Sitting on her bed, Sophia was going through some files , when suddenly Maria came in with a goodie bag. She had this beautiful smile on her face and her eyes were shining with happiness.
"Look what Alberto got me!" She spoke in her French accent. Sophia kept the files aside and smiled at the lady.
"It's a goodie bag!" She laughed. "Which is filled with chocolates."
"Yes!" Sophia kept the bag on hr bed and sat down. "I have always loved chocolate. When I was around 7 years old I started cooking. Well, I tried. My mother was a well known baker and my father owned a bakery. Oh! Quels beaux jours! (Oh what beautiful days) Since then I have always loved chocolate, and such goodie bags filled with them are just splendid.!" She looked up at Sophia and frowned.
"You look so gloomy mon enfant! What's wrong?" She quickly brought her hand up to Sophia's forehead and then the other one to her own. "You don't have fever. Qu'est-ce qui ne va pas?" (What's wrong then?)
"Maria, English please."
"Je suis désolé!(I'm sorry) I asked you what's wrong?"
"It's just I have a lot of work and I can't seem to get a hold of all this. I thought I could get a break here in Paris but alas I'm here working. I feel so exhausted"
"Maybe you should leave this for a while. Go take a dive in the swimming pool or maybe go visit our gardens, they're real beauty" She said proudly. Sophia smiled, "Firstly i did go to the gardens this morning and it's really cold so i can not go swimming"
Maria sighed.
But then suddenly jumped up, ''I know what you can do! I'll call Zayn and tell him to take you to his amusement park! It's a 1 hour ride but it will be totally worth it! Je dois l'appeler! (I must call him)" Without even waiting for a reaction she got up with her goodie bag and walked out of the room.
Sophia sat there still. What just happened?

"I'm sorry you have to do this" She apologized for the hundredth time.
Zayn smiled at her and shook his head, "I offered to show you around Paris, remember? And plus I got a day off my work, trust me, it can get really exhausting at times.
Sophia nodded and thanked the man for the tickets. The amusement park was filled with people which made it such a happy place.
"I feel like a little girl again"
"Well technically you are still a girl" He laughed. Sophia shrugged and looked around "Oh my god.." She whispered.
Zayn looked at her with a confused expression and then looked at the place she was looking.
She couldn't believe he was here!
"Salvador! What a nice surprise!" She took a step towards him but stopped right there when someone's hand grabbed her wrist. "You know him?" Zayn asked with a blank expression. It made Sophia worried, what was with all the Manhattan's hating Salvador?
"Yes he was one of our clients.." She lowered her voice a little, "And let go of me!"
She moved towards Salvador and his lips curled up in a smile.
"Sophia, what a nice surprise."
Sophia blushed under his gaze and smiled back,"What are you doing here?"
''Just business"
"In an amusement park? Wow, your client must be seven" Zayn spoke with so much hatred it made Sophia shiver. She turned around and gave him an evil eye, what was wrong with him.
"We need to go Sophia, it's not safe here." Zayn muttered and Salvador narrowed his eyes.
"What are you talking about we just came here?" Sophia looked so confused. Why did all these brother suddenly got protective around her when ever he's around.
Zayn rolled his eyes and grabbed her by her arm not too tightly but a bit firmly and pulled her with him away from Salvador towards the parking.
"Oh my god what is wrong with you! You did not have to humiliate him like that! It was not justified.
Instead of answering, her pushed her softly inside the car got in from the other side.
"Take us home" Zayn barked at the driver who obliged and pressed the accelerator.

"Ils ont fait quoi?" (They did what?)
Maria gasped, looking at her shocked as she entered the room without closing the door. I nodded, fully frustrated with these two men. Who do they think they are?
I'll be leaving tomorrow as it is, so it does not really matter anymore. But do you have any idea where can I find the best pearl necklace?'' I asked her
''Yes, a pearl necklace. I want to buy it for my friend, also something for my daughter, i already did shop a few things but I just want a few more.''
Maria nodded her head, ''Since you don't want to go with them you can go with Alberto. He'll take you to the nearest jeweler and you can buy whatever you want, I'll be leaving for my sister's birthday in an hour, so get ready and meet me downstairs? ''
Sophia gave her a soft smile and shook her head. ''No, You don't have to do that. Can I please go on my own?'Sophia asked hopefully.
Maria was confused, why would she not want to go with anyone?
''Before you ask why-" Sophia interrupted , ''I don't want to bother anyone, also because I want to go out on my own. I really appreciate what you want to do for me, but let me go alone? I'll call you at all times and even if i get in trouble which i wont'' She tried her level best to make her understand that she did not like to be spoon fed and it would be really nice for her to go on her own to take a break.
Maria sighed, '' Fine, but you do call me okay?'' Sophia nodded and hugged her, 'Thank you''.

Sophia was all set to go, she was wearing a pair of high waist-ed shorts with a cream color crop top and a pair of floral sneakers. Her hair were made in a high ponytail and she had a cardigan wrapped around her waist just in case it gets too cold.
She slipped in her phone in her pocket and a lot of money in her sling bag, she knew Paris was expensive and she wanted to take no chance.
With that she got out of her house and hailed a cab. The cab driver dropped her at St-Germain-des-Pres which was exactly like an outdoor mall, it was beautiful. She walked from one shop to another, on book store to another, all the way buying things for herself and Serenity.
She was on her way to Les Halles and Rue De Rivoli to grab something to eat when suddenly her phone started to ring, but she had tacos in one hand and coffee in another, and was still standing. so instead of picking up the phone she went ahead eating her tacos. The phone rang one, twice, thrice. It was starting to frustrate Sophia, why couldn't everyone just leave her for a day?
But then a sudden thought crossed her mind, was Serenity okay?
She quickly threw her coffee which was not even touched, and with Tacos
in one hand she quickly took out her phone .
Conner calling...
Never in her entire life has she been this infuriated with this man. She wanted to gag that human and sink him into the sea and then crush his body with a roller.She wanted one day away from him and that was way too much for him . She quickly cut the call and switched off her phone, sliding it inside her pocket. She looked at the bin, which not had her coffee, and practically growled. Conner was sick !
and Hour later she hailed a cab to go to the some other market which had a bit cheaper things, compared to the entire place. Money was not a problem for her not, she had a very good pay, but she had seen hard times and she knew money did not grow on trees.
After another two hours, she had quite a few bags with her an her own bag was over stuffed. I t was almost 8 when she got free and hailed a cab to go back home, but to her surprise, she was told by the driver that the distance was more than an hour. She had travelled that much. But she was more happy than shocked, she had truly enjoyed herself and was not even able to keep record of her own time, her day went good.
After a few minutes she decided to switch on her phone and call Erica, she did not get a chance to talk to Serenity when she left because she has gone out with Xavier and Sapphire.
But oh what a mistake it was. As soon as she switched on her phone, notifications flooded in.

5 Missed calls from Alberto and that was not all,
14 text messages .
With her eyes wide she opened her inbox only to find all of them were from Conner.
''Why did you not pick up Ms. Morin?''
''What are you Ms. Morin?''
''Are you okay?''
Sophia? WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU'' and on and on it went.
Sophia wanted to laugh at him, what was wrong with this guy?
But then .. the last message caught her eye,
''Bad girls get punishments''
