One month later...
=8:38am, 16th of July 2016=
"Good morning sunshine."
[Silas greets his half awoken girlfriend with a cup of tea in his hand.]
"Morning. Ughheueue, I'm so fucking tired."
[Silas frowns a little at her incongruous awakening but then chuckles because he knows this is what he loves.]
"Did we Skype the whole night?"
[She questions him, noticing the laptop that had been in the same position the night before.]
"Not really. You fell asleep fifteen minutes through our conversation."
"Oh... Ha sorry."
"I wouldn't even call it a conversation if you were barely listening to me. What's got you so knackered?"
"Same old work. After transferring to school to give us lectures, Lawrence has been working me every fucking day." [She grumbles as she stretches in bed and rolls back to face Silas.] "Don't even know why the asshole wants to come all the way here."
[If Naya had been fully awake, she would be able to see the tint of jealousy in the corner of his eye.]
"Just work?"
"Yeah... He's got a girlfriend and all so classes are off earlier these few days."
"Delightful."
"You jealous?"
"Of course I am, I get extremely territorial especially when I can't physically make sure you're away from oh so charming Doctor Lawrence. Because sweetheart, I know well enough that you've got a solid rack that I don't want anyone placing their slimy hands on.
"You're all mine."
"If you want it, come get it you twat. Come to fucking New Orleans and you can have me all you want."
"Naya?"
"Oh hello Fiona."
"Hello Silas. Sorry, can I borrow Naya for a minute?"
"Sure."
"What is it, ma? Can I talk to you later?"
"Naya..."
"I promise I'll come down-"
"It's the 16th..."
[Almost instantaneously, Naya's expressions changes with the mention of a date, the colour in her face slowly lightening. Her heart is racing and her head is a mess. Naya starts to nip her cuticles as she looks towards the calendar to check the date.]
"Sorry, I'm going to have to call you back."
"Is there-"
"Call you soon."
"Love yo-"
[Completely oblivious to Silas, she shuts the laptop and rests her elbows on it. Naya cups her face in dysphoria, on the verge of crying.]
"How could I fucking forget..."
"It's today..."

i just want to say thank you so much for being so supportive on the previous chapter. never did i expect for all of you guys to come forward and tell me how much you liked the book. i am truly touched.
i've garnered a lot of inspiration and courage from you guys to keep going not just on clinomania but on my other book so thank you.
do know that are way more authors than you can imagine that are facing the exact same problem and its really discouraging them from writing quality books.
we're really all just diamonds in the rough but the more people leave them be and not pay them any attention, writers begin to think their work is worthless and uninteresting.
so please do show us all some love, we could really use it! i hope that you guys can try to vote and comment in whatever you read. trust me when i say writers appreciate them, because we need it to keep writing :")
