Me and Luke still haven't talked and I hate it I think I'm going crazy!
I know I haven't known him for that long but it does feel like I've known him forever and I don't want him mad at me.
I think when I get home later I'm just going to go down to the basement and talk to him even if he doesn't want to.
Me, Mary and Kate all go to the coffee shop after school.
"So you and Eli are going on a date this Friday" Kate say wiggling her eyebrows at me I've notice Mary has been really quiet
"Yeah" I nod as I take sip
"You don't seem excited?" Kate ask suspiciously
"I am I am" I give her a small smile
"You know Eli never been a relationship type of guy" Kate says are me and Eli already in a relationship? We haven't even gone on our first date yet "the last real relationship he had was with Mary" Kate smirks
Mary chokes on her drink.
"What?" I look at Mary because she never told me this
"we were in elementary" Mary says blushing
"You guys were really cute I always thought you'd two would end up together" Kate says smirking at the both of us probably hoping we will start fighting for Eli's hand
"It was a long time ago we are just friends now" Mary gives me a small smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes
"Anyway what are you going to wear?" Kate asks me changing the subject thankfully
"O haven't thought about it" I shrug
"Don't wear any of the stuff you wear at school" she says
"What anything you wear will be fine" Mary says to me
"Am I supposed to wear a dress?" I ask them
"What do you usually wear when you go on dates " Mary asks me
"I've never been on one" I look down at my cup of coffee
" what? You've never been on a date" Kate laughs "well actually I kind of believe that" Kate whispers to Mary, Mary glares at her
"You and eli are going to have a great time" Mary says
I walk back home practicing in my head what I'm going to say to Luke and hoping we can make up.
I unlock the door and head straight to the basement door.
I take a deep breath and open the basement door.
