You slowly open your eyes and yawn. Some sleep you had. You stretch your arms and then realize, you're sitting in a chair. Then you look up and see the control panel and the window with earth in the distance. "Greetings, Kirstin." You heard Zane say. You look next to you to see he's piloting the ship. "W-what happened?" you asked him.
"What do you remember?" you think for a moment before responding. "We...won, the fight against the aliens! And then...the rest is all black." "Well, you went into sleep mode just before you could get in a pod. So, I carried you in the pod and sat you down in this co-pilot chair, since the other wanted me to take this pod back home. I take it, you're alright?" Zane explains and you nod your head.
"Sleep mode? I've never done that...just regular human sleep though. My father warned me that my energy levels were going low." "Why so?" "Apparently the more holograms I use, the more energy I waste." "You saved us all still." Zane smiled and you smiled back. "No we, did it together. I just merely set off distractions for them."
"You still did great." "Thank you Zane. You too. Hey, let me help you drive this thing." you said as you activated the wheel and began to help pilot the pod. While piloting you heard Zane chuckle. You smile and turn your head slightly to him. "What?" "Your droid side is showing, princess." you blush real hard and turn your head towards the screen in front of you.
"O-oh my face is still, half and half?" "Indeed." "Oh, well, when we get to Borg Industries I will let cyrus help fix that." "You look beautiful though." "Pft, which side." You said with a scoff. "Both of course! It shows who you are." you don't reply but you smile at his words. You two then get ready to take the pod into earth's atmosphere.

The pod arrived in ninjago on the helipad of borg industries. Everyone cheered again as you all got off the pod, it was great being back in Ninjago. You all then made your way down to Borg's office, to give him updates, and to conclude your assignment. When you all got there, Cyrus perked and grinned when he saw you all.
"Everyone's back and alive!! Is everyone alright?!" he says, wheeling himself over to you all. "Tired, a little beat up and bruised, maybeee bleeding in some places, but we're alright." Lloyd said with a side smile. "What happened up there?! The last update I received was from Cole, telling me that he, Lloyd, Jay and Kirstin were about to steal an alien ship and go into space!"
One by one, you all explained your sides of the story. At the end, Cyrus was very glad to hear that you all had won. "Haha the Ninja did it again!!" "We had big help from Kirstin! She used a lot of holograms that got us pretty far." Jay says and rests his arm on you.
You smile and nod. "Yes, suppose I...did, do some help. I just left all the fighting to the others." "I'm very proud of you. And Kirstin! Your face! I'll get you fixed up, all of you!" Cyrus says then rolls himself over to his desk. He presses a call button and someone picks up. "Yes, Mr. Borg?" some girl asked on the other line.
"Pixal, the ninja are back and need some medical assistance. Send up a few doctors. Oh! And come up as well, I need to speak with you." "Right away, Sir." she said before hanging up. "Thanks so much Cyrus. You've been a big support this mission." Cole said and the other nod in agreement.
"Anytime!" Cyrus said with a grin. Just then a few Doctors came in and brought Sensei Wu and the others to the elevator to go down to the first aid room. "Zane and Kirstin, I can get you both fixed up myself." you both nod as you two followed him to the two treatment tables. You sat down on one while Zane sat on the other across from you.
"Kirstin don't smile okay. I will take a picture of your face and make a quick genetic copy print out of the other side." Cyrus says as he grabs a special camera and takes the picture before rolling away. You then swinged your legs and you noticed Zane doing the same thing. You look up at him and he gives you a smile, you couldn't help but smile back.
He was really adorable. You giggle at the thought of it, which let Zane give a slight laugh. Then, Cyrus rolled right back over with the other half of your face and he gave it to you and you took it. "Here you are Kirstin. There's a mirror over there, just carefully place it over and press and hold, it should click and hold it's place back in. Then your face should be the way it was." he says and you nod and hop off the table.
"Alright Zane, lets see what I can do for you." Cyrus tells him, adjusting his glasses. After a few minutes of placing the other half back on, you took your hand off it and you seemed brand new. "Hows it fit Kirstin?" "Just like it normal, Sir." you said brushing something off your skirt. Just then the elevator doors opened and out came a droid girl.
"Apologies for my tardiness Mr. Borg. The manager of the systems engineering department, quit." she says and cyrus scoffs. "I knew that would happen one of these days. But it doesn't matter now, what matters is, Zane and Kirstin are back! And there's some things I'm sure we must get straight. So, Kirstin why don't you introduce yourself." Cyrus says and you nod.
"Well uh, Hi. I'm Kirstin, I work here as Cyrus' assistant. Well, replacement assistant when you were gone. Oh and don't worry about introductions, I know about you." you say with a smile. She gives you a smile back and you two shake hands. You couldn't help but notice the relief on Zane's face.
"Alright so, here's the thing. I gave, Pixal her job back, Kirstin. But! I'm giving you something better!" Cyrus says and your eyes widen in surprise. "W-what?! Mr. Borg that's very kind of you. A promotion??" "Indeed. I know how much you want to be an engineer and take on the job your father had, but! Why not, you take charge of it."
"Y-you mean..." "Yes, become the new manager of my Systems Engineering department! You'll do just wonderful!" "Oh Mr. Borg! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!" you said with joy and gave him a hug. He chuckles, "Alright now Kirstin, your welcome. Now! I'll let you three handle your own, personal business." he says with a wink before rolling off.
"Right...so, Pixal...there was a Zane that came here the other day right?" you said and she nods. "That uh...wasn't me. I went up to the alien ship and he was my replacement...he only spoke lies." Zane says. "Oh...I see. And you are..." "Yes, I'm the real one. And I'm sorry if he has made a big confusion between you two about who I choose." Zane said with a nervous smile.
"That's alright. Who have you chosen?" Pixal asks and Zane puts his arm around your waist. "I hope you do not mind just, being friends Pixal...My power source- uh heart, has chosen Kirstin." you smile at him. "Oh then of course, friendship is alright with me. As long as you're happy. And besides Zane, you only flattered me but thank you for making me happy. You seem quite nice Kirstin, I look forward to getting to work with you." Pixal says with a smile and you nod. "You too Pixal."

"Eh. It needs more Tinsel." Cole says as everyone pitches in to decorate the tree. "Cole, I think this tree has way more than enough already." Kai says rolling his eyes and puts another Christmas ornament. "I agree. Too shiny, is too much." Jay said. "Pft fine! When I go home this Christmas, I'm gonna make sure my dad and I's tree is shiny!!" Cole says and the ninja snicker.
"Alright whatever. Okay! Should we put the garland on now guys?" Lloyd says and you all nod. You grab it from the box and start wrapping the bottom, then you pass it down to whoever was to reach the other side of the tree. "All good! Alright Zane, plug it up!" Kai says as he finishes wrapping the top. Zane nods and gets the chord to the lights then plugs it in. The tree lights up and you all cheer in aw. "Woohoo! Nice work everyone! Now lets split up and decorate the rest of the monastery!" Jay says as everyone gets something from the box.
It took 2 hours but eventually the box became empty and the monastery was all decorated. While decorating, you were able to give your mother a call and tell her everything that had happened last night. "Anyone up for some cocoa?" Misako asks you all as she brings in a tray of hot chocolate for everyone.
You all were by the tree, sitting across from the fireplace, getting back into the holiday spirit since Christmas eve is tomorrow. You all take a cup from her and thank her. "Ooh check it out guys, its snowing real hard outside." Jay says pointing to the window. "Well as long as my elemental fire, keeps burning in the fireplace, we'll be alright." Kai says feeling real proud of himself.
"Oh gee, thanks for reminding us." Cole says rolling his eyes with a chuckle. Zane takes a seat on the floor next to you and puts his arm around you. "Hi." you greet and he greets you back as well. You rest your head on his shoulder and smile as you take a sip from your mug. "You know, I think I might have an idea of what I want to give you for Christmas." you said
Zane raises a brow, "Really? Its alright Kirstin. Droids don't require much, just you being with me is enough." "I still would like to give you a present anyways!" you said and he chuckles deciding to give up. "I would like to make up...for what I did." "What could you have done that requires an apology present?" Zane asks.
You sigh then sip your hot chocolate. "I was fooled by that alien pretending to be you, and I was naive, I fell for it. Zane...we kissed, and it feels wrong now that I know the truth. I'm sorry." "Its alright, you didn't know. Everyone makes mistakes and I know you are the kind of person who would not do something like that." you smile at his words, glad that he is an understanding guy.
"Thank you, Zane. I feel better now, knowing how you feel about this." "Of course. I'm just glad that during the fight, I found him and I eradicated him." Zane says simply and you laugh. "Good! He deserved that!" he smiles at you then kisses your cheek. You grin and snuggle closer to him.
Everyone else was talking to each other about different things, but you and Zane just snuggled together in silence. It was nice, until your mother called you. You grab your phone and answer it. "Yes, Mother?" "Kirstin, I need you home." "Alright, coming." you said then hung up. You put your mug down on the table then tried to get up.
"Zane, my mother wants me home! Let go!" you giggled as he held his arm around you tight. "Stay!" "I'll come by tomorrow! I promise!" you said with a grin as you pecked his cheek then took his arm off you. You waved goodbye to everyone then left the living room to go get your coat by the door.
You felt Zane grab your hand and you chuckle at how much he wanted you to stay. "I really can't stay!" "Kirstin, its cold outside!" you let go but he gets the other hand. "Zane, I've got to go away." "But Kirstin, its cold outside." he says with a smile. "Look, this evening has been, so very nice." you say then he holds both of your hands.
"I'll hold your hands, they're just like ice!" "My mother will start to worry." "Princess, what's your hurry?" "So really I'd better scurry." "Princess, please don't hurry." you giggled then stopped when he pulled you close. "I wish I knew how-" "your eyes are like starlight now." you blush, "to break this spell." he chuckles and takes your hat off your head. "I'll take your hat, your hair looks swell."
You giggle then get it back from him and let go. "Zane, your welcome has been so nice and warm." "Look out the window at that storm!" "Maggie will get suspicious." you said and Zane gets close to you again. "Your lips look delicious." you blush really hard but try to ignore it. "And T-grey will be there at the door!" Zane grins as he gives you a few kisses. "Your lips are delicious." he says and you chuckle.
"Well, maybe just another kiss more." you said before kissing him back. You grin then pull away, "Zane, I've got to get home!" you said making your way to the door. "But Kirstin, you'd freeze out there!" "Lend me my coat." you said and he gives you your coat.
"Its up to your knees out there!" you put on your coat and shoes then give Zane one last kiss. "Its alright. The cold never bothered me anyways." you said with a wink before leaving through the door. Zane smiles and sighs as he closes the door. "I just wanted to cuddle more." he says before walking back to the living room.
