[After GPF at the Celebration]
Yurio grunted as everyone crowded around him to congratulate him on his gold metal win for the millionth time. It's not that he wasn't happy about winning but he just hated before backed into a corner like vulnerable prey.
His eyes caught a glimpse of Otabek through the avalanche of bodies. Otabek stood in a dark blue suit and black dress shoes. His back was to Yurio so Yurio took this moment to admire his sleek black hair and the way his suit fit him perfectly. Otabek turned around with a glass of champagne in his hand. He drank it down before looking directly at Yurio. Yurio jumped in surprise and looked away as he began to blush, when he looked back Otabek had a small grin on his face. Otabek turned away as if they weren't having a staring contest a few seconds ago.
Yurio's mouth hung open before gritted his teeth, how dare he? Yurio was ready to go give Otabek a piece of his mind but was taken back when Victor and Yuri stepped in front of his view of Otabek.
"Congratulations, Yurio!" They cheered in unison.
Yurio groaned, "yeah, thanks, Pork Cutlet Bowl," he looked at Yuri.
More people began to crowd around Yurio. He began to get angry. He always remembered the rule of grace that Madam Lilia taught him but it couldn't stop the uneasiness that grew in him in this moment.
One moment he was looking at faces on top of face and the next someone grabbed his hand and he was running.
Yurio hadn't taken in what had happened until he was standing against the wall in a quiet hallway breathing heavily while looking up at Otabek.
"Ota-"
Yurio froze when he felt a pair of warm lips against his. He looked up into Otabek's eyes with stiff lips. Was this actually happening?
Otabek ran a hand up Yurio's soft cheek and into his blond hair before closing his eyes and deepening their kiss. Yurio melted under his touch and gracefully slipped his arms around Otabek's neck.
Their lips moved in unison as the either bodies began to heat up. Yurio could feel his cheeks burning with embarrassment but he was happy.
When Otabek pulled back Yurio looked away. His cheeks turned a deep scarlet as he struggled to release any words.
"I didn't get to congratulate you on your gold medal," Otabek said.
Yurio heart jumped. He looked to the ground with a small smile, "y-your an idiot...but thank you," he said.
He looked back at Otabek just as Otabek placed a soft kiss on his cheek, "let's get back before everyone starts to wonder where we are," Otabek said taking Yurio hand.
Yurio blushed deeply, "o-ok," he said as he held Otabek's hand.
They walked back to the ballroom hand in hand.
