"Yes." I spoke out loud while pressing the button my iPhone screen before throwing it on
my bed from my desk.
It was a strange feeling to not have Lea here with me. I was used to her loud music, her non stop talking, the smell of food burning.
It was finally quiet.
For once I couldn't study: I had to much on my mind at the moment. I just sat in the desk chair staring at the hot cup of coffee sitting before me.
One little break won't hurt right?
I got up from my desk, the chair screeched as it was push across the wooden floor making me flinch slightly. I opened my sliding door and sat on the outdoor chairs, watching the street below. The wind blew and the scent of August made my heart ache: I looked down to see I was wearing his sweatshirt. Guess I'll burn this.
Speaking of burning, my neck still burned and ached in the spot where my mark use to lay. I placed my hands in the sweatshirt pocket to only touch a box. I furrowed my eyes in confusion
and instantly pulled it out.
"What the hell?"
A cigarette box.
I opened the box to see a few sticks and a lighter. Do I really need another reminder of him? I shoved both into the pocket before leaning back and shaking my head.
"Why can't I just love and be loved for once?
That's all I ask for."
My stomach growled lowly making me groan. I'll just order pizza or something. I stood up and entered my apartment and closed the balcony door behind me. I quickly took the sweatshirt off and walked into my closet and grabbing a black revenge sweatshirt, from the time Lea and I went to drake's concert and throwing it on.
I grabbed august's sweatshirt and I walked into my living room and threw it into the trash can. I quickly ordered the pizza and in minutes it arrived. I sat on my counter eating the pizza alone.
My phone started buzzing, I looked on the counter to see it was Chris calling me. I accepted
it and placed it on speaker.
"Hey Chris." I greeted shoving another
slice of pizza in my mouth
"Hey Babydoll, can Lea and I come over? I need help studying for the final tomorrow, because I really need to graduate." He said making me giggle
"Yeah of course, only if you
bring chocolate."
"Milk chocolate."
I smiled widely "You know me so well."
"We--" He began but was cut off by running in the background , "Is that Shiloh?"
It was August.
"Yeah it is dumbass, why should you care?" I could hear Chris hiss at him
"Because she's my mate, Shiloh I'm so sorry." August replied back making me squeeze my fist
"Fuck you, don't ever talk to me again." I finished and hung up the phone before shoving another
slice in my mouth.
I don't need no man, all I need is food.

"Aren't you going to study for your final?"
Lea picked her head up from Chris's shoulder, running her eyes looking at me tiredly. "I studied for 5 minutes, I got this final in the bag. I have a 97.7% in the class I'm fine."
I just sigh and nod, taking a sip of my coffee. We all sat in silence both Chris and I were studying while Lea just stared at me.
"If it makes you feel better I punched him and almost got kicked out of the pack earlier." She interrupted making me look up
Chris nodded, "I had to pull her off him, she got a few good scratches on him as well."
"That's not going to make a difference in anything, the damage has been done." I whispered softly before flipping the page in my notebook
I finally stopped thinking about him and
she had to bring it up.
"I'm going to take a quick nap, can you guys wake me up in thirty minutes?" I asked standing up from the dining room table looking at them
"Yeah I will." Lea smiled making me nod and shuffle to my room, I closed the door behind me and laid on my bed. I just laid on my bed: staring at the ceiling.
"I'm worried about her." I heard Lea whisper to her mate through the thin wall
"Me too, and have you seen august? That handsome little shit actually looks like garbage for once--it hasn't even been a day!" Chris gasped and heard lea slap him in the chest
"What do you expect? They were mates dumbass! You we're going crazy when I went to the mall without you." She sneered making him go quiet.
Were. We were mates. I missed his touch, I missed him. Even though I wanted to punch him at times;
I loved him.
"But I'll never leave you, Lea." Chris muttered and I heard his chair screech against the
wooden floor
"You better not, come here and give me a kiss you idiot!" She laughed and they laughed in sync.
Tears began to stream down my face, I grabbed my pillow to muffle my sobs. My body jerked as sobs racked my body; I heard my door open and the lift from the hallway leaked into my room.
My bed went down from someone sitting on it. I looked up to see Lea and she smiled softly at me, she rubbed my back soothingly.
"Do you want Chris and I to get you alcohol? It usually helps me when I'm feeling down." She asked making me shake my head
"No thanks, I just want to cry
myself to sleep."
"We can get male strippers for you, I know a few guys who are really well know strippers." Chris shrugged who was leaning against the wall.
"No it's fine, I just want to take this test and
sleep for ten days straight."

"Thank you Ms. Paige, I'm pretty sure you did outstanding." Mr. Greg smiled at me as I handed him my test so he can scan it.
"Thanks." I smiled, I turned around to see Chris looking at
me with wide eyes.
"What the fuck is this!" He mouthed to me while pointing to the test
"Mr. West keep your eyes on your paper please." Mr. Greg announced making other look at him, he blushed and stared back down at his
test in embarrassment.
Mr. Greg held up my scantron sheet up to the camera of his laptop, my heart started
beating fast .
"Ms. Paige would you like to
see your grade?"
I nodded my head quickly, not being able to talk at the moment. I went behind his desk and peered at the computer screen.

eligible for graduation
"I'll see you at graduation." He whispered
"I'll see you there." I smiled before walking out of the classroom before breaking out into
squeals of happiness.
I got my phone out of my bag and quickly went to my contact, i pressed on his name and heard the ringing. I walked down the hallway to the bench outside of the building, so I can wait for Chris.
"Hello."
"Hey dad." I replied happy to hear his voice,
I always loved my god father
"How's school Shy?"
"I passed with a 98% on the test, I'm going to graduate!" I smiled as I heard he burst into cheers and jumping around
"Are you coming to my graduation?"
That's when it went quiet.
"Sweetie, I can't my doctors won't enable me to fly to California but I'm so proud of you."
I just nodded, "Okay I understand,
talk to you later."
"Okay love you."
"Love you dad." I hung up and placed my phone in my bag only to see Chris run out the class
"You won't guess what I got." He said with a sad face, which made my heart break
"Is it bad?"
"A 24%"
Wow that's really bad.
"I'm kidding, I got a 92% your
boy is graduating!"
I squealed and pulled him into a hug,
"I'm so proud of you."
