it freaking feels good.
I sighed.
"Fine." I said. Defeated for a million times,
Suddenly a smile appeared on he lips and finally giggled and hugged me so tight. I immediately hugged her too.
"Thank you, Henry." She said and I can feel her breathing on my neck. I smelled her hair. Smiling like a fool. I love her seeing happy. Happy because of me.
When we pulled apart I kissed her forehead,
"Sige na, Rose. Maghanda ka na ng mga susuotin mo." I said smiling at her and not letting go of her waists. She also didn't let go of mine.
She simply nodded and smiled, "okay, sir." She said grinning.
I chuckled, and gave her a peck, "you're too cute, Rose," I rubbed my nose to her nose, closing my eyes and she did the same.
"what you're doing to me?" I whispered huskily.
She chuckled softly, and moved her face closer to my ear, whispering, "making you crazily fall in love with me." She whispered it so quietly. But I still heard it.
God. I'm freaking crazily falling in love with you. If you haven't noticed.

Ridiculous me. Haha. How was it? Rose's starting to be a
