Felixs pov-
it was a strange feeling
not having a mate that is
but following around a female charge
being the protector of a luna
i felt a strange... closeness, to her
like a mate pull
just different
i didn't just crave to be around her
i needed to be near her
like she was oxygen and i was suffocating
i needed to know she was safe at all times and so did my wolf
but these feelings hightened came summer (A/N because remember they were still in winter)
where her scent
her sweet scent
changed to something ... spicier
and i had a stronger need to be around her to stay near to her
but as well as that it was like something was ... wrong
i followed her upstairs as it began to grow dark outside he had a small smile on her face as she made her way to the room she and her mate occupy together she stepped inside Alpha Daniel was no where to be seen her smile wavered slightly
"i'm sure he's still working" i consoled "would you like me t---"
"no Felix" she said quietly looking up to me
i smiled at her though she didn't return it we stood in silence for a long amount of time until Nova's body lurched and she held a fist to her mouth before racing to the bathroom worried i followed on her heels ignoring the rule that i wasn't allowed to enter
i found her leaned over the toilet bowl heaving into in i was quick to pulled her hair from her face rubbing her back in a comforting fashion until she was finished
she whimpered quietly
"should i get the alpha luna?" i asked gently and she nodded as i got to my feet
"he's in the confronce room" she mummbled as i left
