Cali's PoV
"Stop doing that" I laughed quietly as I faced Dylan
"I hold creepers of the night, I can't picking up their habits" he laughed as he pressed his hands into my stomach and felt around for the baby
"Oh he's doing great" he smiled as he slowly let go of my stomach. I smiled since I knew I was doing this right
Now i know I shouldn't say this, I shouldn't even allow this to cross my mind but I'm starting to, well, like Dylan. Like, like him, like, like like him. The like where I want to go further with him. I don't know I shouldn't think like that, since he's the devil and I'm human and I'm only carrying his child. But I've spent so much time with him and had him show me such care, my silly girl heart has fallen for him. This birth isn't going to be hard because of the actual baby exciting but because it meant saying goodbye to Dylan, and I didn't want that.
"I thought I'd walk you home, so no crazy people come after you In the park" he said as he moved to my side and wrapped his arm around my waist around my back. Making me feel safe
Dylan's PoV
Now is when I start to text her more. The first test was the worse, I needed to do it when the baby was small so it wouldn't be harmed and if he was it wouldn't be a waist of time and I could plant a new one.
I needed to put her in a situation of death next. I needed to see how she dealt with death. See how she would Handel it and the after math state.
I had a whole scene set out, I got some of my little demons to put together this little play so I could monitor her reaction.
Cali's PoV
We walked past the children's play set when suddenly a men ran past us, another man behind with a gun. I stopped walking and just watched as the guy shot the guy to the floor, his head literally exploding
I just watched and stared In shock,
Trying to process everything.
"WHAT THE FUCK" I screamed before starting to hyperventilate
"It's okay, come on let's leave" He said and started to push ma towards the exit. I just breathed heavily then turned to him. For some reasons I didn't feel scared, he comforted me
"Are you okay" he asked. I nodded
"Yeah yeah, I just really want some BBQ ribs right now" I breathed out as a strong craving rushed over me
Dylan's PoV
I didn't expect that reaction but I could sense she was comforted and fine. And I guess she got a craving
"Let's go get one" I said to her. That could be a treat for her passing the test.
So, pain and intensity wise she was fine and also with death she was fine. So far the actual birth was looking to be just fine.
