Most people like me but I am not as good as I seem to be,
I live anywhere imaginable, islands of Antarctica to the branches of oak tree.

I leave my kids alone to starve or to steal from another home,
Some of them grow up to be so naughty; dependent and jobless they roam(?)

I cheat, I steal yet I am worth hundreds of dollars,
People burn and kill for me,
A sneaky little staller.

Brit cops guard me, last lady slipper
Manuelito's country stands for me, Dracula. Aussies tend to save me, the spiders from the hares. While some try to breed me, cigars.
