Class Clown

Chapter 1

I walked in on the first day of class, nervous and excited at the same time. I didn't know who was in my class; this was a BIG thing. Who was in my class could decide my future friends. I walked in, and saw a few people that were my friends, but mostly people I didn't know very well. I was happy. I could make some new friends! I hung my backpack up, and looked around for my seat. I found my nametag. "YUKI KOYAMA" it read, in bold letters. I wondered, for the umpteenth time, why my parents had to name me Yuki. It's Japanese for snow, but I wish I had an American name like Grace or Julia or something. I just had to be named Yuki. But whatever. I sat down in my seat. In walked a kid with dark, curly hair. I cocked my head. This was odd. Right from the start, I could tell that this kid was different. He started making jokes and stuff about everything. I was confused. Why was he doing this? What was his name? Why was I so draw to him? I didn't know. So, I decided to make some observations first.
