Deadly Waters

       The following day, Helen asked Hilda to accompany her to the beach. Hilda didn't suspect anything  her sister was planning  and innocently agreed to come along. Nobody knows until now what really happened on that fateful afternoon when the twins went swimming. But when Helen came back to their house, she was screaming and crying, telling her parents that Hilda accidentally drowned.
       It was Helen who told Raffy of her twin's death. When Raffy learned of what happened, he was devastated. He turned to Helen for comfort and support during the wake and even after the funeral. As Helen expected, their friendship grew even deeper. Eventually, the two became lovers.
          When the parents of Helen learned of their relationships, they got mad and berated her.
" Hindi mo na nirerespito ang kapatid mo, wala kang delikadeza!!"    Aling Elsa screamed at her.
           Helen remained unaffected and when Raffy asked to marry her, she agreed without hesitation. Preparations for the wedding got underway despite the objections of Helen's parents.
