When the rays of the morning sun ,
gently perched upon her eyes,
a gentle smile tugged on her lips ,
as her heart reminded her of thy.
She whispered soft wishes for him,
Though they cannot reach him miles so far.
Still her lips they prayed for him,
Each time they witnessed a shooting star .
As the day kept Passing by ,
As the sun striked up the sky;
Her artless eyes they searched for him,
Even though the hopes were dim...
Having stuck her glance upon his gaze,
Her heart skipped up from its normal pace
Oh her thoughts !! They hastily rush ,
And as he smiled , her cheeks did blush..
Full of fantasy , that's what her world was meant to be,
But that guileless soul never figured, it was just a game of destiny .
She never knew how hard she fell,
Her mind had always sparked rebel.
And now she was begging to be cured,
Her innocent soul it was painfully lured.
Her eyes did cry,
Her heart did weep
Those tears they came up to life,
Not from beyond those eyes ,
But from the heart ,
That felt those heartless strifes .
Her heart was forcefully knocked off that crown ,
Her blissful world came shattering down .
She never was brave,
For destiny she was a slave.
And by the time the dusk doomed upon the sun,
Her countess feelings were reduced to none.
The smile that spoke madness,
Altered to one that screamed fakeness .
That pain drived off that smile,
The hurdles went high through every mile.
Her spirits unleashed ,
Her sentiments were sealed.
Her glowing eyes which once twinkled with happiness,
Void of any emotion , grief is now what all they possess.
The girl who once owned a golden heart , oh bless!!
Her empty soul is now claimed as heartless .
If only she could have not made it so melancholy,
If only she trusted the dawn of shining posterity.
And by the time the Moon sparkled with its light,
She had resolved to become her own knight.
She was sure to be the Brooke that moves on,
Hope tugged on her face, she waited for the new dawn.
