*(Y/N)'s POV*
It has been a couple of days since I last saw EXO. I haven't heard from any of them which is really strange because usually at least one of them sends me a message. The one that surprised me the most is D.O, he didn't answer the text I sent him the night of the talk show.
Did I do something wrong? Maybe, did he change his mind on liking me?
I have been worrying since that night because D.O has always answered me right away. I tried calling him many times but he hasn't picked any of them up. None of them have.
I stood in front of their dorms door for what seemed like ages. Which has only actaully been a couple of minutes. I have been trying to muster up the courage to knock on the door.
I'm just so nervous it's as if I don't belong here. I frowned when I began to think about it more. Maybe that's why no of them have contacted me. Do they not want to be my friends, I could feel my frown growing more as my trembling hand stopped before knocking on the door.
Before I could change my mind and leave the door flew open. My eyes widened as I dropped my hand and put it behind my back quickly looking down to the floor in embarrassment.
"(Y/N) what are you doing here I was about to call you" Lay looked at me wide eyed in shock holding his phone to his ear
"I-uh I was worried since I haven't heard from any of you so I came to see you guys" I explained avoiding his stare scratching my neck nervously
"Hurry come inside!" I yelped when he suddenly grabbed me by the hand dragging me quickly inside the dorm before I could say a word
Lay quickly sat me down in the living room where everyone else seemed to be gathered. I glanced around the room smiling to all the boys, I have missed them so much. I frowned when my eyes didn't meet with wide ones. Where is he? I quickly changed my expression, looking at all them but they all seem distracted.
"Guys what's wrong?" I fidgeted in my seat as all their eyes shifted to me in seconds
"(Y/N)! You have to help us" Chen shouted making me jump
"He won't come out of his room, we haven't seen him since we came back from the show" Baekhyun stood up taking a seat next to me
"Who?" I asked but I already had an idea who they were talking about
"Kyungsoo and we miss him" Kai whined dramatically throwing his hands into the air
"Yeah, (Y/N) we are worried about him" Luhan took the other seat beside me taking my hand as my worries for D.O began to grow
"Where's his room?" I stood up quickly and glanced around waiting for someone to point me in the right direction
"This way (Y/N)" Xiumin stood up and took my hand pulling me towards a long hallway, before anyone else could
We stopped in front of a door and he slowly let my hand slip out of his hand. He looked towards the floor not looking at me. I missed him, but it's as if I miss him even more now even though he is standing right in front of me. I miss the old Xiumin. The one that was my closest friend, the one that always had a smile on his face. I could feel my guilt beginning to grow
I know we agreed to stay friends but I can see he's acting different.
"Xiumin why are you being like this? Where is my XiuXiu?" I whispered he quickly looked up from the mention of his nickname and faintly smiled
"(Y/N), I'm okay. Just take care of Kyungsoo, he needs you" I knew he wore a fake smile but I believed him knowing he wanted me to. It pained me to see him like this but I nodded to him understanding "I hope everything works out" he patted my shoulder walking away
I looked at the brown door that was in front of me and I knew D.O was on the other side. I lifted my hand to knock, but I dropped it instantly. I sighed out a breath of frustration. Before I was so excited to see him, I wanted to tell him how I feel. I wanted to spill my heart out to him knowing he would accept it all.
Now I'm not so sure.
"D.O?" I whispered "D.O can I-uh come in?" I asked looking down at my feet "I really want to talk to you" I couldn't hear anything though the door, no response.
My heart and mind began to race. Does he really not like me anymore, he changed his mind. My heart began to ache at the thought of loosing him. Maybe I should just go back home, what am I even doing here. My eyes began to water.
I should just be glad I met them. I should just be glad they even know who I am. I should just be grateful that they treated me so nicely and became my friends, I should just say thank them and say goodbye.
I'm the reason D.O has to be in a fake relationship with me. I caused EXO all the trouble they have been facing. The fight between D.O and Xiumin. The hate online, I'm the cause of all of it. I sniffled and did my best to not let the tears drop. This is all my fault.
"Goodbye D.O" I sniffled, wiping my eyes
As I began to walk away, I was yanked back. I gasped when a door shut behind me. I quickly began to wipe my eyes, looking around the room.
D.O held my hand tightly in his, as he looked at me with sad eyes. I could feel my heart thumping in my chest. He slowly lifted his hand up, wiping his thumb under my eyes
"(Y/N) wh-why are you crying?" His voice was low and deep full of concern, it's as if he hasn't talked for days, but I ignored his question
Now that I looked at him clearly his eyes were a bit red and puffy. His usual neat tidy hair was a mess and he looked exhausted. He seemed depressed and sad, my heart broke the more I looked at him.
"D.O what happened?" He let my hand fall and I instantly missed his warm touch, he dropped his gaze and sat down on his bed looking at the floor "Everyone is worried about you, I was worried sick about you. Why haven't you answered any of my calls or messages" I explained concerned walking towards him
"It's because I didn't want to talk to you" My heart dropped, did I hear him right. I froze in my spot and my eyes began to water again. I was right, he doesn't like me.
"I'm sorry for bothering you" I whispered my voice cracking as I put my head down letting my hair fall forward covering my face "but at least talk to them, they didn't do anything wrong" I sniffled trying not to break down in front of him
"(Y/N)" I didn't answer, my voice useless "(Y/N) look at me" I felt his hand go under my chin as he gently lifted my head to look at him "Why are you crying?" with his question more tears began to flow
"Because you hate me" I whispered yanking my face away from. Taking a step away from him I wiped my stupid tears. I'm not going to cry. "I think I should go" I said walking towards the door, he blocked my path and took a step forward as I took one back
"Hate you, I don't hate you" He looked at me confused and shocked "If anything (Y/N) I'm completely in love with you" he said hurt
As his words left his mouth the world seemed to stop. He loves me. I looked at him with a mix of emotions, happy, shocked and surprised. I couldn't believe his words. Kyungsoo is in love with me. I didn't know what to say, I didn't know how to react my brain had stopped along with my breathing.
"What?" I whispered
"I love you (Y/N), and that's why I'm like this. At first all I thought was that I liked you, but now I know I'm utterly in love with you" he sighed "but I'm to late, and I know you chose Xiumin over me and-and it hurts" his voice cracked as my expression quickly changed into confusion
Chose Xiumin? What is he talking about?
"I didn't chose Xiumin" I said confused. He lifted his head quickly and looked at me wide eyed
"You didn't? But I saw him kissing you, after the talk show" I interrupted him
"He did, he confessed to me but I told him my heart belongs to someone else" I explained smiling when his heart shaped lips broke into a wide grin
"You didn't-I thought you did" before I could say anything else he wrapped his arms around me hugging me tightly towards me "(Y/N) I love you" he whispered, I wrapped my arms around him hugging him back
"I love you too" I whispered, he pulled back from the hug but kept his arms around me
"Really you do?" He asked
"Of course I do, I love you D.O" I said sincerely meaning every single word
"Will you be my girlfriend, (Y/N)" I nodded happily, he pulled me back into the hug and squeezed me as I giggled with happiness "I-" he was cut off by loud bang
We both looked towards the door. My eyes widened at the site, on the floor was the rest of the members. They were all tangled together in one giant doggy pile, shoving and one anther. Suho stood up quickly and coughed straightening his clothes and looked at us. Then to the othes on the floor slightly nudging them with his foot
"We weren't listening, I swear" Baekhyun jumped up hiding behind Suho "It was all Chanyeol's fault" He pointed at Chanyeol who glanced at us wide eyed shaking his head violently
"Congratulations guys!" Lay chimed in, pulling D.O and I into a hug as I laughed
"Guys" D.O said in a stern tone. Within seconds they all stood up straight and stared at him in fear, crowding all into one corner
"D.O we didn't mean to" Chen begged
"You guys were talking so long and we got worried" Kris said taking a step back, D.O took a step forward grabbing my hand
"Come on Kyungsoo let's not doing anything rash" Kai pleaded shoving Tao in front of him as they all cowered behind him. Tao wide eyed got into a protective stance. He lifted our hands in the air they closed their eyes, and I did the same
What is he going to do?
"(Y/N) is my girlfriend! She said she loves me!" D.O shouted and jumped up and down smiling widely. The members gave each other confused glances and looked towards me confused
"What did she do to D.O? I have never seen him this happy" Luhan asked giving D.O a confused stare along with everyone else
"He didn't kill us, this is kinda scary" Sehun whispered, they all went silent then cheered loudly together
"Congratulations! We are so happy for you guys!" They all shouted taking us all into one big group hug, as I laughed at their response
"It's about time" Kris explained patting me on my back
"I'm so happy for you two" Xiumin smiled widely looking between the two us
"Thank you, Xiumin" D.O smiled pulling Xiumin in a hug
My grin widened and I couldn't stop smiling. I can't believe this is actually happening. D.O just asked me to be his girlfriend and now we are officially dating we are a real couple. I felt his fingers interlace with mine as he tugged me slightly towards me.
He smiled happily towards me and the butterflies in my stomach stayed, I can't believe this is actually happening I have wanted this my whole life and it actually happened. I'm friends with EXO and now my bias is my boyfriend.
"This calls for a party! Let's celebrate" Baekhyun shouted
"Yeah! Come on, (Y/N) what do you say" Chanyeol asked, I looked towards D.O he nodded happily
"Let's go" I smiled as they all cheered heading towards the living room.
I could get used to this.
