"i gather your treating my sister well then?" i asked Micheal who nodded with a large smile on his face as he looked to amy who smiled back her hand sliding her into his
i chuckled with a yawn rubbing my eyes looking to the clock on the other side of the room nova must be in bed by now i chuckled again
"i think we should all call it a night" i told them standing from the long table and they followed hands still linked together
to think i tried keeping them apart...
they followed me to the large wooden door that prevented noise from slipping pastthe seams of this room as it was sound proof also
i went to pull it open only to have it pushed against me hard i growled lowly
"al--" the rouge started eyes widening in shock and i growled at him lowly he bowed at his head "i'm sorry alpha i didn't mean to hit you it's just--"
i snapped
i growled down at him baring my fangs towering over him belittling him and he whined urgently baring his neck to me and i paused he never did that over the five months i had known him he always bowed always
"what happened " the words were out of my mouth before i could think
"luna nova was sick and she----"
"and you left her alone!" i growled
pushing past him amy and alpha crawly forgotten as i ran to my man taking the stairs three by three until i was in our room kneeling by her side as she vomited into the toilet once more her hair having gotten in the way, the pounding in my head increased until I was squinting hard trying to keep them open
she pullled back from her position to look up at me and i rubbed her back gently and she whined at me the pain in her voice made my heart ache i kissed her neck feeling her racing pulse she was scared
i cradled her closer whispering sweet nothings until she closed her eyes snuggleing closer to me her stomach having hopefully settled
i looked back to felix who stood terrified in the doorway
"what happened" i growled lowly my voice calm and venom dripped from my lips and he visably shook
"i-i-i d-d-don't kn-know she was f-f-fine then she s-tarted vomiting a-a----"
i had heard enough i lifted her from the ground holding her close to me as i carried her out of the room she made soft whines of disagreement but i shushed her with a peck to the temple her body was heated like a furnace
and not the comfortable heat we have as a werewolf
it wasn't long before i walked into the infirmary harris already in front of me having linked him earlier i sat down on the table
he quickly checked her over
heart breathing blood presure
she was fine
"well what is wrong with her" i gritted out as nova shifted in my arms wrapping her own around my neck i held her tighter
"i don't know alpha until i do a blood test"
"and if you did when will i know, what's wrong with her"
"we will have it back to you in a few hours alpha that's as fast as i can possibly go"
