We all got out of the karaoke place by 10:30pm. "Ahh.. Today was the best day ever!" Said Lily excitedly. "Yes.. it was huh?" Said Nistle, he was drinking his soda. "Ok.. it's really late, we gotta wake up early tomorrow too." I said, I was really tired to be honest. "True.. Its gotten pretty late." Said Ken. "Goodnight Emi!" Lily said and hugged me. "Thank you for the gift!" She hugged me even tighter. "Y-your welcome Lily.. Goodnight" I said and hugged her back. "Goodnight Ken." Lily said and bowed. "Thank you for the wonderful gift." , "Not a problem." Ken replied. "Well then, pai-pai." She said and walked over to Nistle. "I'm going to drop Lily til her house. Goodnight Emily, Goodnight Ken." He said and held Lily's hand. "Goodnight" , "Goodnight." Me and Ken said it in a unison.
Lily and Nistle left us
"Let's go" Ken said, I nodded. We both started walking. "Um.. Ken you don't need to drop me to my house.." I said, I didn't want to trouble him. "Huh? What are you talking about? I can't leave a girl alone in the middle of the street at night right?" He said and looked at me. I looked back at him, his words made my heart beat fast. "Alright.. Thank you." I said softly. There was a silence all of a sudden, I could only hear our footsteps, just then I remembered about Ken's gift to Lily. I wanted to know what all that was about.
"Ken, can I ask you something?" I asked. "Sure, go ahead." He said. "About the keychain you gave her.." , "Ahh that? I was confused on what gift to get Lily so I asked Nistle and he told me that there was a specific keychain that she always wanted, I asked Nistle why he couldn't buy it so he said it was too expensive and he was broke at the moment so I bought that gift for her." , "Oh.. I see." I said, I was really surprised that Ken went all the way and bought a gift that Lily specifically likes. He really has a big heart huh?
"Why are you smiling?" He asked me, "Eh?.." Was I smiling just now? "Nothing nothing." I said and smiled. Before we knew it, we reached our house. We stood in front of the gate. "Guess it's goodbye.." He said "Yes.. uh goodnight.." I said ad opened the gate. "Wait." He said. "Eh?" I said. He walked inside the gate and kissed me on my cheek. I blushed, I was shocked, he kissed me all of a sudden. "Goodnight Emily.." He said, I looked him in the eyes, "Goodnight.." I whispered. He went a few steps back and signaled me to go in. I nodded and walked to the door. I looked back at him and waved. He waved back. I opened the door and walked inside, closing the door behind me. "I'm home.." I said softly. I tiptoed to my room, I didn't want to wake anyone up. I looked out the window from my room and saw that Ken was no longer there anymore. I unconsciously smiled. Suddenly my phone vibrated, I took it out of my bag and saw that is was a message from Ken.
From Ken : Goodnight, I love you.
That message.. I felt so happy..
To Ken : Goodnight, I love you too <3.
Ken.. let's meet at school tomorrow okay..?
