FREEZING
JACKSON, WHAT'S wrong?" Amina wrapped her fingers around her waist in an attempt to contain her warmth. She had a jacket on but the cold didn't seem to care as it nipped at her skin despite the material over her body.
Jackson had called her over at three in the morning and though Amina wanted to know why at the time, she didn't question him and threw on her shoes to walk to his house.
Jackson, who was standing under the frame of his front door, reached back in to bring out the jacket that Amina loved stealing and tossed it to her.
"Here," he said and she mumbled a quick thanks before putting it over her head at record speed. "We're going for a walk."
Amina groaned. "Jackson, are you serious?"
"Quite."
