Highschool. Teachers and parents like to describe it as one of the best times of a young persons life. I describe it as a social and emotional hellhole, hellbent on destroying spirits but most of all, happiness.
But then again I'm pretty cynical, but if you asked I'm sure some other people would say something similar...except her.
Her happiness is something that is so radiant and overflowing that I've seen it change the worst of moods to an overly optimistic one. Her smile so bright that she could make even the grumpiest teachers smile back. Her beauty so obvious that she turned the heads of everyone in the hallway, and what makes her even more beautiful is that she doesn't believe she's this drop dead gorgeous.
But what truly intigues me about her is, the way her eyes shine so dazzingly when her eyes drift to me in the classroom. And how the prettiest smile graces her face as she looks at me. And everytime this happens, I think that maybe highschool and how chaotic it could be doesn't matter when an angel like her, would bother to make my life brighter in hell.
