I want to explain the exponential sadness I feel in the depths of my being, but I can't. Because how do we explain the irrational?
We don't. For numbers, we do our best, get as close as we can, but still, there is no end to an irrational number, which leads me to believe that in all cases of irrationality there is no end, it is simply infinite.
And then I am sad again, thinking about just how very likely infinite sadness is.
