He leaned down,
his face inches from mine.
I knew what was coming.
Of course I did.
I wrapped my arms around his neck
And stood on tip-toes.
Tilting my head up,
I couldn’t help but smile as his lips met mine.
And it was slow.
Thoughtful.
I giggled against his lips
and he pulled back.
His crooked smile was filled with amusement.
“Cracking yourself up?” he asked.
I smiled, “I really do need to get better at that.”
And it was perfect.
He is perfect.
I slowly removed my arms from behind his neck,
but I wish I could stay like that.
Forever.
